The revamped skating system of NHL 13 makes the game a bit more realistic – no longer can you skate in circles around the defender effortlessly – otherwise it's the same old reliable NHL we have become accustomed to enjoy every autumn. In good and bad. [Oct 2012]

A hilarious and reasonably original bemani game. Too bad the sound quality is so low. [Sept 2007]

May look a little strange at first, but you have to give it a chance. An hour later you will realise that what you have is a stylish, intelligent and fluid strategic action-adventure. [Aug 2006, p.57]

More of an experience than a game. Great storytelling and an almost paranoid attention to detail and characters work so well that you can overlook the obvious shortcomings of the action that contains no challenge whatsoever. [Sept 2007]

Dying Light has a great start and for a while it feels like the best zombie game ever. However, as the campaign turns out to be excessively lengthy, the game starts to feel a bit repetitive. [March 2015]

If you reach for the stars you can fall short and still be head and shoulders above others. A proper tactical/strategic AI and improved capital ship combat (see Starfleet Command for a great example) would place the sequel into the "game of the year" or "space sim of the century" category. Memento Mori is a heavily story-driven point'n click game with beautiful graphics and great musical score. The plot twists and turns nicely during the game. Unfortunately the puzzle design isn't very original and most of the puzzles aren't very challenging, although moving the puzzle solving to 3D does make some of the problems seem new and refreshing. The voice acting is occasionally very annoying but you get used to it. Overall Memento Mori is a good purchase for an adventure gamer Both its story and the shocking finale linger on the edge of thoughts for a long time after playing through the game. This is the way to end a game. [Jan 2010]

Absolutely furiating. It’s not unfair nor unbalanced. It’s a perfect example of a game, which demands practice, practice and practice. Sigma 2 is a dinosaur, a relic from ancient times. It doesn’t hold your hand when the bad guys kick the crap out of you. It spits on your face, kicks you in the stomach and makes you cry or try again. [Dec 2009]

An interesting blend of classic group beat 'em up and gamemodes lifted from FPS-games. It’s at the same time monotonous, chaotic and fun. [Aug 2009]

While Bohemians have got clueless and lazy to make any proper mission content. The new jungly map Tanoa was a worth of wait. It’s a shame the short COOP campaign is badly repetitive and unoriginal. At least the new 3D editor offer tools to make better content in few hours. [Aug 2016]

Even with some slight improvements added in, Majora’s Mask doesn’t quite feel as charming as it did 15 years ago. Still, it’s one of the better entries in the series. [March 2015]

Sims Castaway takes the previously urban-centered Stories spin-off series to a deserted island and pulls it off well. It feels fresh compared to the main series and actually feels more like a game again than just a virtual doll house. [Mar 2008]

Ceville is a traditional point 'n click adventure with an evil twist – Ceville himself. Its strongest point are the main characters, especially the evil little tyrant Ceville, reminiscent of the great Iznogould. The puzzles are well-made, as is the voice acting. Graphics, use of colour and the music all add to the nice faery-tale-like feeling. On the con side there are still some bugs to be fixed and sometimes the dialogue isn't witty at all, even though it tries hard to be. Overall Ceville is an enjoyable game and adventure gamers shouldn't miss it. [May 2009]
