A visually compelling game, Pneuma: Breath of Life offers very original puzzles mechanics and an interesting background story, but lacks in length resulting in 2-3 total hours of play.- MondoXbox

A solid Nascar racer, with a good career mode and a good engine even if not comparable to the latest AAA racers. Too bad for its sound design, often annoying and definitely forgettable.- MondoXbox

A completely different game from anything else available on Xbox One, suitable both to managerial game lovers and families with children, thanks to the many play modes available. If you're a fan of the series, you won't be disappointed even if the difficulty is a little bit tuned on the low side.- MondoXbox

TT Games' new adventure ends up being a bit shorter than we'd have liked, and it looks like it's now targeting only the younger audience, offering little motivations for gorwn-up players other than that of playing it with their kids.- MondoXbox

A good "ballistic destruction" game, with functional and well-thought motion controls and overally satisfying gameplay. With better artistic and level/puzzles design could have been a real must-have.- MondoXbox

A very nicely designed platformer, with an immediate and easy gameplay and some very nice 2.5D sections. Unluckily, though, some control problems and lack of content keep it from shining more.- MondoXbox

Bright Memory: Infinite is an interesting production primarily thanks to its combat system, which successfully mixes firearms, melee attacks and the use of powers, aided by an undoubtedly powerful visuals, albeit in a linear and static world. The rambling and quickly forgettable story and the extreme brevity of the experience, though, don't make it easily recommendable to everyone.- MondoXbox

DON'T NOD delivers a linear, narrative-driven space adventure focused on the connection between its two protagonists. While it shows excellent direction and great characterization, it stumbles on a basic level design, repetitive gameplay, and an underdeveloped story plot. A flawed yet very fascinating interstellar journey.- MondoXbox

The Escapists: The Walking Dead adds some interesting mechanics to the base title, but as a TWD game it's a bit of a letdown due to a very weak storytelling and repetitive gameplay.- MondoXbox

We're glad THQ Nordic revived this great series, but unluckily it feels quite sub-par compared with the previous games. The loss of environmental puzzles and a general dumbing down of the gameplay formula definitely hurt the series, even if it's still an enjoyable game. Too bad for the performance and technical problems that undermine the overall experience.- MondoXbox

Graced by stunning and truly next-genish graphics, Ryse: Son of Rome unluckily stumbles on too-repetitive fights: the combat system itself proved do be quite solid but it lacks variety in enemy types and weapons used. Upon this we find an overly short story balanced by a valid co-op experience. It's undoubtedly a game to try for every Xbox One owner, but one that you could be willing to wait to find at a more appropriate price.- MondoXbox

The Fall Part 2: Unbound proved to be a double-sided experience: the first half amazed us with a compelling and thought-provoking story, good puzzles and effective mechanics. All of this gets wasted in the second half of the game, which feels more like a pointless filler to artificially inflate the game length with recycled contents, frustrating puzzles and an unsatisfying ending. A real pity.- MondoXbox

Nowhere Studios' game has got as many qualities as defects: the brilliant artistic design and the good environmental puzzles get counter-balanced by lots of bugs and imprecise controls. All in all, it's definitely a game worth trying for Limbo-like games lovers.- MondoXbox

A great reinvention of the classic adventure franchise with vivid visuals, a fresh gameplay and brilliant storytelling. Our unique issue was with the complete lack of localization, which makes it more difficult to recommend in our country: that's totally unexpected from a publisher like Activision/Sierra.- MondoXbox

Hotel Barcelona stands out for its unique style, gradually revealing strong gameplay after a shaky start. Flawed design, balance choices, and technical issues limit its impact, and like the B-movies it emulates, it entertains without cutting deep. Yet its atmosphere and personality linger, giving it the potential to become a cult classic: imperfect, but memorable for genre fans.- MondoXbox

Madden 22 looks like a sort of transition edition: it winks at the next-gen but doesn't fully exploit its potential, adds interesting new features but doesn't fully rectify some old flaws. The gameplay is still very good, but we are partially disappointed by the lack of the quality leap we were expecting.- MondoXbox

eFootball PES 2021 Season Update reissues the same, excellent game of last year with updated players and licenses. Seen the budget price, it's recommended to soccer lovers that didn't play the previous game, while it's hard to suggest it to fans who spent tens or thousands of hours on PES 2020.- MondoXbox

Gunscape sports a good editor to create and share any level we want, but it's held back by a too few available shapes and restrictive rules set. If you've got a creative mind and love classical FPS games, though, this could guarantee hours upon hours of enjoyment.- MondoXbox

Nostalgia is strong in this collection, and some of the games like DuckTales and Darkwing Duck aged pretty well resulting in an entertaining experience yet today. But others aren't as well, and why not putting in the remastered edition for DuckTales?- MondoXbox
