The total package. It's fun, it's involved, and it's portable. Some of you will no doubt have worries that the A.I. may be too challenging or that the career mode may be too time consuming. With regards to those concerns, my only advice is that you cowboy up.
-
Packs enough features to rocket it over a dozen lined-up trailer trucks, but the clunky graphics engine and stiff control give it a ramp that's might make you think twice about trying to air over a VW Bug.
-
Unfortunately, the control isn't anywhere near at tight as the previous PS2 games, and you'll often find yourself overcompensating and weaving around the track. It doesn't ruin the game, but it makes it harder than it was designed to be.
-
There were times when this game aggravated me so much I wanted to throw down the controller, before I realized I was holding a $250 controller.
-
Hopefully if Climax releases another PSP version, they work the kinks out, because this one needs some polish.
-
Unless you are a die-hard ATV fan who can put up with frustrating gameplay mechanics, I cannot recommend ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin’ Trails to you.
-
BoomtownOkay, the gloves are off. I really dislike this game. The titular fury is so apparent after just one race.
