Characterized by an 80's look, Hyperdrive Massacre is a hectic and bizarre space car battle party game; with friends - and multiple controllers - at home it becomes very absorbing and thrilling, but otherwise it won't have much use due to lack of online multiplayer support.- MondoXbox

A very good action game, with a great combat system an a brilliant set of characters. Unluckily this remaster edition doesn't add enough content to be really compelling to the ones who already played it in the past, so it's mainly recommended to those who skipped it originally.- MondoXbox

Green Hell is a good story-driven survival game, even if with some problems with the controls and the initial difficulty. The co-op play option is also excellent, allowing players to distribute tasks making the whole experience more enjoyable.- MondoXbox

A captivating, yet not much original, twin stick shooter capable of delivering a good experience to lovers of the genre, but its lack of real innovations and variety ends up making it quickly repetitive.- MondoXbox

A nice mash-up between Trials and Blood Dragon's 80s parody, but it feels a bit short in content for the price it's sold at.- MondoXbox

LEGO Rock Band made some steps to make music games more accessible to families and children, but it gets lost in the songs list, too small and poor of real pop hits, at least for us Europeans. It's a nice gift for a kid (you'll have to separately buy the instruments, too), but not very interesting for music games hardcore fans.- MondoXbox

Song of Iron offers us a fascinating and cinematic world, capable of effectively evoking the world of the Vikings and their mythology, but it counter-balances this with some technical issues and a bit too rough combat system, making the experience inconsistent and frustrating at times. I would however still recommend it, primarily to enthusiasts of Norse culture.- MondoXbox

The Sexy Brutale introduces a very interesting and original concept having us re-live over and over the same day like in a video gaming version of Groundhog Day. The gameplay, though, isn't deep enough and doesn't offer any replay value even if still worthy of being played.- MondoXbox

Sonic Colours Ultimate isn't too convincing as a remaster, but it's still one of the best Sonic games of the last two decades. It doesn't fix the shortcomings of the first game and it also introduces some bugs and balancing issues, but it remains fun and spectacular; it' recommended especially to those who have never played the original.- MondoXbox

Even if Marvel super heroes are very popular, this game revealed to be a very niche one, mainly due to the inexplicable lack of any Italian translation even in the game menus, making it unapproachable by people without a good English understanding.- MondoXbox

Zombie Army Trilogy offers us a solid and entertaining gameplay, better suited for co-op play. Too bad for its lack of variety and repetition: it risks boring you pretty quickly after the very first missions.- MondoXbox

LEGO Marvel's Avengers keeps all the aspects of the last titles in the franchise, for better or worse; parents and kids will love playing it together, but a renewal of the series is now long overdue. Especially when titles like LEGO City Undercover and LEGO Dimensions showed us TT Games is capable of doing much more.- MondoXbox

Song of Horror manages to successfully capture the tension and feeling of old school horror games, but it falls a bit too often in frustrating mechanics. It remains an interesting game to explore, though.- MondoXbox

Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe+ delivers a pleasant 3D platform adventure, with a satisfying gameplay and varied environments. It just lacks in the visuals side with too simplistic and flat graphics, but it will surely be a satisfying experience also for kids and newcomers to the genre.- MondoXbox

A very nice and satisfying top-down open word game, bringing back vibes of the first GTA games. It shines during the car chases, while the shooting system feels imprecise and the indoor thefs mini-game end up being boring very quickly, but this is definitely a game to try by lovers of open world games.- MondoXbox

It wasn't easy to stay true to the legacy of an IP like Wolfenstein, but Raven Software managed to do an appreciable work despite some setbacks, like in the case of the lackluster online multiplayer, that concur to lower our final vote. If you're looking for an alternative FPS with a solid plot, some original gameplay mechanics and great atmosphere, this will be a good buy.- MondoXbox

Serial Cleaners is a stealth game with a unique concept and an apt visual style, but with not too original gameplay by the standards of the genre. Nevertheless, the excellent presentation makes it a worthy title for all fans of the genre.- MondoXbox

A fun and engaging game troubled by a lacking technical production, even if Rebellion made a good job trying to overcome it with a great environments design. And in view of its more tactical and stealth approach, we would have liked a less linear and driven levels structure too.- MondoXbox

Close to the Sun offers an intriguing plot revolving around Nikola Tesla's theories and interesting steampunk environments, but it could have been more compelling with better puzzles and more variety. All in all, though, it's an interesting first-person adventure.- MondoXbox

Homefront didn't manage to deliver on its high potential: for a very good plot and solid gameplay, we find an excessive shortness in the single player experience, a lacking multiplayer and an unpolished techical side.- MondoXbox

An incredibly frantic roguelike action game, with pleasing graphics and a good humor. Its main downside is a too repetitive combat system, where you'll end up using the same 2-3 combos again and again and again.- MondoXbox

Red Faction Armageddon delivers the usual - and even enhanced - amount of spectacular destruction and physics play, but we found the experience to be more limited than the previous game due to the linear gameplay and the removal of the great competitive multiplayer Guerrilla had. If you're a fan of the previous game, Armageddon will probably disappoint you; otherwise it's a solid third person shooter with a very satisfying destructive soul.- MondoXbox

A mixed bag, with immediate and easy to learn controls but lacking depth and challenge. Even the depiction of great historic players succeeds only in part, with each player behaving too similarly to the others. A good starting game for begninners, but not enough for hardcore fans.- MondoXbox
