    Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion
    The return of a PSP classic we could not have wished for better. The graphics upgrade is very pleasant and the performance is excellent. In addition, the combat system is more than fluid and the New Game+ option is a welcome addition. Add to that a compelling story and characters and you have a must have up your sleeve. That the development regarding the latter is sometimes not deep enough is a bit of a shame, as are the here and there outdated animations, but that is fine to take for granted in this excellent remaster that is more than a graphical polish.

    Marvel's Midnight Suns
    Any fan of Marvel can get Midnight Suns without a doubt. Its many references to the MCU, well-written characters and in-depth gameplay mechanics make it a pleasure to play. The game is also packed with content, so you won't get bored easily. It is unfortunate, however, that it is not very strong graphically, but that should not be a reason to pass up the game. Recommended.

    Resident Evil 3
    It's more of the same. That means more of the white-knuckle-gameplay that made Resident Evil 2 such a tense and often scary experience. It's a bit less scary than its predecessor though, due to a regular emphasis on spectacle and a quick succession of levels that hardly ever leaves the payer time to let things soak in. Still great, just not quite the level of outstanding we got last year around.

    Titanfall 2
    The story lacks depth, but the connection between the player and his Titan is worth the journey. The multiplayer, however, is almost worth the price tag on its own.

    Super Mario Bros. Wonder
    The design of the levels, the variety, the gameplay, the soundtrack, the visual presentation.... Nintendo delivers with Super Mario Bros. Wonder a delightful 2D platformer that can safely be called a must have. Although for hardcore fans it is a bit on the easy side, so it could have been more challenging. In addition, some gameplay features are not all meaningful or useful, but that aside.

    Company of Heroes 3 is bursting at the seams with content. It is a total package with something for everyone. Rarely do you get so much for so little.

    Valley
    A walking simulator that's very much worth playing, Valley sports wonderful environments, intuitive gameplay and a brilliant soundtrack. To top it all of, this game's story is memorable almost to a fault.

    PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
    The PS3 version received a well-deserved high score and the same goes for the Vita edition. The game plays great, the characters are well-balanced and there's an awesome amount of content. The loading times are rather long and there's a few minor hick-ups here and there, but overall PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale remains a must-buy, even on Vita.

    Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
    Drake's Fortune starts to show its age, but other than that, this is a fine collection of one of the greatest franchises the PlayStation brand has ever produced. If you haven't played these yet, then what are you waiting for?

    Split Fiction
    Hazelight does it again: delivering a brilliant co-op experience that is full of variety in environments and gameplay. The compelling story captivates from start to finish and the challenge is more than fine. If you enjoyed this developer's previous games, Split Fiction certainly won't disappoint. The overall package is more than fine, although it could have had just a little more interaction for that finishing touch. But that's just a minor detail.

    F1 2020
    The newest virtual F1 iteration will keep you playing for a long time, thanks mainly to its deep, yet accessible gameplay and the added splitscreen feature. The MyTeam mode is worth mentioning as well, because it’s a great addition. Less impressive are the graphics and audio design (some commentator bugs and interviews); these aspects of the game leave some room for improvement next year.

    Assassin's Creed Odyssey
    Assassin's Creed has never been bigger or more ambitious, with an equally enormous and captivating world filled to the brim with stuff to do. Over time it may get a bit repetitive though and the actual creed of the assassins has been put in the background, which long time fans may feel let down by.

    Degrees of Separation
    A surprisingly entertaining platformer which creatively throws some puzzle solving your way. The balance between the platforming and puzzle solving sections feels just right. Add to that a very pleasant audiovisual style and you really cannot fault Degrees of Separation in any way. If we're pushing for criticisms, the precision required when solving some puzzles might be the only minor gripe we could think of but that's really all. Great fun and highly recommended.

    Yoku's Island Express
    The weird mix of platforming and pinball works wonderfully well which is completely unexpected. The result is an entertaining title which sets itself apart due to its distinctive visuals and while the physics can get a bit wonky from time to time, the amount of content is considerable. An original title and a lot of fun guaranteed.

    It's brief and technically imperfect, but still... Blood & Truth is one hell of a memorable action fest. Diverse and action-packed gameplay gets supplemented by interesting and well-acted characters, turning Blood & Truth into a must-buy for PS VR owners.

    Fire Emblem Engage
    Fire Emblem Engage is a title that presents you with an entertaining story and unique characters. Add to that tactical and in-depth combat, creating an excellent whole. This is complemented by colorful graphics and good audio. That the social aspects are limited and the activities in the central hub Somniel are not that engaging should be taken for granted, because the rest of the game is more than fine.

    Fun gameplay, strong dialogue and interesting visuals... if the other episodes continue in the same vein, this will be a series to keep a close eye on.

    YIIK: A Postmodern RPG
    A weird game in terms of concept but a good one nonetheless. If you grew up in the’90’s, there is a ton of references to that era. The length of the game is outstanding as well which makes for great value for money. The controls aren’t perfect all the time though and the music tracks can get a little bit repetitive but don’t let that stop you from purchasing what is a very original and fun game.

    Gran Turismo 6
    Gran Turismo 6 is an improvement over its predecessor. The career mode has received a better structure, the physics are more realistic, the loading times are shorter, etc. It's everything you could expect from a Gran Turismo game, including a severely incompetent AI and disappointing damage mechanics.

    Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
    Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an ambitious title and Platinum Games delivers! The resulting game is pure hack & slash, filled with interesting features like the Blade mode and the Jack the Ripper mode, that manage to make the game feel fresh and, at times, even unique. It's a joy from beginning to end and even though Revengeance isn't a long game by any stretch of the word, you won't regret spending any of your hard-earned money on it.
