Gleylancer is an odd choice of game to revive but this port adds some very nice gameplay enhancements and quality of life upgrades that make it worth checking out if you like decidedly retro shoot 'em up experiences.- PlayStation Country

Vampire Therapist manages to be a thoughtful delve into psychiatry whilst still remaining manageable for newcomers. Sam is a likeable character and the rest of the cast have plenty of energy to bring to the table. I do wish the locales were more varied and two mini-games don't carry any real consequence. The heart of the game is the conversations with clients and they are very well written. It's worth recommending for that insight alone and the peek behind the curtain.- PlayStation Country

The Legend of Tianding is a fun action platformer set in colonial era Taiwan. We had a whole lot of fun, but we just wish it was a tiny bit longer. The collectibles might seem like a chore but the fact they unlock new abilities and provide interesting background, we didn't begrudge them at all.- PlayStation Country

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is a very cosy farm builder that has a lot to offer. There's very little pressure to do everything but the farming has a compelling loop to it that kept me engaged. The calendar year can drag at times but there's always one more task you can engage with. It's satisfying to see the money come in and your farm grow, although sometimes you have to make your own long and short-term objectives.- PlayStation Country

Demoniaca is an interesting and unique mix of metroidvania exploration and deep fighting mechanics that benefits from much higher presentation standards than the usual 2D indie efforts. It's let down a bit by an unfriendly interface and clumsy platforming but it has enough depth and quality to make it worth trying.- PlayStation Country

88 Heroes makes a great first impression with its old-school platforming game mechanics and sense of humour. Ultimately, the gameplay and the jokes wear a little thin but this is still well worth checking out.- PlayStation Country

An impressively realised branching adventure game where your choices carry genuine weight. The first episode of The Council is well worth playing and we look forward to subsequent episodes.- PlayStation Country

Spooky Chase manages to execute on a fairly clever premise. The unpredictable nature of the game helps deliver something easy to grasp but potentially tricky to accomplish. The bonus items give you reason to persevere and return. There's not much on the periphery but it is mechanically intriguing and worth a look.- PlayStation Country

Sublevel Zero takes the lost six degrees of freedom genre, injects some roguelike elements and leaves you with an entertaining but very short shooter that knows how to give you just enough rope to hang yourself. This is a clever little arcade title and we’ve enjoyed it but there are questions over the value for money.- PlayStation Country

UNO Ultimate Edition is a great value proposition for new players, though existing players should be aware that it’s the same game as came out in 2016 with all the DLC included. It’s UNO at the end of the day so you can’t really go too far wrong.- PlayStation Country

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is a bit of a mess technically, and the open-world aspects aren’t fleshed out or particularly necessary but, and it’s a big but, if you can get past that, there’s a satisfying and tactical shooter here that sniping fans can really enjoy.- PlayStation Country

Rage 2 is a truly excellent shooter with big, beefy weapons and some huge, challenging battles to participate in. However, it is wrapped up in an open world which is quite bland and too generic to separate it from all the post-apocalyptic sandbox shooters that have come before it.- PlayStation Country

Hue is a unique puzzle platformer that will keep you entertained to its conclusion. There’s no real replay value but the design and the steady introduction of new obstacles make it worth a look if you’re a fan of the genre.- PlayStation Country

Go Mecha Ball offers up an impressive mix of twin-stick shooting and pinball and can be a lot of fun but it is let down by some under-developed upgrade mechanics and a level of difficulty that can often feel a little bit unfair at times.- PlayStation Country

ChromaGun VR is a competent and solid puzzle game but some may find it to be a little lacking in variety and excitement and the VR makeover doesn't really justify the additional purchase if you own the original.- PlayStation Country

Infinite Minigolf is a good stab at crazy golf in a virtual world. The online options elevate it and VR owners will enjoy the visuals but for a game with potentially endless content you may get bored of the simplistic gameplay after a while.- PlayStation Country

Mantis Burn Racing is a good example of the kind of arcade style racing that we wish was still popular. It has a lot to offer, if it can only get an audience, and while it may end up being more of a single player experience, the handling and track design make this a very worthwhile purchase for arcade racing fans.- PlayStation Country

Darkestville Castle is an appreciative, well-paced effort that should keep fans of adventure games happy. Whilst the puzzles can involve a lot of legwork and some oddball solutions, you're encouraged in the right directions and the world isn't expansive enough to get lost in. The structure feels tight and the writing is nicely executed, despite some of the visuals underwhelming.- PlayStation Country

Nightmares from the Deep 2: The Siren’s Call is a decent hidden object puzzle game and is pretty good at what it does. It has also improved on aspects of the earlier games by adding some much needed puzzle variety. This game is not going to appeal to everyone, but it does a great job of being a decidedly casual style of game to appeal to a more casual audience.- PlayStation Country

Let Them Come is an easy game to like with a simple, but strong, idea of blasting aliens out of a corridor. The visual flair and humour really make this an enjoyable game to play. Unfortunately the punishing bosses make for a harsh difficulty curve which will bring many up short. Whilst it may not be the longest of games, what is here is bags of fun.- PlayStation Country

Pirates Outlaws will be immediately familiar to Slay The Spire veterans in terms of gameplay but suffers from too wide a focus. Also not being able to save a lengthy run is pretty unforgivable. Its mobile roots are just that bit too evident too.- PlayStation Country

VRFC does a okay job of representing football in VR. The lack of single player, for now, is disappointing but running down the pitch with the ball at your feet and the goalmouth in your sights is thrilling. It's the infancy of VR itself that stops this becoming a true football experience but there is still fun to be had if you can find a game.- PlayStation Country

Knight’s Night! is a nice lo-fi platformer from eastasiasoft that isn’t quite the rinse you might expect. A nice difficulty curve that ramps up is part of the reason. It’s just a shame that the collectibles are merely window dressing as they have no effect on your progress. It’s not the most deep, but that’s just fine too.- PlayStation Country

Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom is another hidden object game and follows the same template laid down in other Artifex Mundi games. Where this game stands out from the crowd though is in the variety of puzzles on display and an interesting alchemy minigame.- PlayStation Country

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death has some interesting systems in place that stop what is a pretty gentle trek through the dungeons from getting tedious. Although the usual mobs won’t slow you down too much, the bosses require actual tactics and even if you do die there is no penalty for doing so. Just don’t expect to like the characters or what little story there is.- PlayStation Country

Geki Yabba Runner is a perfectly serviceable runner for the Vita. It has over a hundred levels and offers a ridiculous level of difficulty too. It’s presented really well and offers a decent overall package. For a quick blast every now and again Geki Yabba Runner is a lot of fun.- PlayStation Country

Darq is an incredibly atmospheric, if brief title about being a self-aware dreamer that is stuck in a nightmare. This game oozes spookiness with satisfying puzzles and Tim Burton-esque surrealism, but skimps on the actual horror elements which could have been its Darq’s marquee feature.- PlayStation Country

Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition forgoes some of the bells and whistles of the Playstation 5 platform for a port that's more straight forward. It's a sharper looking version but not an upgrade that really puts the old consoles to shame. For anyone new, this is a solid opportunity to discover a game with clever dungeon design, solid enough platforming and engaging combat. There is a surprising amount of craft n display for something that derives so much from other games.- PlayStation Country
