Being a hardcore Pokemaniac, it really hurts to see yet another Pokemon game succumb to mediocrity.- Modojo

There's no denying that Sudoku Gridmaster is a somewhat boring release, but its very clear in what it is and what it is attempting to accomplish, and I feel it accomplishes it quite well. I think it's a better Sudoku experience than what's included in "Brain Age", but that probably only really matters to those that are really into the puzzle.- Modojo

Robocop is hardly the best representation of the cybernetic officer we've seen - the classic Data East arcade game still can't be beat - but Glu Games did better than expected with the movie adaptation, providing plenty of shooting frills and good-looking graphics. When it comes to shoot-em-up goodness, we'd buy that for a dollar.- Modojo

Harvey Birdman's big problem, however, is length. The five cases will take you a few hours to get through, at best.- Modojo

So while we expect the Presidential race to get especially nasty in the months ahead, some lighthearted fun is just what both sides need.- Modojo

Just forget about NFL 2011. While it looks and sounds like a true contender, its gameplay keeps it from winning in overtime.- Modojo

It's far clumsier and less polished than the big-name endless-runners, yet it packs in considerably more variety through the dynamic environments.- Modojo

One of the more humorous and enjoyable endless-running zombie games we've played. Granted, it's short on options. It won't take long to plow through each stage, and beyond that, there's an unlockable Survival Mode, but for $0.99, ShaqDown is a basketball-whipping, mutant-punching riot.- Modojo

If you can get over the fiddly controls and erratic challenge of Rabbids Big Bang, you'll probably get a dollar's worth of fun out of the game, and it's by no means without its charms. Those with less patience - and who expect the same degree of polish as that found in more famous physics puzzlers - should proceed more cautiously.- Modojo

The game has its faults and frustrations, but it also has its moments of enjoyment too, and there's undoubtedly the building blocks of a far more enjoyable game that we hope either an update, or a sequel, can introduce.- Modojo

With a more ambitious battle system and less ripped-off Pokemon stuff, Dinosaur King would've earned its throne. Unfortunately, it's more like a Dinosaur court jester. Off with its head.- Modojo

To be fair, Hell Yeah! Pocket Inferno isn't a bad game per se. The artwork sets it apart from the competition, and scoring three stars for each level will take a while. At the same time, there's little to distinguish the game from the numerous runners readily available, and we can't help but wish Sega would have just ported Wrath of the Dead Rabbit to iOS instead of publishing a companion title that for the most part is a mere shadow of its console counterpart. Worth $0.99, but let's face it, you've probably experienced a game like this before.- Modojo

It's not often you see a serviceable third-person shooter for mobile, especially one suited for all ages. That said, DuckTales: Scrooge's Loot is worth diving into - even if you don't have your own custom money bin.- Modojo

The cars handle alright, but on a tight turn at high speeds, they drift like crazy. As a result, you'll sometimes find yourself falling right off the track, or going into a distant second when all you want to do is keep up.- Modojo

Probably what affects the game the worst would be the graphics. Sony and Page 44 Studios were obviously in some sort of quick effort to put the game on the PSP, as the graphics appear to be mostly blocky and underdone.- Modojo

We had a concern when we previewed the game that the game's pace and repetition may go against it in the end, and it's certainly true that (boss-fights aside) the game becomes a bit of a trudge once you've taken on the first dozen or so levels.- Modojo

All of the playable characters possess unique abilities, in addition to the many power-ups you can activate during play. The Twins, for example, can run underneath obstructions without having to slide, while the Troll just smashes things to pieces.- Modojo

After all of the hype about the story, the Death Jr. comic book, and the upcoming film, one would think that the actual game would include a kick @$$ story, but that's just not the case.- Modojo

The variety of missions is helpful, but stealth missions become increasingly maddening, and when you're trying to "save" someone, it ends up being more of a daunting task than you expected.- Modojo

With such limited play options the enjoyment becomes dependent on depth, and this is where Honeycomb Beat's greatest shortcoming comes to light: longevity. Puzzle mode is quite extensive, but the joy wears off quickly as things get harder and you often find yourself stumped.- Modojo

If you grew tired of this type of game, there's little about Samurai Warriors: Chronicles that'll pull you back into the series. At the same time, it's still an impressive and surprisingly enjoyable title that showcases the 3DS' graphical capabilities.- Modojo

Ultimately, Gameloft chose to make Dungeon Hunter 3 more casual friendly while experimenting with in-app purchases. Probably not the greatest decision, given the largely negative reaction from the iOS community, but as a hack and slash title, it's worth a try.- Modojo
