Relies too much on its gameplay (taken from Age of Empires and made obsolete by the Total War games). There are fresh ideas in the multiplayer mode, though, such as shared war plans. [July 05]- Pelit (Finland)

Hitman Absolution sure isn't the classic free-range Hitman, but in its limited way is a pretty entertaining, very pretty sneak'n'shoot. The worst problems are the plot and non-working disguises. [Dec 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

A quite entertaining beat 'em up in a sandbox environment. The cities are detailed and realistic. Too bad the missions are a bit samey. [Apr 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Looks stunning and contains some really clever gameplay. The game is really fun to play although some of the puzzles make no sense at all. The condensed co-op is a real downer. [Dec 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

The Magic Circle is one of the most memorable games of the year and a glorious satire of the gaming industry and culture. It also has an extremely creative puzzle mechanic, though the actually puzzles are sadly a bit on the light side. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Rock Band Unplugged proves that music games can work surprisingly well on handheld consoles, too. The Amplitude-like gameplay works great and the song selection is good. A game worthy of the Rock Band name.- Pelit (Finland)

Revenge of the Titans doesn't bring too many new ideas to the crowded tower defence genre, but its blend of real-time strategy and arcade action does provide it with a unique twist. And it looks and sounds great, too! [May 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

A stylish, addicting mix of tower defense and roguelike elements. The pacing of the game nicely alternates from planning your defenses in peace to frantically rushing with your heroes and villains to stop the alien swarms coming at you. There could be a bit more variety with the enemies and the modules you can build, but still finding new heroes and opening the new game modes can keep you well occupied. [Feb 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent combination of platforming, racing, combat and freeform vehicle building. [Jan 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

The best Star Wars strategy ever, which, actually, is not much of a merit. Thanks to the strategic metagame and the good space battles, it is also a lot of fun. The ground battles are only so-so, but they are also short enough. Good job! [Mar 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

The best and only simulation about ancient Rome just got even better. A must for any history buff. [Jan 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

The Xbox 360 version feels good because of the skill stick, but skating should be improved greatly, and the game is off-balance. [Oct 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

The change of scenery to the Pacific is refreshing, but unfortunately it is pretty much the only thing that has changed since the last version. The new graphics are nice, but what is really needed is a better damage model and other gameplay improvements. [June 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Dimensions is a surprisingly good fighter for a handheld platform, full of jiglly graphics and good single player content. Even though my personal pick would be Street Fighter 4, Dead or Alive is still a good purchase. [Aug 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition has attitude and style, but the controls do not feel intuitive and the difficulty level is sometimes frustrating. Still, a cool and handsome 3D-shooter. [Feb 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

STASIS is one of the best point´n click adventures of the year and a solid horror experience. Its take on horror genre – slow-paced but intense 2D sci-fi horror with a claustrophobic atmosphere – is something completely unique. Add to that solid puzzles, good story and and you have gem of a game. A must for both fans of the horror and adventure genres. [Oct 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Offers a stunningly beautiful fighting frenzy. It is frustratingly difficult at times, but also rewards persistence and experimentation. You will break a sweat just thinking about all the action. [Mar. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

A nice puzzle game, which doesn't have much to do with the Rubik's cube. And that's a good thing. [Feb 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

A visually beautiful adventure that ultimately fails to deliver where it counts. The irritating script, the dumbed-down game mechanics and the utter lack of anything remotely resembling a challenge lead to the regrettable conclusion that Xbox 360 is still lacking its definitive j-rpg title. Makes no excuses in its brutal retelling of a classic western story. The atmosphere of the gunfights is expertly created. GTA style free-roaming world fits the game well, and overall it is a magnificently fun, if a bit short, experience. [Dec 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

While every game in the collection is not exactly game history master piece, there is a lot of great stuff to play with. Add as much nostalgia bonus to the score as you want. [Aug 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

An enjoyable co-op game with a fun but simplistic combat system. Bugs, matchmaking issues and technical problems keep it from becoming an instant classic. Yet! [Nov 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent bite-sized game that captures the feeling of space exploration nicely. A bit more new content in the upcoming patches would be appreciated. [April 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A very ambitious mix of hacking, adventuring and an open world sandbox. The game feels somewhat clumsy to play and the objectives can get needlessly obscure, but there's nothing quite like it. [Oct 2016]- Pelit (Finland)
