Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a great title hindered by the corporate sickness of releasing unpolished games. It is riddled with performance issues, even on consoles and the strongest of PCs. Despite all of these problems, Survivor is still a masterpiece. It is truly one of the best Star Wars games out there, but given its current state, it would be a good idea to wait until the most glaring issues are solved.- PLAY! Zine

Starfield represents the first big Bethesda entry as an Xbox exclusive (better late than never), and it's a good one. While it is not completely ‘’bug free’’, the developers put a lot of work and passion into it. It might not be the most unique RPG ever, but it still offers an unforgettable experience backed with Bethesda's long history and expertise.- PLAY! Zine

Esoteric Ebb is a remarkably confident CRPG that wears its Disco Elysium inspiration on its sleeve while delivering exceptional writing and meaningful player choice. Though not entirely original, its execution is polished, thoughtful, and often brilliant. One of the strongest narrative-driven RPGs in recent years.- PLAY! Zine

An honest, sometimes even painful, story about friendship and finding yourself. Life is Strange is played with a lump in the throat and its ability to make a grown man tear up is its true "power".- PLAY! Zine

DOOM: The Dark Ages is a safe and simple downgrade of the Doom franchise. As Eternal makes you think about your every choice and move, feeling like a fighter jet, The Dark Ages wants you to feel like a tank, made of Styrofoam. While the parry mechanics are extremely important and play a big role in the game, the gunplay is easily overshadowed. Music is tame, repetitive and is not memorable in the slightest. Mick Gordon is surely missing. With the asking price of 80 euros, I would stay away as far as possible from this game or at least play it on Game Pass.- PLAY! Zine

Frostpunk 2 is a vividly different game from its predecessor that functions as a fully fledged sequel, and that narratively follows its change of mechanics. It is more of a social simulator than a survival city builder, but it still poses as a great and decision heavy experience that will test your moral values at every step.- PLAY! Zine

Control is one weird, surreal and astonishing experience. While it is lacklustre in some areas of gameplay and possesses some performance issues, it is a prime example in environmental storytelling and clever subtle narrative that encounters some thought-provoking themes.- PLAY! Zine

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is one of the most fun and compelling voxel and creative experiences the genre can afford to a player. Even though it fails to use some of its features, as a co-op, and it possesses some smaller misconceptions here and there, it truly is a fascinating building RPG experience with the amount of content to provide you dozens upon dozens of hours of fun.- PLAY! Silent Hill f marks a bold new step for the series and a clear sign of Konami’s return to AAA games. The Japanese setting feels fresh, while the atmosphere, visuals and psychological horror stay true to the franchise’s identity. Despite some technical issues and uneven combat, the game delivers a strong story and an unsettling experience that fans of the genre will surely appreciate.- PLAY! Zine

This has got to be the best "souls" clone yet. It is perfectly balanced, has tons of customization and improvement options, a great character editor and hundreds of satisfying challenges that will get you to improve, with each step you take. Weaker story and several minor flaws, do reduce the perfect score, but this is still a strong "9 - I would die again!"- PLAY! Zine

"Switcher" may sound like a pun, but it's real as a Succubi breast! One of the most renowned RPG titles of all time now goes portable. Lower rendering and texture resolution and weaker performance are a small price to pay for such an experience on the go. Make sure to get this, and get it physical, as its whopping 29 gigabytes of required free space can truly be too much for some of the Switch owners out there.- PLAY! Zine

Skate Story is a surreal, visually striking skateboarding experience that blends precise mechanics with a poetic journey through the underworld. Its intentionally cryptic narrative is elevated by a powerful atmosphere and an exceptional soundtrack. Far removed from traditional skate games, it stands out as one of the most distinctive releases of 2025.- PLAY! Zine

Pikmin 3 Deluxe brings back the beloved game and improves it on many fields. Better controls, more cooperative options and new story pieces to name a few. It does not enhance the game in visual terms enough to call it an improvement, yet if you wanted to go back to the Pikmin 3 or to experience it for the first time, this is the definitive version of the game to date.- PLAY! Kirby and the Forgotten Land manages to bring the charm of the series into the tridimensional world. While some of its mechanics and level design have trouble evolving in order to remain accessible to the less skilled players, the game holds ground as a remarkably fun and atmospheric adventure. An absolute recommendation to all the Kirby fans, but also to those that seek some lighthearted fun that one can never truly have enough of.- PLAY! Zine
