This is still a decently made and somewhat entertaining video game with great potential for expansion. The fact that it's free also helps.- Modojo

Sniper-shooting aside, Guardian Cross doesn't do a huge amount that's different to the many other card games on the App Store. But crucially, it's polished the experience to a hitherto unseen level of refinement in its art, interface and engagement.- Modojo

For some, its physics-based frustrations will be too much to bear, while for others the rewards for mastering the game will be self-evident. We couldn't entirely love it ourselves, but that's not to say there won't be those who will.- Modojo

If you're a fan of endless runners, Miner Problem is undoubtedly worth a shot. It's free-to-play and has enough content to take a few runs with. Just don't expect to stick with the game for too long before the whole thing crumbles apart.- Modojo

Mario Party: Island Tour feels like a step backwards for the series, thanks to an uninspiring mini-game collection and an often grating single player experience. Fans of the series may want to check it out, but others can easily let this tour boat pass them by.- Modojo

A solid portable shooter crippled by rapidly aging hardware. It's tough going from even an iPad shooter like Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation to this. Of course, if all you own is a DS, it's one of the better first person titles for the system, but that's not saying much.- Modojo

It's an embarrassment to the sport of basketball as portrayed by videogames, a pick-up game between ten players who have broken legs and are trying to walk on them.- Modojo

Had Where's My Water? 2 followed the same pricing structure as the original, it would've fared much better. It's a good sequel; just one that may drain your wallet.- Modojo

Naruto: Path of the Ninja doesn't go out of its way to offend anybody. It's thoroughly playable from beginning to end without any major problems, but the little things along the way tend to stick in your craw.- Modojo

For now, it'll have to settle for being average, and we expect Com2uS to release new updates that will make it a high quality product. That said, if you're in desperate search of an outstanding golf title for your mobile, Gameloft's Let's Golf 3 is still the undisputed king.- Modojo

Despite the complaints, we continue to play The Other Brothers because it's still a decent game. There are a ton of collectible oil cans to track down, and the sheer size of its stages inspire us to continue adventuring, just to see everything the game has to offer.- Modojo

Although Deca Sports DS doesn't come close to being a top sports game, it's a decent pick-up. The multiplayer connectivity and inclusion of particular sports (particularly Sepak Takraw) make this worth at least a rental.- Modojo

Traditional shooter fans will likely find the pace of gameplay a little too slow for their liking at first, but once you settle into the rhythm of things you'll understand that this is a very enjoyable game of cautious cat-and-mouse. It's just a shame those in-app purchases put such a dent in the game's otherwise very solid armor.- Modojo

Kill Shot is a mediocre shooting title. The gameplay is solid and can be a lot of fun, but the in game add-ons and the stamina system hamper the experience.- Modojo

With nothing new in story, gameplay, or looks, Dynasty Warriors Vol. 2 eventually suffers the same fate as the previous games before it- it just gets too old, too damn quick.- Modojo

Once you beat the game (few hours at best), there's no reason to return, other than to torture yourself further. That said, unless you're a masochist, avoid The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon.- Modojo

A tough sell at $39.99. At that price, we expected more depth to the experience, plus additional modes. And yet, we can't help but smile as a large and horned monstrosity squashes several goblins flat, only to get decapitated moments later, its head sailing through the air, leaving a bloody trail in its wake.- Modojo

Highly recommended for being one of the best hack and slash games to hit the App Store, full of cool artwork, a rocking soundtrack and sweet monster killing gameplay. Dive into this fantasy world and bag some slugs.- Modojo

High Flyer Death Defyer is one of the worst titles we've played and needs a huge update to correct its many flaws. Until that happens, avoid this one.- Modojo

Another solid retro homage, made even more appealing by the fact that it's free. That said, the high level of frustration makes it a bit too polarizing. You'll either relish the challenge, or delete the game out of anger.- Modojo

What we're left with then is a game that looks fantastic, and has a sprinkling of strategy in the wider game, but is unashamedly built around extracting money from players first and foremost. Those with a great deal of patience - or a great deal of money - won't be bothered by these problems, but we found the monetization to be overbearing, turning the game into a spreadsheet that's as expensive as it is pretty. Unless you have deep pockets, there's simply not enough gameplay here.- Modojo

Don't get us wrong. Dream Chaser isn't bad per se. It's just woefully average. Considering the huge amount of competition when it comes to endless runners and Chillingo's pedigree, we expected better.- Modojo

WWE WrestleFest is the best wrestling game on the App Store, but that's only because there are so few to choose from. THQ had the opportunity to do something brilliant, but poorly designed A.I. ruined what could have been a sweet revival.- Modojo

Bottom line, Little Deviants is a good game. If anything it brings to mind numerous iPhone and iPad titles we've seen over the years. Thing is, none of those games cost $29.99 individually, and would probably not cost more than $6.99 in one package. As it stands, this game doesn't have what it takes to compete against Vita's better offerings, but if you give it a chance (and have the money to burn), it does the job.- Modojo

I cannot fault this collection for having some games I could find boring. But I don't mind giving an average score to a collection which aimed only for the bare-bones of success.- Modojo

It's a juddering, technically incompetent, nauseating, migraine-inducing example of non-fun, with level design that sucks whatever joy might otherwise have been had from the game. It costs nothing to download and will drive you up the wall in exchange for your time.- Modojo

Ninja Council 3 is a frustrating and bland affair that has little to recommend it besides the extensive character roster from a recognizable license. It's not technically broken in any way, but there is no reason to purchase a game like this when there are so many other options available that are more enjoyable.- Modojo
