Tightly designed version of the eternal struggle, aliens versus space marines. Maps make it too easy to lose one's bearings and biting/hitting a marine could use some visible feedback.- Pelit (Finland)

This little game of making games is sure to leave it's mark in history with it's witty marketing campaign, which seriously kicked pirate booty. The game itself is really funny little game for a couple of nights, although after the campaign there's only little to keep you entertained. [June 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

A technically sound and entertaining sandbox for arcade racers. The name should be Need for Burnout, though. [Dec 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

Yet another stylish, superbly designed game from Introversion. Not the most long-lasting single play experience, but for the price, who dares to complain? [Dec 2006, p.82]- Pelit (Finland)

Slow pace, tight defense and new manual passing controls make FIFA 08 the most realistic game in the FIFA series. However, there are still some issues as players are not moving as smoothly as they should. Be a Pro´s online mode is simply great. [Feb 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Gothic 3 has an amazingly large world to explore and tons of things to do, but also a lot of rough edges. The AI is slow-witted and the combat system is mere button smashing. Still, with some faith, Myrtana is a great place to get lost into. [Dec 2006, p.82]- Pelit (Finland)

The Walking Dead. 400 Days offers the same great The Walking Dead experience, but this time with a focus on short stories instead of one larger one. Though there still could be some more actual interaction and less watching cutscenes, the quality of writing and experimenting in short story narrative more than makes up for it. One of the most engaging environments ever. The stormy sea is the real protagonist as it is always present and always threatening. Otherwise a run-of-the-mill survival horror game. [Mar. 05],- Pelit (Finland)

Ancient Battle: Alexander is a light and entertaining turn-based hex-strategy game, which depicts the battles of Alexander the Great. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

While the story and puzzles falter a bit, there is still something utterly captivating about Primordia. The robots, broken both on the outside and on the inside, claimed for themselves a small part of my heart. And with your heart, not your mind, Primordia should really be approached.- Pelit (Finland)

Tearaway Unfolded is something for the whole family to enjoy. It's a child-friendly action-adventure with fantastic visuals. The game tries to take advantage on DualShock 4's special functions, but as a result, the controls can feel quite clunky at times. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Though both the game's story and the way it is told are not exactly original, exploring the wonderfully immersive sci-fi environments more than make up for it. VR gear or not, Pollen is a captivating experience. [May 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

The best basketball game available. Off-Ball Control and the option to switch off the ball handler are great tools to work with on offensive play. However, new defensive controls are not that useful and the camerawork is simply awful. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Two new ok races and a new ok-ish campaign. As with BfME’s War of the Rings, War of Kronus feels like a series of random battles rather than actual war. WH40K is still one of the few excellent RTS’s. [Dec 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Company of Heroes 2 is curiously forgettable as single player, even though cliched horrors of war and overdose of fake accents try their best. As a multiplayer it shines, although beginners usually think otherwise. [Aug 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Mad Max used its imagery well, and as a sandbox game, it's thematically pretty coherent. I actually liked this more than GTA V: driving around is more exiting, and Batman-style fist fighting is more fun than Gears of GTA -cover shootouts. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Warhammer Quest is a good looking and accurate conversion of the board game, which works well in small doses. On longer sessions copy-paste environments sand monsters start to bore. [Aug 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Super Mario Maker makes it easy to create and easy to share your own 2D Mario levels. User created content is wild, uneven in quality and in best cases inspiring. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Realms of Revelation finishes the Zenithian trilogy nicely. While it is not as good as Sentinels of the Starry Skies or hand of the Heavenly Bride, it is a very entertaining and the dreamlike atmosphere captures the imagination. [June 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Terraria: The arrival on competition for Minecraft was only a matter of time. Terraria is a two dimensional mining game mixed with platformer and a little bit of Diablo. It's a fun concept, but the yanks can't outmine swedes. [June 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Top Spin 4 is probably one of the best tennis games ever made mainly by its simulatorish atmosphere and absolutely marvellous career game. The controls work like a charm with pad, but unfortunately the Move support doesn't work as well as it should. Motion controls make the game extremely hard. AI doesn't cut any slack and therefore there's no error for controller based errors. [June 2011]- Pelit (Finland)
