AceGamezChanges are for the most part slight and minor, but Privateer’s new campaign structure does make for a new, refreshing playing experience.

For $10, it's difficult to complain with what is on offer with EIC:P, but the unexcusable issues regarding performance make this a cautionary purchase.

Fans of the game will enjoy this distraction, even with its similarities to Pirate Bay, and with any luck some of the more promising additions will pave the way for further enhancements for what is really a neat, if slightly flawed, little game.

Takes you back in time and let you command a trading company under the 17th century. Trading, diplomacy and war are all natural ingredients of this RTS game. A good alternative if you’re looking for a trading simulation with a historical perspective.

BoomtownUnless you are a big fan of the original and you yearn for more mission based combat then you’d better off saving your money. There isn’t enough new content here to justify the price tag.
