Unravel Two offers solid gameplay a little bit too similar to the original with the added element of co-op. The audiovisual aspect deserves some recognition because the game looks and sounds great. The sequel obviously lacks the originality of the first game especially because many levels will feel familiar to those who played the first Unravel. The story isn't all that great either.

Copy pasted from Madden NFL 17, the 2018 edition of EA's American Football franchise doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel. Adding a story mode was a nice touch though and will no doubt keep fans happy for a while.

Once more, Minecraft: Story Mode delivers an enjoyable adventure. Jesse remains a truly engaging character and the rest of the cast also does everything in their power to keep you thoroughly endeared.

This intriguing tale will leave you wanting more... but you'll probably be a bit disappointed by the lack of interactivity and (for now) meaningful choices as well.

Finally, a PlayStation Move game that seems to matter. It's a bit too short and also a bit too simple, but in the end you will remember this colorful platform game as an enriching Move experience.

Total War: Pharaoh offers fun and challenging gameplay both online and offline. Graphically it is also quite enjoyable and the performance is excellent. However, the game lacks a bit of innovation and the voice-acting is a bit hit-or-miss. It's mostly more of the same within the series, and while that's not a bad thing, it can also feel like a lack of real progress. Despite that, a fine strategy game.

A musou as we have come to expect from Omega Force, but the developer transcends the repetitive gameplay by adding the necessary additional elements, making it much more interesting. The story is also very entertaining and there is plenty to do, if only the performance left a little to be desired. Visually, it is also mediocre. Nevertheless, it is an adventure that is worth playing, especially if you have played the previous installment.

The visuals aren't great and Gat out of Hell isn't exactly innovating, but Saints Row remains a highly enjoyable experience, due to its ideal combination of humour, action and open world activities. If you haven't played this before, it is definitely recommended.

A fine first entry of the franchise on the current console generation with great potential, though some technical mistakes, strange AI and a lack of modes keep it from receiving a higher score.

New Dawn is a good entry for the franchise, but as expected it doesn't deliver a complete new Far Cry experience. Instead Ubisoft builds further on Far Cry 5’s destroyed world and added some great RPG elements in the progress of it. This makes the game fresh and enjoyable, but because of the reused world and mission structure it may feel repetitive at times. The AI is unfortunately still a miss and the open-world may feel empty while exploring. When playing this game in co-op it will reach its full potential.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is a worthy addition to the series that excels in a engaging story with entertaining combat. At the same time, the game feels a bit outdated due to some mediocre level design and limited graphical splendor. These are some minor observations regarding the experience that is otherwise fine, especially for fans of the series.

A nice improvement on the previous game, definitely in the story and combat departments. If it weren't for a couple of boring parts, it might have received a much higher score. The lack of Japanese voice-acting isn't exactly a plus either.

An MMO without social obligations is a nice concept in and of itself. The story's decent and the gameplay amusing. Mediocre graphics put a bit of a damper on things though.

Persona 5 Tactica excels in terms of level design and fun quests, as well as solid gameplay. With that, it's a no brainer for fans of the series to purchase the game. We should note, however, that the story lacks depth and the social aspect. The game is also a lot more compact than other parts in the series, and while that is not necessarily a bad thing, it does feel a bit less complete than we are used to.

RAGE 2's unique visual style and genuinely fun gameplay mechanics ultimately outweigh a bit uninspired mission design, a disappointing story and at times flawed technical execution. If you can live with that, you'll absolutely have fun.

This game's strongest aspect is without question its captivating story. Too bad the quality of the voice acting is all over the place. Same goes for the character models which don't suit the rest of the graphical qualities. That being said, the game is a relatively short but entertaining title. If you own a PlayStation VR headset the game's creepy atmosphere is taken to a whole new level.

A fun point & click adventure that mainly stands out due to its visual style, it's humor, a great story and some good puzzles. You'd think that this would make for a classic game in its genre but unfortunately there is too little freedom in accomplishing the in-game goals. Technical hiccups interrupt the game on occasion, which is too bad.

Torn is a captivating puzzler which really finds a home in Virtual Reality due to pretty environments, great audio and excellent voice-acting. The game stutters from time to time and audio sometimes gets cut off towards the end. And although the puzzles themselves are pretty basic in design, the overall experience is a very positive one.

Often hilarious and always cute, Journey to the Savage Planet is an enjoyable adventure game that offers exploration and platform gameplay in spades. Some bugs dampen the fun a bit, but that's hardly worth complaining about.

Aloy's new adventure features a beautiful open world that invites immediate exploration. The many missions and side quests make it a delightful experience, thanks in part to the variety of enemies. In addition, the story is very compelling, but we can't ignore the fact that the game is not yet completely polished after the day one patch. There are many bugs and technical issues that can be annoying and that is a shame, but there is no doubt that the adventure in itself is more than worth it.

Extremely gory, at times damn creepy and masterfully designed... but also unbalanced, confusing and relying on trial & error throughout most of its admittedly long runtime.

Playing this shooter solo is considerably less fun than playing coop. That being said, the action is entertaining enough and the commentary fits the mayhem perfectly. The game also has longevity thanks to some extra modes which make for a complete and fun title. Lack of couch coop is incomprehensible though and there are some puzzles which are far too easy and some battles which are too long-winded.

If you're looking for innovation, you'll find yourself in the wrong place. If you want more of the same, however, you can't go wrong with WRC 9. Be careful though... there's enough bugs and crashes here to at times ruin the experience a bit.

NBA 2K19 is still king of the hill thanks to phenomenal animations, tremendous gameplay and a slew of game modes that will last you for a long time. That being said, there is still the issue of long load times and the blatant push towards micro transactions which really takes away from the core experience.

A diamond in the rough, though one that's definitely worth playing in co-op. When you're on your own, however, the lacklustre AI and the inability to progress through the game will definitely put a damper on things...

This game that serves as a spin-off of the Bayonetta series dishes out a fun story dressed up with a charming and colorful visual style. In terms of gameplay, there is plenty to explore, were it not for the fact that the game is on the easy side and therefore not really challenging. Also, the camera can be annoying at times and so no and then it looks a bit blurry. Points to consider, but for the rest a solid title.

The French Revolution gets a twist in Steelrising thanks to the addition of the Automatons and an alternative take on history. The game manages to present an at times engaging story and the main character is very cool. In terms of gameplay, there is plenty to enjoy, but this is somewhat disrupted by some flaws, which can be annoying. As are other minor bugs, such as dropped sound. Points that stand out, but are made up for by the otherwise fine combat and variety of enemies and environments.

Ad Infinitum is characterized by its strong atmosphere and engaging story, which keeps you playing. The few puzzles in the game round out the gaming experience in a positive way, even if it is not entirely technically sound. For example, there are several bugs that can be somewhat a bit annoying at times, and the frame rate is not stable either. Nevertheless, the overall experience of Ad Infinitum nis quite special, making it worthwhile for fans of psychological horror.

Porting the game to the PlayStation 4 after a successful PC Kickstarter project pays off relatively well. Although the controls aren't really suited to the DualShock controller the story managed to captivate us. The game is challenging and the voice-acting is solid. Combat can sometimes be a drawn-out borefest and the game suffers from repetitiveness somewhat but generally you won't mind since it still manages to entertain.

The Crew: Motorfest is exactly what you expect if you have played the previous parts. A large, open environment to race around in is never boring. The game is rich with vehicles and various activities, good for dozens of hours of fun. It is notable, however, that the side activities exceed the number of races in volume, which is a somewhat odd balance. Also, the ghosts of other (AI) racers are confusing and the menu is chaotic, but that does not take anything away from the fact that there is a lot of fun to be had in this game.
