F1 2019 is another great instalment to the ongoing Codemasters’ franchise of F1 games. Although it presents a bulk of quality of life updates, short story mode, and F2 license, it still isn’t much of a big upgrade from last year.

After 200 years in cryostasis you will find everything in ruins, beasts and monsters (human and nonhuman alike) run amok and there are more weapons than in a Michael Bay movie. In short it is a vivid world to explore in which no one can hold a decent dialogue.

The Drifter is an amazing point-and-click adventure game that forces you to think fast in order to save the protagonist from a deadly fate. Aside from engaging puzzles, the game stands out thanks to its thrilling story, full of mystery and emotion.

Even without massively crowded areas, the sheer scale of Sapienza is well worth the entry price for Agent 47's second episodic outing. It is a welcome improvement over the first episode, although still far from greatness we expect from Hitman games.

It is an all-around great new instalment in FIFA series, and Journey mode is a great experience.

While looking gorgeous and dripping with atmosphere, Ender Lilies may not be the greatest metroidvania when it comes to level design and combat. Thankfully, it is easy to overlook if you are not of the nitpicking kind. But still, make sure to use the game’s momentum while it lasts, since a number of its bumps may spoil the ride for some players out there.

Super Mario RPG is almost an ideal remake. It polishes a few flaws of the original but manages to preserve the core experience. It screams with all the retro colors, which makes it unbelievably refreshing for the modern age of gaming.

Despite the lack of improvements and changes since the last year’s installment, I won't be too harsh on FM24. Sports Interactive announced some big changes for next year, and if this is the last hoorah for this version of Football Manager, they can be very happy with what they have accomplished so far.

Remastered edition is mostly made for new players, but it is still Dark Souls, one of the best action RPG-s in history.

If you like great stories and immersive world building, with little to no gameplay, this is a game for you.

The king of Metroidvanias is finally here with a new title. A few bugs and weird animations will not prevent it from sitting on the throne.

Ghost of Tsushima is a flawed game. But, at the same time, it is as much as innovative, remarkable and one of the best atmospheric games of all time. It has its problems with camera and repetitive activities, but its beautiful open-world, innovative interaction with it and overall great story and one of the tightest combat systems are the sendoff for PS4 anyone would ask for.

This game is a true little gem from Taiwan. Its unobtrusive horror atmosphere and unique storytelling will make you remember this game forever.

Metro Exodus Complete Edition is the tightest and one of the most beautiful atmospheric and visual experiences you can afford. It is a truly artistic masterpiece that is helped by a solid story and excellent level design. It may be a bit tough and unfitting for certain audiences due to its slow gameplay and big surroundings that may take a long time to get around.

Triangle Strategy is an excellent addition to the genre, but it might be a disappointment for fans who were expecting a FFT or a Tactics Ogre Clone. The story is great, the replayability is high, and the gameplay is almost completely devoid of grind, but it still might be a turn-off for some players because of its steep price.

If Heavenly Sword had an opposite, it would without a doubt be Hellblade. A dark, gritty, psychotic, atmospheric hell-ride through the forest of insanity. It looks great but plays like a gloomy record. Not everyone will enjoy this dark adventure. But what it does, it does great. Maybe even too great, if I may say so.

One of the best carting games in history is back in its full glory, more beautiful than ever, and a lot of new maps and (FREE) cosmetics to customise your characters and vehicles.

A grand finale that summarizes one of the most legendary waits for a video game sequel - ever, and really does a fine job! Kingdom Hearts III is a complex yet perfectly lite experience story-wise, packed with amazing combat and adorable worlds and characters. It is a game that lives up to the Kingdom Hearts name and is something you should not miss, whether you are a long term fan or new to the franchise.

Zombies, multiplayer and battle royale. Black Ops 4 is whole package. With great blackout map, brutal and honest action, it will put all competition in danger. Standard multiplayer suffers from old issues, but is fun enough to guarantee tons of fun. Zombies are brilliant and refreshed with new Rush mod. Lack of single player campaign still hurts though.

The game that is borderline uncomfortable to play or even look at, Devil Daggers is a hellish nightmare in which its inhabitants and sounds will keep haunting you, but you’ll keep returning to it, trying to stay there for just a moment longer.

Battlefield 6 feels like a return to form for the series, blending chaotic, fast-paced battles with moments of real tactical depth. The maps are fun but often smaller than expected, pushing a faster, more aggressive style of play. Vehicles feel satisfying, each class has a clear role, and the new tactical hammer adds creative ways to interact with the environment. Portal mode is a joy, letting you remix old favorites and craft your own mayhem. Despite some balance quirks, it’s an energetic, highly enjoyable shooter — and I can’t wait to see how the game evolves in the future.

More crazy stunts, more insane moves, more awesome weapons.

A brilliant return to the golden age of arcade fighting games, this collection brings together eight carefully selected 2D and 3D classics. Beyond the excellent lineup, the collection features a wealth of visual settings, polished presentation, and solid online support with stable netcode. It’s a restoration that shows great respect for the originals. If you’re into retro fighting games and want to play them the right way—this collection is a knockout.

MLB The Show 20 presents itself as a great package, improving on most of its gameplay mechanics, including batting and fielding experience. With plenty of game modes, great Diamond Dynasty and online experience, and plenty of new animations it is a significant upgrade of the last year’s The Show 19, and proving itself worthy of purchase, by avoiding to follow the example of copycat sports franchises like FIFA and NBA 2K.

Two Point Campus is a great experience that learns from its predecessor and makes the game a bit less micromanagey, fun, and vividly fresh with every new campus and game you play. You can be the principal not only of a generic university but a lot more, including schools of magic, espionage and knighthood. If that is not fun, then what is!?
