An interesting RPG with some reasonably original ideas. The 2D locations and the semi-real time combat system are nice. The Norse mythology is interesting, but the story does not use it very well. [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

A fine looking platformer. The gameplay is quite easy since Kirby is able to... well... fly. It's a fun game nonetheless. [June 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

inFamous: Second Son is not a bad sandbox game at all! Serves as an interlude while waiting the heavy hitters to arrive. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

1979 Revolution is an important game about a little known topic. Equally riveting, moving and educational. [June/July 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

A lot more than just a official game of Euro 2008, although the authentic atmosphere is obviously one of the key elements. Players move smoother than before and the gameplay is a bit tighter than in FIFA 08. However, the AI is a boring opponent. Captain your country -mode is a great addition. [Apr 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Beaterator isn’t a game. It’s an application, which allows you to create your own club tracks. The basics are simple to learn, but the in-depth song crafting requires skills and devotion. The complexity of this small application is overwhelming. In theory, you can make your own music with it. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

A quite good inverted platformer. You move the level, not the hero. The objects move nicely in the rotating maze. The levels are a bit too samey, though. [May 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Wargame: AirLand Battle polishes the Wargame even better. Here a commander with a plan and a good recon will prevail over someone with hunder actions per minute. Dynamic campaign makes it easily worth it, especially when you can face off with your friend in it. Hopefully we'll see more campaign scenarios as DLC. [Aug 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

As fantastic a puzzler/racer as it has been for the past few years. Familiarity is also its biggest problem. Good as it is, the underlying game is still the same it was the last time. [Apr 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 lacks polish but still has that good, familiar PES feeling. A true football game. [Oct 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Though Tom Clancy’s The Division is a bit repetitive, Dark Zone saves the day. I want to know where you can buy hoodies that can soak 3 clips of automatic weapons fire. [Apr 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

Pako is an action-packed racing game that is short on a story, but compensates it very well with fast-paced game mechanics. Once you start, it’s hard to let go. That’s always a good sign. [Feb 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Not a huge leap forward but certainly a step in the right direction. New passing system is pretty solid and the game looks really good. Lack of options in defense is the biggest downside of NBA Live10. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

San Juan is a nicely flowing card game, where you try to optimize your production. The game takes it's cues from the board game Puerto Rico. [June 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent multiplayer FPS. The different soldier types and vehicles keep the game fresh for a long time. Too bad tanks cannot drive through small fences and over small rocks. [Jan 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Finally, decent use for a classic controller. There is really nothing new, but everything works smoothly just like a train's toilet. Galaxies is also the most deepest and richest Geometry Wars experience made so far. [Mar 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Third installment to the Stalker-series is by far the best iteration of the saga. When compared to the radioactive role-playing world of Fallout, the only things that this game is missing are experience points and some decent dialogue. The game is much closer to a simulator than an fps-game. In this perspective, it's odd, that all the weapons resemble pea-shooters. [Feb 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Looks spectacular and the driving is even better. An almost fully destructible environment and totally wreckable cars are the true soul of the game. FlatOut has never been better. [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

May look a little strange at first, but you have to give it a chance. An hour later you will realise that what you have is a stylish, intelligent and fluid strategic action-adventure. [Aug 2006, p.57]- Pelit (Finland)

Card Hunter is a rare gem among free-to-play-games because its revenue model isn’t an all-consuming behemoth. The tabletop RPG with card battles is an excellent idea, it is a little grindy but at least it has a tiny story too. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Forza Motorsport 5 is not a bad racing game per se, but it feels kinda downgraded from the expansive Forza games of Xbox 360. The graphics are fancy, but that doesn't quite compensate the (relative) lack of cars and tracks. [Feb 2014]- Pelit (Finland)
