    The mobile roots of Bloons TD 5 are many and varied. However it is cheap and well enough constructed that there is fun to be had, and if you’re looking for a tower defense game this is one of the better ones on the system.

    Bloons TD5 on PS5 was fun to play. The controls held me back for a while but I can safely say that it felt very well controlled in my platinumBloons TD5 on PS5 was fun to play. The controls held me back for a while but I can safely say that it felt very well controlled in my platinum playthrough. It took me around 105hrs to complete all maps on all 5 modes, all 10 special maps and all 250 random missions. I did some masteries medals to for fun and to get all upgrades.

    Some stuff can be quite repetitive if you find the right formula but the random missions will break this up due to limitations to towers, money or abilities. The game ran pretty stable, I had no bluescreens but it will lag in very-late stages of the game to small bits. This seems also an issue on other platforms that go to hundreds of waves.

    Overall the game is cool, its fun, the price is good. If you like tower defense this is absolutely fantastic. I am just sad that the TD6 is not available on consoles yet. I think most players will be probably invest around 150-200hrs until completion. Still then you can go for the mastery levels or play the random weekly trial or Odyssey.    … Expand
