As far as the graphics go, Crysis 3 really squeezes everything out of Xbox 360. As a finale for a trilogy, the game could've really used a much more engaging story. The stealth gameplay is also not as good as it could be, the A.I. is simply too dumb for its own good. [March 2013]

It probably would be more intuitive to play an adventure game with a steering wheel and pedals, when compared to the controls that D4 brings to the table. On top of that, the game is crippled with a stupid hunger minigame, that requires you to hunt food, or else you run out of stamina. The story is quite compelling and the wacky characters try their best to keep the game afloat, but the controls and the core mechanics just aren’t up for the task. [Feb 2015]

Destiny is a flawed but still extremely fun first person shooter. While the Destiny universe itself seems intriguing, the storyline is told in such an incoherent manner that it's hard not to be turned off by all the technobabble. Fortunately the co-op shooter mechanics are absolutely perfect. The loot system can be maddening, but in a way it adds to the game's addictiveness. [Oct 2014]

Amazing Alex has a nice idea, but the levels are far too easy. Most of them can be completed without any thought whatsoever. Alex itself is one of the most annoying know-it-alls in recent memory and the game would be more enjoyable without his smug little face. [Sept 2012]

A very nice surprise. In this age of good looking, but simplistic and short, easy games a touch of classic role-playing was really refreshing. I hope to see the remaining Books, too. [Jan 2008]

Borderlands the Pre-Sequel is by no means a bad game, but for a Borderlands veteran it ends up feeling more like a oversized DLC rather than a brand new stand-alone game. [Nov 2014]

A light gun shooter that is more fan service than catering to a wider audience. The game is decent but it’s also hard - sometimes very hard - and manages to frustrate at times. It’s also bland looking and ugly. For Resident Evil fans only. [Jan 2008]

A story-driven action game with an extremely dark atmosphere. The storyline is interesting, cutscenes are well made and the city is full of temptations. However, the battles are a bit too repetitive and the camera behaves strangely at times. [Sept 2006]

An excellent tennis game. There is not much to complain about, except for the bit too steep learning curve. Freeform strike-practice wold not have hurt, either. [Aug 2006, p.46]

Spiderweb's new RPG series is also Jeff Vogel's first game for iPad. The game is a relic from the past, but in a good way. Although most of the games for iPad cost a nickel, there's definately room for little more expensive hardcore games. [Sept 2011]

A quite good and fast-paced strategy game. It's basically a digital board and card game. [Jan 2010]
