Being a virtual hunter probably requires just as much patience as hunting animals in real life because the pacing in this game is slow. Call of the Wild caters to a very specific audience but that doesn't make the game less fun. Hunting different types of animals in varied and large environments makes this game a treat. Audiovisually, the game has its fair share of technical hickups and the side missions are pretty bland overall but apart from those minor gripes, this is a fine title.- PlaySense

Finally this tower defense game, which already appeared for the PSP and the PS3 earlier on, becomes available for the PlayStation Vita. The graphics are slightly more detailed and the touch features work fine, so if you haven't bought this game for any of the other systems yet, you should definitely give this version a try.- PlaySense

A spectacular singleplayer and enjoyable Zombies mode will keep you going for a while. The multiplayer is business as usual, but lacks the X-factor that made Black Ops III such a treat.- PlaySense

A solid fighter that will keep you busy for a long time, even if the game's online features and the story mode's low difficulty curve are a bit disappointing.- PlaySense

Treyarch delivers. The single player is substantial and engaging. The Zombies mode is familiar entertainment full of gameplay fun and the multiplayer is solid. The overall package is well cared for, looks good and sounds excellent. In short, a game you can buy blind as an enthusiast, although they still have some work to do because of bugs and spawn points, which are not optimal.- PlaySense

A strong sense of atmosphere, augmented by spectacular graphics and challenging puzzles, turns The Room VR: A Dark Matter into a must-play title for VR-owners. You should, however, keep into account that the motion controller doesn't always work perfectly when turning.- PlaySense

With this new golf game, 2K Games takes the franchise to an even higher level. EvoSwing is a good gameplay element and it is fun to be able to create your own courses. More importantly, the entry level for beginners is fine, but it's also great for pros. Graphically it is a step forward and the MyCareer mode is also heading in the right direction. Although the game wants to crash sporadically, and adding gameplay improvements to the Premium Pass is a somewhat curious choice that somewhat encourages pay-to-win.- PlaySense

Sea of Thieves on the PlayStation 5 is a game that absolutely holds its own. Playing especially a crew is incredibly fun and there is plenty to do and explore. You also get plenty of customization options and the combat is very cool, although it does feel a bit stiff. Too bad is the graphical pop-in and the somewhat repetitive structure of missions, but if you look past that, a wonderful adventure awaits you.- PlaySense

We didn't get our hopes up for this one. Call of Juarez: The Cartel was terrible and we didn't expect Techland to get out of their downward spiral. They did, however. Gunslinger is repetitive and the enemy AI is an embarrassment, but the game is still a lot of fun. The story is interesting, the shoot-outs are epic and the environments quite beautiful. Not bad at all.- PlaySense

If not for the weak story, we'd hardly have anything negative to say about this one. Hitman 2 surprises with an absurd number of kill options, that keep the game interesting to play for what almost literally amounts to forever.- PlaySense

With the charm Alien Breed had in 1991, it returns in 2013. It weathered the test of time without failure, when it once again knows to win us over for another go – and now even on the go on PlayStation Vita. The levels are endlessly replayable, so you get the most out of your money’s worth buying this game.- PlaySense

Atomfall presents you with an engaging setting containing exciting situations and interesting gameplay. Because the game is non-linear in structure, the experience will be different for each player, which gives Atomfall a unique twist. Add to that good voice-acting and varied soundtrack and the complete adventure is very solid. Though you should expect some cumbersome combat, less-than-perfect stealth and some inconsistent stealth, that's no reason to skip the game though.- PlaySense

This game is better than its predecessor in every way imaginable. More options in the track editor, no more frame drops and several other interesting enhancements. Load times do remain a general issue whenever Milestone develops a game and Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 2 is no exception. If you dig motocross though, you'll be hard pressed to find a better title at the moment.- PlaySense

There are some minor annoyances - long loading times and weird bugs, to name a few - but other than that, Milestone finally gets their rally formula right. Get your helmets on, folks. This is going to be a wild, if sometimes a little bumpy ride.- PlaySense

The story in Silent Hill 2 is rock solid, which is partly due to the excellent voice-acting. The revamped boss fights, soundtrack and visual presentation are also excellent. In that respect, the remake is more than successful, although we must point out that the combat can become somewhat repetitive due to the much longer duration of the game, and the resolution and frame rate are not stable either. Some points to consider, but otherwise Bloober Team does an excellent job here.- PlaySense

A decent follow-up to Retro City Rampage, Shakedown Hawaii manages to succeed thanks to its unique visual style and arcady action gameplay. It gets a bit repetitive after a while, but don't let that stop you.- PlaySense

With Cronos: The New Dawn, Bloober Team has crafted a brilliant survival horror title, with a unique premise, an intriguing story, and a truly captivating setting. The Orphans are a challenging enemy that not only keeps you on the edge of your seat but also forces you to carefully manage every bullet. The varied way you explore the world also deserves praise. It's clear the studio wanted to push the creative envelope. Unfortunately, the technical side of things is far from perfect, with graphics that aren't always convincing and a frame rate that occasionally dips. Don't let that deter you, though. Cronos: The New Dawn is more than worth your hard-earned money and precious time.- PlaySense

Fun, old school gameplay with over the top action, beautiful dunks and awesome power-ups. The game has quite a lot of content to offer and is a lot of fun to play with other people. Because you need to have two players from one same team in order to properly begin playing NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 (players are handed out at random), the game gets off to a slow start. A drawback is the micro transaction heavy online multiplayer which dampens the fun, but nevertheless NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is a very fun game to play.- PlaySense

Sine Mora certainly isn't for everyone. It's a relatively oldschool game and it's pretty challenging. The story doesn't amount to much and the lack of a cross-buy feature also doesn't work in Sine Mora's favor, but apart from that, the game is a lot of fun.- PlaySense

This game dishes out an interesting mythology that is complemented by a deep combat system, so it never gets bored easily. The colorful levels and high fun content then finish it off. Mind you, the game has some graphical glitches and the co-op feature feels a bit superfluous, considering it adds nothing and comes across as somewhat lazy. That said, Evil West is a more than excellent game in its own right.- PlaySense

This is quite a different adventure than we've come to expect from Nathan Drake and his cohorts, but that doesn't make it a bad game. Playing the Uncharted card game is actually a lot of fun. It's accessible and has enough content to remain in your PlayStation Vita for a long time to come.- PlaySense

Fan of Borderlands? Then it should come as no surprise that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is worth your time. The game brings the familiar gameplay of the franchise, but in a more absurd situation that suits the hilarious character well. The humor is back, the co-op is very cool and the gameplay is as fine as ever. However, the game is rather safe, because despite new elements such as the multi-class system, it is not really groundbreaking and graphically it could have been better. Apart from that, it is a title you will definitely enjoy.- PlaySense
