If you’re a fan of action RPGs with a taste for mystery and don’t mind a bit of roughness around the edges, Empyreal might just be worth exploring. But for players expecting a polished, emotionally resonant journey with rogue-lite and looter mechanics, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Enclave - HD is a remake that disappointed me. This action-adventure title misses the mark and won't wow modern audiences. With dated graphics and dull audio, this is lacklustre at best. Thankfully, the replay value prevents it from scoring less than 5/10.

Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire should have been great. However, poor controls and slow and repetitive gameplay hold it back. It's a shame as the storytelling was fun and I liked the lore.

If you’re wondering I don’t recommend this game unless you’re already a fan of the series. And if you can get past most of its issues, your fine. If you’re anything like me, this will mostly come out to be a messy ride. I give this game a 5/10 a pretty fun game if you ignore the story, some characters, and the boring world.

EARTH VS MARS is a solid strategy game. But that’s mostly it. It doesn’t add any interesting characteristics that we haven’t seen before, and it takes few risks with its gameplay. After a while, I did find myself wanting to play a different strategy game, one that really makes me think and one that doesn’t take an absurd amount of time to show the damage being committed to enemy combatants. In the end, Earth VS MARS doesn’t do much wrong; on a different side of the same coin, it doesn’t do too much great either to separate itself from an ever-competitive genre.

Gridz Keeper is a zombie puzzle title that could have been fun. However, the lack of depth and challenge hold it back. It was a shame as I wanted it to thrive!

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong should have been fantastic, but it wasn't. It has some excellent characters and an array of interesting missions. Somehow, though, it still falls short. With bland conversation and a flat atmosphere, every task is an uphill struggle. It's a real shame as it could, and should have worked well.

Liberté could have been the latest great game in the golden era of roguelites with its unique setting and interesting premise. Sadly, a story that falls by the wayside almost instantly, basic, yet frustrating gameplay design and at times ugly environments stop this game from reaching its potential. Superb sound design, voice acting and score help soften the blow to a certain extent but I’m left wondering what truly could have been.

Alaskan Road Truckers: Highway Edition doesn't break with tradition. Accordingly, fans of trucking games will enjoy what they experience. Sadly, this is a niche audience and other gamers will be disappointed. The visuals are rough, and the gameplay is too restrictive. As such, there are better simulation games available.

Monark might still become Lancarse’s low-budget JRPG golden goose in the long run, as there is plenty to work with here in terms of potential storylines and created assets, but as it stands – and based on its glaring issues – there’s very little reason to expect this quasi-dark school-based romp to achieve anything outside of its niche audience, even if I did find it to be oddly charming…..by the end.

If you want to discover everything that this game has to offer, prepare to sit through some particularly ‘draggy’ sections that’ll have your finger hovering over the skip-all button. This may set you back 50-60 hours depending on how fast you can read. Generally, I’m a fan of visual novels, but this one defeated me. A mix, I believe, of slow pace, bad writing and unnecessary sexual and misogynistic language that just made me groan. For some people, I’m sure that’ll be right up their alley, but personally, Tengoku Struggle really struggled to elicit any joy from me at all.

If you’re into some genuinely nice looking grass, trees, rocks, etc, and don’t mind mediocre rhythm-puzzle gameplay, go ahead and give Melobot a try. Otherwise, you’re not missing much.

Despite a couple of promising ideas, Rogue Cards is dragged down by uninspired card designs, bland art and a strong sense of repetition. With so many excellent choices in the turn-based roguelike genre, Rogue Cards seems destined for obscurity.

Tiny Battles should have been a fun auto battler. However, it is full of issues and will leave you disappointed. The reliance on luck and little judgement is a bitter pill to swallow. Accordingly, you will tire of the action long before you should.

Amazing Superhero Squad is a colourful and striking comic book inspired title. It has an interesting concept, but its execution is underwhelming and lacklustre. Consequently, it fails to reach its potential and will disappoint many gamers.

Finis is an unusual puzzle experience. Furthermore, it has some interesting ideas. However, it is flawed and this holds it back. Additionally, its short playtime and simple problems will frustrate you.

I can appreciate its simplicity, and I love a good Norse theme, but Landnama could benefit from more variety and innovation.

At the end of the day, Zookeeper is not a bad game. It just falls a bit short on keeping the player’s interest for extended periods of time. Zookeeper has potential for sure. It’s cute, relaxing and there is some fun to be found. However, as it stands, things feel a bit too middle of the road to justify any hype.

Demon’s Mirror certainly has its moments of intrigue and challenge, but as time goes on, the game’s repetitive nature and slow progression dampen the excitement. While it might appeal to those craving complexity and a bit of a mental workout, for most players, the frustration and lack of meaningful upgrades make it hard to recommend.

AI Limit is, at best, an okay Soulslike experience. The combat provides some enjoyable moments, especially when experimenting with different weapons, but the game is ultimately held back by its uninspired world and weak main story. If you’re a die-hard fan of the genre and are willing to overlook its shortcomings, you might find something to enjoy here. But for most players, AI Limit fails to stand out in a sea of better, and now cheaper alternatives.

Syberia isn’t going to be for everyone, and it likely won’t be for you. Point-and-click games aren’t very relevant these days for a reason, and it’s largely because the industry has moved towards more player-friendly experiences. This remaster is a great opportunity to experience a bit of the past, but I doubt it will have many people reminiscing about the way things used to be.

For a meditation on creativity, you can’t help but wish it had a couple more ideas of its own.

Medievals Machines Builders: Is a simulator game to craft medieval machineries, especially catapults. Is relaxing and can be played at your own pace. Good choice for stressful weeks. And a terrible choice if you are looking for high-quality visuals.

Forest Grove is a detective walking simulation title. Moreover, it has an array of puzzles to solve and plenty of clues to uncover. However, it is far too easy and this prevents it from excelling. Additionally, it isn't long enough and this will annoy veteran gamers.

Dark Quest 3 is a fantasy rogue-lite title with a Dungeons and Dragons edge. You must pick your heroes, take on each mission, and hope for some luck. Unfortunately, though, it fails to reach its potential, and I was left disappointed.

Hammerwatch 2 is a fun little adventure that has a ton of potential but has a lot of minor issues that may be off putting for some. For those looking for a simple way to pass the time with some friends, this is definetly worth checking out but I hope you have someone ready to keep track of where you need to be going or else you will be pulling up the quest menu every other second. Combat is fun but the scenery can make it hectic to keep track of everything. Overall, Hammerwatch 2 does a wonderful job of being a mediocre adventure with promise.

The DioField Chronicle is a Fantasy tactical rpg where the gamer controls a group of mercenaries called Blue Fox. The combination between the real-time battle system with the traditonal tactical settings gave the game a new and distinctive experience from both other SE rpgs and tactical rpgs.

Chimp Quest Spirit Isle offers a decent diversion for fans of puzzle-solving and time management games. Its time-based challenges and interactive mechanics provide moments of enjoyment, but ultimately, its lack of depth and variety prevent it from reaching its full potential. While it may satisfy casual players looking for a quick distraction, it fails to leave a lasting impression. With some refinements and additional content, it could evolve into a more compelling experience. As it stands, however, it’s a game that’s best approached with tempered expectations.
