Lara is back to her roots. The focus on adventure instead of endless fighting is fantastic and the gameplay has been evolved for the better again. On top of that Tomb Raider never did look so good.

Although it has some flaws and typical free-to-play mannerisms, Fortnite is fun, both in co-op and in PvP.

Exactly the right game for anyone who likes Theme Hospital and for any newcomer who wants to try out the genre.

It's been a long time since I had so much fun playing PES.

A commendable adventure thanks to its rich characters, creative stories and stylish visuals, even though the puzzles and choices leave much to be desired.

A flawed, yet strangely engrossing adventure with an intriguing story and ambitious ideas, which don't always come to fruition.

A well-executed overall concept á la Black Mirror and Altered Carbon.

A very good football simulation with an embarrassing story mode.

A solid, satisfying metroidvania with charming retro aesthetics that is hampered by its unappealing game world, uneven balancing and overall lack of ideas. The whole concept of randomized levels seems unnecessary for a game like this, and one has to wonder how Chasm would have turned out if only it used a fixed level design instead.

Overall, I'm happy with the third part, which is mainly due to the epic plot and the strongly drawn characters.

By combining elements of puzzle-games with those of walking simulators, The Spectrum Retreat creates a coherent whole.

From the Ashes has a great concept, but the result feels sluggish and never reaches its full potential.

It's already a decent game, but compared with its inspiration Left 4 Dead it leaves a lot to be desired.

I am positively surprised how much Unworthy mesmerized me, even though I just wanted to “take a short look”.

A nice sequel, especially for co-op-fans, but not good enough to surpass its predecessor.

Jurassic World Evolution is not the best or most complex management sim on the planet, but that's okay, it’s still demanding enough to be very entertaining. The focal point of the game are the dinosaurs anyway, and they look amazing.

It's Descent with all its ups and downs: Fantastic playability, cool weapons and challenging levels, which are diminished by bleak environments and monotonous missions. So yeah, the game can feel a little outdated at times. But if you are a fan of the original two Descent games, that might be exactly what you are looking for. I had a blast.

At first I liked Smoke and Sacrifice very much. […] But the more I played the more I recognized that I'm doing only one thing: farming.

Slaps and Beans is not a perfect game. But that's no problem, the indie game doesn't have these kind of aspiration. Instead it's about reviving the slapstick brawling orgies of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill once again und paying tribute to these old heroes.
