Shadowrun fails to impress. While the core gameplay principles are well designed and the game has a balanced feel to it, the experience turns out to be underwhelming. There is simply nothing flashy nor exciting about Shadowrun. [Aug 2007]

Shrek the Third doesn't even try to be passable. It's a children's game, but that's not an excuse to make the game repetetive, too easy and just damn boring. There's enough basic platformers in this world even without the new Shrek game. [Oct 2007]

A potentially decent swimming game, but it has some lag related issues and bad design decisions, like the fact that you can't retry races on earlier seasons, which means you can easily get stuck at the start of the third season. [Jan 2012]

Total War: Rome 2: Caesar in Gaul DLC doesn't really add anything to the Rome 2 experience. [May 2014]

Much too slow and repetitive to be the fast-paced action-RPG it tries to be. Not exactly bad, but not much fun, either. [Sept. 05]

Metroid Prime: Federation Force is a clear sign of Nintendo either not understanding or just not caring about what kind of games their player base wants. It’s a shame really, since Federation Force controls pretty well. It just has the burden of being a multiplayer shooter in a series no one wants to be about multiplayer shooters and on a platform no one wants to use for multiplayer games outside of Japan. Looks like it fell out of the ugly tree and hit more than a few branches on the way down. The frustrating gameplay does not really enhance the game's charms. The switch from the jungles of Vietcong 1 to the overused urban setting of the sequel is a serious mistake. [Dec 2005]

Being a Bionic Tarzan while swinging from building to building has its thrills but the core action is repetitive, unimaginative and constraining. [July 2009]

This game itself is a Fable. It's a tall tale about functioning controls. The Kinect isn't a proper tool for controlling fast paced role-playing action. Half the time the controls are somewhat functioning, the other half the game doesn't do anything the way it's supposed to. Nice storyline makes me hope for a happy ending. Maybe the next Fable will return to the conventional methods of controlling the character. [Nov 2012]

Stumbles on its primitive user interface. To play a game with 800 sectors the player would need easier access to information straight from the map. The game renders a detailed picture of the economic model of a state, yet the player is left with few meaningful decisions to make. [June 2007]

A refreshingly pure-hearted superhero in these decadent times. Unfortunately the game itself lacks in substance and is perfect only for the kids in the family. [Apr. 05]

It really, really pisses me off, that I need Wii controllers to play a Wii U game. This right here is a true ass-fruit of a game design, where a four year old game has been ported to a new console generation nearly the way it was back then. [Jan 2014]

Clive Barker's Jericho might be the most boring and linear shooter ever. The idea of switching between characters is nice, but it is wasted on dull monster design. Also, the guns are the most underpowered peashooters ever. A huge disappointment, since the idea sounded quite interesting. [Oct 2007]

I like Globe Domination campaign better than the old storyline driven system and I like the streamlined resource management. Unfortunately, with so many excellent RTS games (SC, CoH, WiC) on the market now EE3 can not compete. [Jan 2008]
