It isn’t the best looking game nor is it the best playing, but it certainly has its moments and is worth random sessions of playtime on the road or for a slight diversion. Rare’s best works have been 2D side-scrollers and their work here is no exception.

If you liked "Mario Golf," you'll love Ribbit King. There's not much depth, but there's more than enough charm and fun to make it worth your twenty bucks.

The value of this cartridge will keep you playing and playing until your fingers rub raw.

I still can't help but feel that the game could have used just a little more content or even a few more graphical bells and whistles. Final word: great game.

Each overworld that Crash visits is filled with platform elements that have been drawn out from generation to generation and have just ceased to be original any longer.

I enjoyed Spyro Orange much more than the previous GBA installments, although the gameplay was much more simplistic this time around...A good buy for parents to look into.

Without a doubt, a prized old-school shooter that stacks up against "Gradius" and others with great fortitude. Though simple, the game is some of the most fun $20.00 can net you.

It's not bad, but it doesn't quite have the same charm that it did when I was ten years old.

There's no question in my mind: If you've never played Super Mario Bros., you can't call yourself a gamer. This is a pretty decent way to get to know Mario and Luigi, but there are flashier ("Super Mario All-Stars") and deeper ("Super Mario Bros. Deluxe") ways to do it.

Zelda has aged rather gracefully compared to some of the games from its time, and it's worth picking up for the portability factor alone.

Being that so many versions are available however, at even cheaper prices, there’s not much reason to invest in this port.

It’s depressing from my standpoint and given EA’s efforts with the past three games, it’s hard to see if this series is going anywhere.

The learning curve is a little steep and not everyone may enjoy losing dozens of battles before they finally get the hang of it. However, it should be noted that with 120 cards from the original card game as well as 60 cards from the expansion pack, Atari is extremely faithful to the source material.

A mediocre to below-average RPG, and doesn’t hold many great moments.

One of the best platformers to come out of Nintendo in a long time, but it may leave the Donkey Kong '94 players with a feeling of "been there, done that".

Although it's not the deepest game out there, Custom Robo is a thoroughly enjoyable action game, and probably one of the best sleeper hits of the spring for Gamecube.

Alas, there must exist crap amongst the cream of the crop. I really wanted to get behind Van Helsing -- really -- but cannot ignore the terribly sloppy interface that fails to entertain one in the slightest.

Remaining faithful to the franchise by displaying it in the manner intended by Dreamworks and PDI, I am delighted to recommend this game to any of you out there who are particularly enamored by the guy in green we know of as Shrek.

The only downside for fans is the spoilers. If you haven’t seen this yet, you may want to step aside and wait. There are story elements in this game that you may want to wait for until you actually sit down in the auditorium.

Anyone looking for a game that plays in the old Space Invaders style can surely find an arcade compilation somewhere. The "just move right and left and shoot the enemies" idea was great back in the 1980's, but it just doesn't cut it by today's standards.

Buena Vista does a remarkable job in setting the difficulty level at a place in which older players like myself are not turned off, while still making sure the experience isn’t so hard as to alienate the younger demographic it outwardly targets.

I am constantly amazed at how good children’s television programming can be bastardized by half-hearted, sloppy developers. Do they think that kids don’t know crappy software when they play it?

Just know that it’s very different from every Harvest Moon before it; It’s less busy and paced moanre slowly, it emphasizes the livestock business more than the crop-growing one, and it's not about accumulating a fortune so much as it's about building a family and watching it grow.

The restrictions put on car selection, unlockable content, and course layout act as a leash on the player. This ultimately makes the game frustrating, as you struggle to escape the leash. Then it makes it boring, as you accept the fact that you can't change the game.

Worms 3D’s major problem is that it is in 3D. The uninspired camera and technical oversights, such as the inability to use multiple controllers, prevent the game from receiving an especially high score. However, the game does offer loads of fun if you can get past the flaws.
