One of the best iOS games, highly (re)playable and appealingly roguelike. [Sept 2011]

Still clearly work in progress, but at least during the first 40 levels a very entertaining MMORPG. Hopefully Funcom can make their promises true. [June 2009]

Card Hunter is a rare gem among free-to-play-games because its revenue model isn’t an all-consuming behemoth. The tabletop RPG with card battles is an excellent idea, it is a little grindy but at least it has a tiny story too. [Sept 2015]

Stylish boss rush that resembles bullet hell games at times. Despite providing a tough challenge, Furi is never cheap or unfair. Tight and very responsive controls are worth a special mention. [Sept 2016]

Looks spectacular and the driving is even better. An almost fully destructible environment and totally wreckable cars are the true soul of the game. FlatOut has never been better. [Aug 2007]

An immensely polished, gripping platformer experience. Aesthetically, Inside is pretty much ahead of anything done in the gaming space right now. That said, the actual gameplay (pushing blocks, scripted chase sequences) is somewhat lacking in substance. [Sept 2016]

A fine first add-on for The Sims 3. The adventures work surprisingly well and the travel locations are a refreshing change to the small-town americana of the original game. [Dec 2009]

Spiderweb's new RPG series is also Jeff Vogel's first game for iPad. The game is a relic from the past, but in a good way. Although most of the games for iPad cost a nickel, there's definately room for little more expensive hardcore games. [Sept 2011]

Pako is an action-packed racing game that is short on a story, but compensates it very well with fast-paced game mechanics. Once you start, it’s hard to let go. That’s always a good sign. [Feb 2015]

Bully: Scholarship Edition is not head of its class anymore, but fun and entertaining adventure nonetheless. The tried and true Grand Theft Auto thrown into a boarding school setting defends its place well on the newer consoles too, despite the age already apparent when the facelifted graphics of Xbox 360 version are compared to the new generation standards. But still, Rockstar's strong points have always been excellent characterization and captivating storyline on semi-open sandbox setting, and that Bully delivers very well. [May 2008]

A pretty good expansion which adds religion and espionage as new major features. Both of those expand the game in an interesting way, and in addition there's the usual add-on stuff of new nations, wonders and military units. [June 2012]

Good show yet again, Mr Holmes. The master detectives latest adventure pits him and doctor Watson against the nefarious killer Jack the Ripper in a dark and dangerous adventure of creative and interesting puzzles based on detective work. Might be a bit too easy for veterans of the genre though. [Feb 2010]

Offers such a single-playerish leveling up experience, that it's often easy to forget that you are actually playing an MMO. As an MMO it still lacks a lot of important features like LFG tool for flashpoints and an interface that actually supports group play, but at the same time it shows a lot of promise. If Bioware can fix the most glaring omissions The Old Republic has a potential to grow into a stable and long MMO love-affair. [Feb 2012]

Atom Zombie Smasher is a strangely compelling game. At the same time, it's simple but addictive, funny yet disturbing. It does get repetitive after a while, but not until you've gotten your money's worth. [May 2011]

If you wish to dethrone the Eternal Emperor of computer gaming, you can't have gaping holes in your armor, and thanks to the repeating and completely flat terrains as well as some balancing issues, that's precisely what Xenonauts has. However, in many other ways this is the best UFO-game thus far and thanks to modability and an active community, we just might be witnessing the birth of a legend. [Jan 2015]

A true video-game equivalent of a Jerry Bruckheimer/Michael Bay action movie. The singleplayer is engaging while it lasts, but the game's true value lies in the multiplayer. The online matches are fast, fun and highly addictive. [Nov 2010]

Starts off strong with fun missions that follow the story of the movies nicely. However, towards the end the quality and amount of plot-related missions goes down and the optional missions start to repeat themselves. It is still a fun GTA clone, just not what it could have been. [April 2006]
