There's potential here... which makes Raiders of the Broken Planet's failure all the more heartbreaking. The hardest pill to swallow? A close call between the lacklustre matchmaking, the game's unrelenting focus on grinding and the lack of clear instructions. Shame.- PlaySense

This game might just be too odd for its own good. The story is a bit ridiculous, the gameplay repetitive beyond comprehension and overall quite lacking. The hacking and slashing part works fine, though an unhealthy amount of frame drops and weird camera angles make for an overall very frustrating experience.- PlaySense

Although the gameplay and the audio design are nicely done, we didn't walk away with a very positive feeling with regards to Generation Zero. The world around you is dull and uninspired and hardly offers any variation. The amount of graphical bugs and glitches is enormous. The way the story is presented left us feeling cold and that's a shame really because the game definitely has potential.- PlaySense

A shooter with a lot of potential which turns out to be a soulless, repetitive and boring husk of a game. Graphically it looks alright and shooting stuff up is fun for a while but you'll soon be thinking about better things you could have been doing instead. The immersion is completely broken due to not being able to move around freely. While conceptually a great idea, Bravo Team's execution falls short and that is a shame.- PlaySense

Combat is entertaining as usual and the flashbacks to the older animes are cool enough but that's about it in terms of positives. Load times are too long, customization options are very limited, there is no storyline, not enough levels, a poor camera implementation and we could go on. Fans and newcomers alike, leave this one be.- PlaySense

A facile re-release of an older game in a new look with some new characters. The performance is also pleasant, but the rest is all mediocre. The new story mode is boring, the online functionality sucks and the English dubbing is a drama. The game also lacks any real noteworthy additions. A disappointment.- PlaySense

The gameplay of this new installment, like others in the franchise, is fun, thanks in part to its engaging theme. The fact is, however, that the execution leaves quite a bit to be desired. For example, the graphics are from 10 years back, the performance is a disaster and the addition of political elements does not really work. Ignore it.- PlaySense

Although MindsEye brings varied missions and entertaining situations to the action, thanks in part to solid acting, the final quality is below par. The frame rate is dramatic, the game has many bugs, the AI is stupid, there are many graphical glitches and we could go on and on. There is really nothing wrong with Anthem's core gameplay. But as much as we appreciated the use of the Javelins and the overall gunplay, it just feels as though the rest of the game is unfinished. A tremendous amount of annoying bugs with random disconnects all the time, weird design choices, poor end game content, uninteresting loot and we could go on. There is loads of potential here but that will require a large amount of effort on the developer's part. In its current state, Anthem is simply an unfinished product that we cannot recommend.- PlaySense

A fun title geared towards younger players. Unfortunately the game is plagued by lazy design which results in ugly menus, power-ups that aren' t thought out very well, lack of an online multiplayer and characters that communicate through text balloons instead of through speech. Inversion has a great premisse, an interesting story and an overall solid control scheme. This, however, isn't enough to save the game from mediocrity. Island Time VR's mascot Carl (voiced by Kinda Funny's Greg Miller) can't save this game from mediocrity. The game doesn't belong on PlayStation VR as it painfully reminds us of the platform's well-known technical limitations such as limited tracking capabilities and limited control options. The game often feels unfair because of the lackluster controls and when repetition sets in, you wish you were playing something else instead. The price for PlayStation users is higher than the PC version with no optimization to show for it which is inexcusable.- PlaySense

Redfall brings a pretty nice visual style and the setting is also very strong in concept, complemented by a good atmosphere. But that's where it stops in terms of good news. Indeed, in execution, the setting is somewhat dull and more problematic are the many technical and graphical problems. A South Park game is always welcome, and Ubisoft has shown how to do it. THQ Nordic, on the other hand, is showing how not to do it. The levels are rather simplistic, the combat is stiff, it gets repetitive very quickly and the game has difficulty spikes. Massira tries to tell a story about how being a refugee feels. This could potentially make for a highly original and creative game, but unfortunately Massira is neither. The cut scenes in this game are well made and a sight to behold but that's the only positive aspect to Shaq-Fu. Gameplay is a drag and the script is absolutely terrible. Audio visually this game is a throwback to the early 00's and believe it or not but this title actually plays worse than the original. Even if this was done intentionally, we didn't appreciate it.- PlaySense

There are fun things to do with Gollum in a game by itself, but everything failed with The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. The controls do not feel right, the level design is outdated, the music does not match situations, visually it is very inconsistent and we could go on and on. Better is just the short conclusion: avoid this game.- PlaySense

A brave attempt to try something new in the action-RPG genre which ultimately fails in delivering due to boring combat, poor graphics, uninspired levels, balancing issues and struggling gameplay. Do not buy this game.- PlaySense

What a horrible game. Combat is stiff and unpleasant. The badly positioned camera constantly gets on your nerves. Where to go and what to do is totally unclear. Bosses are uninspired and no fun at all. Everything in this game screams 'ignore me!' so that's our advice to you. Do not buy this game - you have been warned!- PlaySense

Oh how we wish we could've just replayed Dead Space or Alien: Isolation instead of this pile of junk. Syndrome tries to do those sources of inspiration justice... And fails on every possible level.- PlaySense

A deaf protagonist. A quiet man. A thundering silence, as you sneak by this game unnoticed, leaving its abysmal contents to the vultures.- PlaySense

It's unbelievable that this broken mess of a game appears on the PlayStation Network in this basically unplayable state. It's worse if you consider the steep asking price. Steer clear.- PlaySense
