Far from being the braindead musou we have learned to expect and love, Fire Emblem Warriors is not just a Hyrule Warriors reskin either but a new, exciting take at the genre. Despite some interesting gameplay ideas, Rogue Trooper Redux is afflicted by a weak atmosphere and many limitations compared with nowadays videogames.

The single matches and the Universe mode undoubtedly represent the most enjoyable part of WWE 2K18, since they highlight the technical improvements made by the game. Unfortunately the lack of a true story mode, replaced by an extraordinary sluggish career mode, makes this latest iteration a missed chance.

Piranha Bytes looks back to Gothic saga as it moves into the future with their new IP. ELEX isn't free from defects, among which are a little inspired setting and a rude combat system, but it will meet the expectations of the hardcore historical fan base.

The Land of Pain is developed with passion, but has many flaws due to its modest production values.

Nothing really new to see here (the game is basically a clone of Lara Croft GO), but Geostorm does its job pretty well for a tie-in.

Megaton Rainfall is a nice surprise for everyone who dreamed about being a superhero. You will appreciate it whether you have a PlayStation VR set or not.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole is a competent RPG which takes perhaps a bit too much before actually delivering some good jokes but once it does start it feels like a gigantic South Park episode with tons of fanservice, an excellent combat system and the brilliant satire we all came to love.

​Mixing the charm of Japanese RPGs and the mechanics of Super Mario Golf, Golf Story is another beautiful little gem in the Switch eShop catalogue.

The Evil Within 2 is very similar to the previous installment, but with some nice novelty in gameplay, a great level design and great atmosphere. This is a must-play for fans of survival horror.​

NBA Live 18 is intended as an alternative for those looking for greater immediacy in basketball simulations. Offering practical aids and solutions, even at the expense of realism, the title achieves a very entertaining gaming system.

This edition of the game maybe isn’t really that definitive, and the price tag might be a little bit higher than one would expect, but Rayman Legends on Switch is still one of the best 2D platformers out there.

A brilliant racing game, that evolves pretty much every aspect of its predecessors, and offers one of the most customisable and solid racing experiences in years. At the same time, being so focused on the quality of the driving, the game is a bit lacking when it comes to progression, artificial intelligence, adornments and immersion.

Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite is undeniably one of the best fighting game out there. Capcom found a striking balance between depth and accessibility, tweaking a spectacular yet chaotic formula into a frantic gameplay with tons of options and mechanics. And yet Capcom ditched the most important thing: personality.

WRC 7 is a good rally game, representing a good step forward compared to previous chapters. It's not the best title out there but it certainly entertain those who aren't looking for a too realistic driving experience.

Divinity: Original Sin II is the best sequel can you imagine. It offers a lot more than the previous chapter, in every sense. It probably is one of the best CRPG ever made.

An incredible gunplay at your service. Destiny 2 is a better game than its predecessor from any point of view, starting from the more complex universe to the most rewarding experience. If you loved the previous chapter this is a must have.​

Windjammers is the same fun game released 23 years ago on Neo-Geo, with the exception of the new online mode formula. Once again gives it’s best if played with other gamers, but the price is a little too high compared with the actual available contents.

A decent DLC, that offer a well structured dungeon and some interesting quest lines, but does nothing to evolve the base product or give it closure in a more satisfying way (no, the new ending does not count). Still, if you liked the original game, it's a good addition to an already good rpg.

Despite the lack of options and rules customization, Sparc is physical, visceral and excitingly exhausting. One of the best competitive experience you can have in virtual reality.

Monster Hunter Stories is an excellent JRPG through and through filled with content, challenging fights, interesting customization options and amazing visuals. It is also very respectful of its source material, offering players a new take on the iconic Monster Hunter tropes.

If you want to make Ibrahimovic even richer, go ahead and spend your money with the many IAPs of Zlatan Legends; however, if you’re looking for a good mobile game, you should look elsewhere.

Expanding the original Pen and Paper formula, this new game from Behold offers more space but almost the same structure, with its strengths (humour, characters management) and flaws (repetitive quests).

Its aesthetics could make you think about classic platforming, but Hoggy 2 delivers its best in the puzzle compartment, while remaining quite flawed in its action platform sections.
