Well, at least it's a lot better than we thought it would be, with its fun gameplay mechanics, attractive visual style and well-developed multiplayer modes. F1 Race Stars is, however, a bit too repetitive and isn't as packed with content as we'd hoped, which makes it a little difficult to recommend.

While still being a great racing game, we were not too convinced by F1 2013. Yes, the career mode is properly fleshed-out (though we've seen it all before) and the classic mode is a nice addition to the franchise, though we could do without the weird paywall construction that demands players to pay extra for all the content. The visuals are also rather boring and the game's intro aims perhaps a bit too much at franchise rookies, which might annoy experienced players.

Depending on the people you're playing with, Werewolves Within is either an amazing social experience or a boring lonely one.

It's been a long time coming, but finally the Dying Light sequel is here. The parkour is refined, the combat is great and the city is lively enough to keep you entertained for a long time. There is also plenty to do in the game, but at the same time it is mainly more of the same without really big innovative steps forward. The first few hours are also disappointing and the visual modes do not offer a best of both worlds standard. A fine sequel, but perhaps a victim of too high expectations.

A surprisingly strong story carries you through this colourful adventure, that constantly manages to find new ways to keep the act of catching Bugsnax interesting. The graphics are a bit disappointing, though... but did that ever stop anyone from having a good time?

A 'greatest hits' collection of everything that made the series work. Unfortunately, that includes the annoying technical problems every episode has had to deal with up to now.

Proteus is a game without a clear goal. In fact, we're not sure whether there is a purpose to it at all. You're just wandering around a deserted island, that is generated at random for every new playthrough. Still, in a strange way, Proteus is very satisfying and not just because there are Trophies to earn. It's a bizarre, relaxed experience, though it definitely isn't for everyone.

A sublime atmosphere combined with a well thought out narrative along with the recurrence of moral dilemmas is Vampyr's biggest selling point. Combat leaves a little bit to be desired however and there is a fair amount of glitches to be found. If you can see past these things, then you'll have a grand ol' time with Vampyr.

Walking around in total darkness and making sounds so you can get a glimpse of your surroundings is the premise on which Tiny Bull builds this Virtual Reality title. It gives us a unique audiovisual experience which offers an interesting story and some fun puzzles for you to solve. Blind is worth your time if you can manage dealing with a couple of minor bugs and the fact that the puzzles lean heavily towards trial and error from time to time.

A new year, a new MotoGP games. Milestone brings you more of the same and that feels very good in terms of gameplay, because of the better mechanics. In addition, the addition of the 2009 season is very cool, which makes it worthwhile for fans. Still, the game lacks some things here and there. The multiplayer content is very limited and the AI sometimes does crazy things. No major problems, but there is room for improvement.

This game's a lot of fun, with the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode as the indisputable highlight. However, the controls aren't very precise, the camera can get quite frustrating and the visuals won't win any awards nowadays. It's good, but it could (and should) have been a lot better.

The ever-popular Wii Sports has been given a Switch adaptation and the result is a fine title. Several sports are great fun to play, including in multiplayer. The entry threshold is also very low, making it suitable for everyone. Know that the emphasis is on the multiplayer, because on your own it can get relatively boring after a few hours. Also, the price is a bit on the high side compared to the content the game offers.

Track Lab combines making music and solving puzzles into a very unique and entertaining title with excellent controls and lovely tunes which are sure to relax anybody. The amount of puzzles is somewhat limited and making music (in a separate game mode) is where the meat of Track Lab lies. Although you can spend hours and hours in this mode, you can't share any of your creations with anybody else oddly enough.

It's a bit short and the controls are at times quite clumsy, but that doesn't keep this visually unique and overall intriguing platforming experience from being highly recommendable.

Lo Wang's return is highly enjoyable, even though the controls aren't as responsive as they should be and the gameplay lacks variation. Ah well, you can't have everything, I suppose.

Ratchet & Clank return to their roots, though their "comeback" isn't exactly a homerun. You'll have a lot of fun with Nexus, to be sure, but certain aspects - some weapons are useless, there isn't any innovation to speak off and Clank's moments in the spotlight are more frustrating than enjoyable - could have been done better. In the end, fans will definitely want to get this, though newcomers should think twice.

Playing air guitar to familiar songs in virtual reality is a gift we didn't know we needed. It's a pretty fun game to experience which is partly due to the good tracklist, the different difficulty levels and the immersion. One downside: the explanations are somewhat random, which can make it confusing if you're just starting out. It is also a pity that there is no progression system in the game, which makes it more of a game for in between when you have nothing to do.

Interaction and PlayStation VR2 are synonymous, which the game Cosmonious High proves once again. Enter an intergalactic school and discover all your talents by taking part in a variety of activities. The game is packed with content and fun to keep you well entertained. A great game for PlayStation VR2, but it is a pity that there is no real challenge in the game and you really have to love the visual style.

Interesting and atmospheric, that’s Lost in Random in a nutshell. The unique combat system is also very much worth mentioning. The lack of variety and a number of technical issues do bring the experience down a bit.

The game clearly focuses on multiplayer; but strikingly, its singleplayer mode has a lot more to offer. Having said that, Star Wars: Squadrons is quite the stellar VR experience, a must-have for Star Wars and flying game fans alike.

RIDE 4's excellent sense of realism offers a pleasant experience to anyone with a passion for motor racing. There's quite a bit of content here too, with a diverse set of customization features that will keep you tinkering for a long time. Some hiccups do occur though, chief amongst them a rather unconvincing career mode.

It took awhile, but finally the west gets to experience Tales of Xillia. Overall, we'd say that's a good thing - even though the game knows its ups and downs. The style is intoxicating, but the presentation of it rather mediocre. The story is interesting, but rather slow. The depth of the gameplay is Tales of Xillia's biggest plus. It's by no means a perfect games, but we nevertheless recommend it. Fans of the Tales of... franchise shouldn't think twice.

Capcom gives its episodic Resident Evil game a proper send-off, though the uniquely constructed co-op mode is still dragged down somewhat by generic enemies and disappointingly standard level design.

There's a lot to love here, from GRID's expansive multiplayer modes to the game's ability to cater to your every whim and need. The lack of splitscreen multiplayer is disappointing though, as are the often lacklustre graphics and severely mediocre enemy AI.

Rainbow Six Extraction is a fun outing for the Rainbow Six franchise that does well with multiplayer. However, don't expect anything too special as it builds on a familiar event. Co-op play is advised, as it is the most fun and the atmosphere is also a plus, along with the challenge. At the same time, the missions are not too varied and there are some small bugs here and there. A decent game, fun to play, but nowhere very exceptional.

EA is back with a golf game and they don't hit a hole in one right away, but they do come off well. The game mainly stands out for its beautiful courses and smooth gameplay, which can provide hours of fun via the extensive career. The presentation of the sport, on the other hand, is a bit thin and visually the animations are a bit disappointing. Otherwise, the game has many small improvements to make. Nevertheless, it is a decent golf game that will entertain fans of the sport.
