Super Fancy Pants Adventure is an excellent action platformer, that takes the very best from the previous episodes and offers a very solid, fun gameplay made of jumps, runs, exploration and very well-made combat.

The Room: Old Sins is one of the best entries in the franchise, with a more cohesive progression and a lot of addictive puzzles. Just don't expect any major innovation in the formula.

Remothered: Tormented Fathers is the Clock Tower the fan needs​.

​Dragon Quest Builders for Nintendo Switch is a nice port from the PS4 version. Portability, this time at least, is not the winning condition but, despite that, the game still shines due to its qualities.

Monster Hunter: World is not easier per se as we feared. Capcom just made it much more accessible, intuitive and friendly to newcomers but the game retains the same fundamental structure fans fell in love with years ago. New maps and monsters look and behave great, weapons feel better than ever, and there is ton of replay value with all that stuff to craft and quests to clear.

A chapter that lacks originality but would please fans with a new plot and 87 new monsters.

Let Them Come is an interesting corridor shooter, with plenty of upgrades and enemies but a very limited, repetitive gameplay.

Pathfinder Duels manages to introduce a layer of strategic elements that enrich its card battler structure.

From an interesting mix of elements comes a stylish game that manages to be fun, at least for a while.

Romancing SaGa 2 is a welcome return, proof that the RPGs of the past still have something to offer. But despite fascinating mechanics, its porting nature from the mobile version penalizes the entire production.

Superbeat: Xonic is an intoxicating new entry for an ever-growing genre in the Switch library. A great track list and almost flawless game mechanics, unfortunately spoiled by some issues with the touch screen.

Furi delivers an intense, hardcore action experience packed with challenging boss fights and a fascinating narrative.

Compared to I am Setsuna, Lost Sphear is a step forward and a step backward at the same time. Tokyo RPG Factory improved on storytelling and character development but the gameplay structure and nuisances aren't just recalling the good old times. They just feel outdated and sometime plain annoying.

An unremarkable plot and short play time make The Inpatient feel like a missed opportunity.

For a fighting game fan this is obviously the best Dragon Ball game ever made. Its combat system is a magnificent revision of the Marvel VS mechanics, with a lot of hidden complexity and brilliant limitations.

Despite the disastrous launch, Street Fighter V was already an outstanding fighting game, with an exciting rhythm and thrilling game mechanics. The Arcade Edition is a great remedy for the main issue of the game: its lack of content.

A good amount of new mechanics awaits you with the Tomb Kings expansion. Maybe the ticket is still too high for just one race, but the new campaign and all the new units may justify the price.

Animus - Stand Alone offers an excellent hardcore action RPG experience on iOS, thanks to a deep combat system, new weapons and armors to unlock and upgrade, and a wide variety of enemies and bosses.

Pinball FX3 on Nintendo Switch is probably the best way to play the Zen Pinball in this iteration. Portability, vertical screen and couch multiplayer gameplay are perfect additions.
