Star Ocean: The Second Story R is a true delight for the fans of the series, skillfully recreating one of the best titles the franchise had to offer. But if you weren’t a fan of the original game, there's a high chance you won't particularly enjoy this one either. The game features intriguing characters and their relationships, beautiful graphics and a diverse world. Yet, the story lacks depth, and the somewhat clunky combat system is likely to divide the audience into those who love it and those who wouldn’t even want to touch it.

Even though it’s not a perfect game, Total War: Warhammer 3 is indeed very close to the ultimate Total War experience. The diverse factions, the epic campaign and the vast, beautiful world are guaranteed to draw you in and keep you in for at least a few hundred hours.

Returnal is a fast-paced third person action roguelite that will test your skills and reflexes. However, the PC port is an unoptimized mess that will deter skilled players from playing due to the abundance of frame stuttering and constant crashes. A beautiful and fun game, hindered by lazy optimization.

Do not let the screenshots turn you away. Pony Island is a genuinely smart game which manages to surprise you all the way through its short running time. "One trick pony" this is not.

A deeper, more meaningful story makes this game the most emotional in the series. Numerous systems and mechanics, living and breathing biomes and loads of content sure are welcome, but may prove to be too overwhelming for a casual player. It feels like an overclock of the franchise, while it would benefit more from a true upgrade.

MLB The Show 19 is another addition to the series that improves on all of its aspects and provides full quality of life updates and some interesting new modes.

Resident Evil is back to its roots and in combination with immersive VR experience, it truly brings the best out of horror survival genre.

Without a doubt, one of the best action games of this year, a must-buy for Xbox gamers. The series is stronger than ever and we can't wait to see where it will go next.

The PC version brings all that was great about the original, plus some additional technical problems we did not expect to see after an excellent Final Fantasy XV PC port. Even though many of these problems can be easily fixed if you know how to google and are not afraid of mods, the lack of graphical upgrades and options still disappoints those who expected something more. But all of this still can’t be enough to diminish the final verdict, and this game remains to be an amazing title no one should miss, no matter which platform you choose to play it on.

A rhythm game that’s closer to the survival horror genre than other music games, Thumper is an incredibly mesmerizing, oppressive, dark and often scary descent into hell.

If we had to pick a definitive steampunk space robot pirates tactical role playing strategy game, this one would have to take the cake. You will lose quite a lot of hours in SteamWorld Heist.

If spooky, cartoony, fun and charming action, full of puzzles and mystery is your cup of tea - drink no further! If you loved the first and second one, jump right in. If you didn't play those, go and play them, then jump right in. This is a perfectly balanced treat for any fan of the cutesy horror, that perhaps only Nintendo can deliver. An absolute joy of a game, you should not dare miss.

A logical evolution of the formula, Titanfall 2 is everything we wanted from the original game and more, a solid foundation that will be built upon for months to come.

Might not be the greatest game of all time, but it probably is the best game in the most quality maintaining JRPG series of all time. Is that even better? Could be! Do not miss this gorgeous yet pretty nostalgic game set in a well known universe of the Dragon Quest franchise.

Octopath Traveler II is amazing in every way, yet tarnished by the fact that it is a sequel to an excellent title, which brings next to no improvements to the table. Charming graphics, stunning music and great stories still make this a great experience. Just one bit less surprising than the original was five years ago.

Destiny enters its second year stronger than ever. The fans will finally have a chance to experience Bungie's vision in a much more polished game overall.

Returnal is a must-play and a first perfect true next-gen experience that utilizes all that Sony has marketed for its new console. A sci-fi third-person shooter that uses its roguelite attribute in combination with its time loop story that surprises with its originality and surpasses the expectations by far.

A lot of new possibilities and features, new and improved UI, and good old contagious gameplay.

One of the best remasters we've seen so far, Day of The Tentacle Remastered retains everything that made the original release brilliant, avoiding the trend of changing the formula that works so well.

A definitive edition for the Central Fiction, lands on the Switch. And with it, most probably grabs the award for the best fighting game on the platform! It is a superb title you should not miss, if you are into the genre or simply want to give genre a chance.

The latest addition to the Assassin's Creed franchise is truly a wonder and a fresh take on a stale idea. The excellent execution, gameplay and story is only overshadowed by greedy micro transactions, paid XP and awful optimization.

It’s buggy and flawed on many technical (but very fixable) levels, but Cyberpunk 2077 is a unique and beautiful experience on almost all other levels. All in all – a masterpiece.

Cairn is a brutally demanding yet strangely soothing climbing experience that turns every movement into a meaningful decision. Its unique limb-based controls and meditative pacing create a powerful sense of immersion, even as its punishing difficulty and sparse checkpoints test your patience. If you're willing to endure the struggle, the mountain offers one of the most memorable journeys in recent indie games.

Sparks of Hope improves on the original in almost every aspect. Great characters, a well-designed mysterious world, enjoyable combat and loads of puzzles to solve make this one of the best collab games we’ve seen in a long time.

A fun and interesting premise, that makes you play "just one more day“, shines in co-op but frustrates in single player mode.

Such a simple, and yet such an amazing game. Among Us puts the crew of astronauts against an Impostor who looks the same as other players, but is on a task to sabotage and murder everyone. Gameplay works perfectly and can easily break a few friendships.

Echoes of Wisdom proves that Zelda can be a true protagonist of its titular franchise. It’s maybe a bit slower when it comes to pacing, or a bit less engaging when it comes to combat, but it’s truly a title that feels like one of the building blocks of Hyrule Castle. A nice break while we’re waiting for a bigger, mainline entry that hopefully won’t take long.
