Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection should have been a slam-dunk remaster. Instead, Aspyr broke two games that just needed a little polish. If you’re looking to re-live the experience of single-player campaigns or galactic conquest, this collection might be worth picking up. For those looking for an online Star Wars shooter experience, this is not the remaster you are looking for. While I can only hope that patches will fix this game’s problems, I don’t know if they will help it recover from the rocky launch. I would avoid this game until there are massive improvements.

It’s the kind of game you’ll forget as soon as you hit the “quit” button. If you’re looking for a fun, engaging roguelike, look elsewhere. This one is nothing but a cash grab in martial arts clothing. It’s a swing and a miss, and it’s best left ignored.

In the course of writing this review, I’ve learned that Red Mountain Studio, the developers of this game are a very small team and that might explain some of the oversights, but this is not a fun experience and honestly feels like it could have come out on the PS2.

I do wonder why this game was not made to be on mobile, outside of if you are using a steam deck. This could be a free, match 3 mobile game with ads/optional ads—a casual game to play during a commute. I would be a bit more understanding of the limitations. Regardless, I hope small quality of life updates are made to at least improve on the decorating aspect outside of the match 3 game.

One True Hero is a 3D platform adventure title that is lacklustre. Sadly, too many bugs and dated mechanics ruin this title. However, its narration is excellent and the story could be witty if it wasn't for the shortcomings. Furthermore, it is a game that has borrowed many of its core principles from leading games and failed miserably.

Orange Season was disappointing! This tried and tested genre should have been fun. However, the gameplay was flat and the game is so buggy that you will become annoyed. Unless it gets some serious updates, this is one to avoid!

Highway Police Simulator is a woeful example of a simulator experience. It is broken, messy, and unbelievably terrible. This is a shame as the potential is there to see. However, too many bugs and awful acting hold it back.

I do believe Tower Simulator 3 is good at its actual air port simulation but what’s missing here is everything that makes a game actually a game, something someone would actually want to play and not just observe and in that regard Tower Simulator 3 completely misses the mark. I really wish I could enjoy just setting the graphics up, look at these beautiful planes take off and roleplay as if I’m actually in a tower on a bright early morning, but sadly with all of my attempts this just didn’t happen.

Ultimately these games come from an era that will always be overlooked before the likes of Nintendo and Sega came along and catapulted gaming along the path where it has got to today, and that is commendable. It is a backhanded compliment to the era that these games are so out of date.

Call it a climb, call it a journey, call it Samsara if you want. But don’t call it an adventure. My vote… Just don’t play it.

Blood Waves is an arena-based zombie survival game that fails to hit the mark. With poor controls, lacklustre mechanics, and dated graphics, it will disappoint you. I can't recommend it as there are many better games in this genre.

Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is ugly, repetitive and broken beyond belief. It has potential in its big book of procedures and regulations, but doesn't implement anything well enough to even get close to reaching that potential.

Food Truck Simulator is a game that has plenty of potential. However, game-breaking bugs prevent it from excelling. Moreover, you'll become frustrated as you repeatedly reload the game. Had there been no issues, this would have scored between 7 and 8 out of 10.

Noreya: The Gold Project is a 2D pixel-art metroidvania game set in a dark fantasy universe, offering players the choice between allegiance to the Gods of Light and Shadow or the gods of Corruption and Gold. Decisions made in the game affect progression by changing the available paths and abilities.

Little Big Adventure- Twinsen’s Quest is a profoundly disappointing evolution of the cult classic. Bizarre story tone changes, god awful combat and platforming and poor visuals seal this version as a cheap imitator. Whilst the strong musical score remains, and sound design across the board is solid, it’s not enough to change my opinion that this was just made for a quick buck. This one should have stayed in the 90’s.

Gore doctor tried to be a gory, scary and memorable experience which left the bad animations, voice acting and boss designs etched into my mind. If you’re bored and want to play a short low quality horror game to earn easy trophies then go for it, otherwise I’d steer clear…

For those looking for a short adventure to pass an evening, Shalnor Legends II is an okay title. My playthrough took me roughly 10 hours or so to see through to the end and was an alright way to pass a weekend. Unfortunately, there are a lot of better options out there when it comes to the adventure genre. While it is not terrible in any aspect, there are a lot of things that are just okay here. The visuals are passable but with some caveats. Some of the character models look extremely rough and hard to comprehend at first glance. Music is another instance of mediocracy. No tracks really stood out as exceptional or terrible during my time with the game. Everything about Shalnor Legends II just lands below average, making it extremely hard to recommend in a sea of games in the same genre.

This game doesn’t have absolutely nothing going for it. It has many fascinating survival elements mixed with a unique story. While I wouldn’t say that this game is complete in its current state, if you enjoy these types of survival games or the previous game, Farmers Life, then possibly give this game a go if you’re interested. Sadly, I can say that otherwise, it may be best to give this experience a pass, at least until they fix the nonfunctional aspects.

Witch Strandings is a game that really wanted to emphasize the importance of connections as well as nurturing the relationships between characters, but the control scheme made it hard for me to really get into it. While there were story details to be found around the world, it felt like there wasn’t enough guidance to help a player get the ball rolling. I understand that exploration should be the driving force but something like this could really use a guiding hand for the first few minutes outside of the tutorial to help bring the player along.

Lost in Tropics is a survival game that piqued my interest. However, the repetitive action, lack of depth, and weird in-game events undermined the potential. Furthermore, your NPC companion is annoying and there are not enough items to craft. Consequently, it left me wanting.

Mechajammer is a good idea – a retro styled; pixel-art RPG set in a cyberpunk world. Unfortunately, it’s dreary, full of bugs and a disappointment. Especially when you realise the detailed character creation doesn’t really make much difference.

With a storyline clocking in at three hours, Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos succeeds in embodying more elements of a larger game’s series of side quests than it does a worthwhile spinoff. While there is oftentimes a critical inconsistency in accounting for a price when reviewing a product, this title makes such ignorance impossible. Complaints that could usually be considered minor hiccups, such as fluctuating graphical fidelity, a lack of variety in content, and performance issues, instead resemble ugly burps that reflect a blatant disregard for the audience willing to spend forty US dollars on a series that has earned their trust. To that crowd, shining moments of straightforward gameplay and satisfying voice acting do exist between these outbursts, making it apparent that there are components worth salvaging here. For a deep sale, perhaps the most devout fans of the Neptunia series will find the silver lining of this underwhelming spinoff worth enduring. For me, there is no fuel left in this ride.

You can look at Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs The Thrilling Steamy Maze Kiwami in two ways. The game is either a bad dungeon crawler or a horny anime game. It’s a game that offers little in story or gameplay, and it just feels like fan service for fans of the show. Unless you are a fan of the show and want more Yuuna content, or you want a video game with a lewder tone, this is not a game worth checking out.

While a charming concept made by a small and seemingly earnest team, the gameplay, characters, and levels are all just too bland to warrant a better score. If anything can be said in this game's defence without mentioning it's charm, I guess it would be that at least it's only $15.

Whether it’s overly punishing hitboxes or bland level design, Balloony struggles to get its feet off the ground. There’s so much inspiration out there when it comes to 2D platformers, and yet it feels as though almost none of the things that made those games great made it into this title. If you’re looking for an engaging experience then you’d better look elsewhere, because this game has gone down like a lead balloon.

If you were wondering I do not recommend this game, it’s dull, repetitive and lacks any excitement, if you’re here for the women! Go right ahead and get it, but if you want an actual good game look elsewhere as this game provided me more lows than highs. I give it a 3/10 the artstyle and performance make it at least a game that works but the lack of actual greatness outside of it makes it a game that disappoints.
