Vermintide 2 outclasses its predecessor thanks to its improved character system and more satisfying loot, while the amazing combat, relentless difficulty and lack of variety remain largely the same.

Surviving Mars shines with surprisingly deep gameplay and a complex economic system. Most of the time you are struggling to keep your fragile colony alive and provide your colonists with all they need. Always fighting for scarce ressources and against the harsh environment of the red planet.

There’s a lot to like about Crossout: the vehicular action shooter combines fast gameplay with a really good editor and a solid crafting system. The graphics are good and the damage model is even better. Sadly, there is no crafting tutorial, the background story is rather weak and most of the time the AI is disappointingly stupid.

Into the Breach is challenging and ruthless in exploiting your errors, but in the best way. It creates a tactical depth that keeps you motivated to master your strategies and do it better in the next attempt to save the world.

This game shouldn’t have been released in this state. The story is outlandish, there’s no action, the stealth-parts are boring and the ominous nightmare porcelain men are just plainly not frightening. The premise was good, the execution simply ragged.

An ambitious, beautiful and rewarding experience with great atmosphere and enjoyable quests, if you can overlook some of its questionable design choices and technical shortcomings.

The Definitive Edition captures the romanticized memory that we had of this 20 year old classic and puts it in a modern game. The reworked graphics are marvelous and despite some badly aged mechanics like the path finding it is still fun to build your own ancient empire.

An enchanting little adventure set in a beautiful world. Only the last third could have been more challenging with a little more variety.

Subnautica shows an almost perfect mix of survival, exploration and building. The story is so beautifully woven into the game, without being forced on the player.

Rise and Fall takes the already feature packed main game and adds a lot of substantial new elements to it. Loyality, Gouvernours and Ages provide new layers of strategic depth. Sadly the old problems with the AI still remain.

Well aged, beautifully remastered - honorable round for a classic! One thing is clear: Anyone who didn't get along eleven years ago with a story full of politics, characters without any ruffle, and a combat system somewhere between turn-based and realtime, will not convert to The Zodiac Age either. But for those who - like me - had a lot of fun playing the PS2-Original then or just does not know the classic yet, is welcome to this remaster.

Good but sparse content, at least compensated by free updates - Vaulter is the ideal occasion for dusting off Endless Space 2 again from the bookshelf.

The dynamic trading system provides variety and the handling is very comfortable.

Despite the limitations in terms of content, the developers were overwhelmed by the countless actions you can perform. Bugs interfere on a regular basis and there´s nothing you can get from exploring the rather interesting open-world. What saves the title and makes him, despite the flaws, worthwhile for HTC-Vive-owners is the immersive feeling of the game, at least when you’re not being interrupted by one of the third-person-cutscenes.

Before the Storm is a great prequel that manages to capture the essence of what Life is Strange is. With great characters, a beautiful story, the typical atmosphere and fantastic music this installment sometimes even surpasses the first game.

The characters are profoundly written, have a lot of heart, and the story is as sad as it is exhilarant. […] I recommend Finding Paradise (and the predecessor To the Moon and the connecting piece A Bird Story) to everyone who loves well-written characters and thrilling stories und has no problem with the almost non-existent gameplay.

Despite a heavy nostalgic bonus, the snazzy façade does not quite comfort you over the outdated core. [..] In terms of graphics Second Contact appears like a full-featured Remake but in fact it's a remaster.

Poor controls, short and few levels: the game is over as fast as Sonic runs. It has its moments, but considering the positive prerequisites, the technical shortcomings make the game a mess.
