The real kicker, though, is the price. Namco Bandai gives away the short prologue free of charge, then asks for a ridiculous $8.99 to unlock the rest of the game. If you have the cash to burn, Time Crisis: 2nd Strike HD is a solid purchase, but we suggest waiting for a price drop, or going with the cheaper iPhone version.- Modojo

I like the idea behind it. But I wish some more attention was given to the fighting engine.- Modojo

It's still a fun Bejeweled clone, and you'll need a few hours to clear its puzzles, but we needed something innovative.- Modojo

Crazy Taxi: City Rush is a strange riff on the classic game, but it does come into its own as a pleasing alternative to the original. Unfortunately, its reliance on free-to-play currency does end up making it more frustrating than it should be.- Modojo

Do give it a go, but unless we get a premium version of the game in the months ahead, do be prepared for long-term disappointment.- Modojo

There's a great chance you'll run into the usual in-app purchase wall that ultimately mars free-to-play video games, but for the most part (and given what it is), Dark Avenger is a decent though unremarkable iPhone and iPad effort that'll give you something else to play in between releases. With this title, the less you expect, the more it entertains.- Modojo

Whether you're a fan of zombie games or not, you'll find plenty of content here that is fun. The gameplay is tight and lacks really any sort of gimmick. The only qualms I had was that the gameplay wasn't varied enough for the length of the game, but it was still a blast till the end.- Modojo

Essentially a collection of the same old stuff we've been playing on the PS2 for the last few years, Blazin' Trails fails to tantalize the senses but rather frays the nerves with a sloppy frame rate and awkward controls.- Modojo

Jelly Splash is sure to find an audience, especially for those who have sworn off Candy Crush Saga because they can't get past that one level. It's enjoyable to play and a pleasure to look at, but chances are you'll run into a similar problem, either forking over some cash or waiting that 25-minute period. Bring your skills, and maybe a little patience.- Modojo

Back to Bed is practically oozing with visual charm, but it can't back it up with weak gameplay and a lack of replay value. Perhaps the developers should have slept on it a bit longer.- Modojo

Most of the games are fun, but not all of them are winners, and the presentation isn't as blown-out crazy as the forthcoming Hot PXL or the Wario Ware games.- Modojo

If you're looking for a good zombie fix this Halloween, Undead Knights should be on the top of your list. The addictive zombie-commanding action, multiplayer options and blood-soaked presentation will make you want to join this legion.- Modojo

Extended Play could have been a little better in terms of its presentation and some of its title selections (why no Hydro Thunder?), but it's a good start for the series' portable run, and I hope that future chapters continue to bring us the best of Midway's gaming past.- Modojo

Rest assured that if you absolutely adore this series, Katamari Amore delivers more of the same. Whether or not that's good enough, though, is entirely up to you.- Modojo

Despite feeling like a grind at times - especially when it comes to waiting on a stamina refill or buying new goods - Batman: Arkham Origins will certainly put a smile on the faces of Batman fans. A fair offering to fill the gap until the console game comes out.- Modojo

To play as the other demons, and enjoy their music and rhythm patterns in the corridor sections, you'll have to shell out an astonishing $2.99 per demon, or simply put up with repetitive corridor runs to get to the better stuff. If you think CSR Racing was greedy, you ain't seen nothing yet.- Modojo

The Tower SP is a good concept for a sim title, and the game is fun enough, for sim fans. It's moderate fun-factor shows that a sequel brought up to 2006's standards for depth and challenge would be excellent.- Modojo
