Evil West is a solid mix of third person shooter with hack and slash, with a satisfying and varied combat system, and an attractive setting that unites western, vampire and steampunk. The excessive repetition of enemies and situations, and a discreet technical section, do not prevent us from recommending this really fun and compelling video game.

For all those Monster Hunter friendly fans out there, God Eater represents one of the best choises to make nowadays if willing to play some hunt-and-roll style. Its pretty difficil not to fall under 'Burst' enchants, although the control mechanics fails from time to time. If you aren't looking for an intriguing story, this is the best choice to make. FIFA Manager 10 comes without extreme realism, but it is designed to reach our goals faster than other games of its kind. It is not necessary to trace a complicated path from the start of our career to our greatest achievement, because we will be able to get them from its own beginning. The graphics are superb, maybe the best we have seen in this game series. It is a smooth and enjoyable game, halfway between a simulator and a comprehensive management title.

MX vs. ATV Reflex has become the best title in the series and sets up new bases in the offroad racing genre. The biggest changes in the game are the new control system, called Rider Reflex, which allows us to feel closer to the dangerous driving on these awesome bikes, and the new Rhythm Racing 2.0 graphics engine, which despite some technical failures, provides details that will probably be used in the next racing games, such as real-time deformation of the ground. Fans of these races will be pleased with this progress. Maybe other users will feel frustrated by an unbalanced difficulty curve and some graphical issues.

But although the story of the twins, Jacob and Eve, has better elements than last year's Unity, it reinforces the fact that the whole series needs at least a year of two of rest and gathering new ideas. Yes, we have a grapple like Batman, and even horse vehicles, a great background scenario, a town to control and gangs of crooks to lead, along with the usual array of side-quests. On the other hand, they are also much more permissive releases, with facilities during the adventure that cannot be turned off and that help too much in once-challenging situations. They are very conformist titles. The return of the random encounters did not convince us, especially after seeing how well the ability to see creatures in the environment worked. With plenty of content thanks to the Grand Underground and a generous endgame, it will provide plenty of hours of gameplay even though they are limited to the first four Pokémon generations. The 25th Ward is an interesting game which has an intricate story with complex moments that makes hard to know what's happening. Besides that having three different stories that get crisscross at some point, a good soundtrack with many types of music and some moments that are like retro games are its best points.

Ambitious on paper, Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is one of those games that runs up against a budget that limits its good ideas. Technically, this Masquerade needs an overhaul, improved animations and textures. And in the gameplay there is a certain imbalance in sections such as puzzles and basic tasks that only extend the duration without contributing anything. But as a Vampire game it's worth it, especially in its deployability, because the world of The Masquerade is really well implemented. If you're a fan, give it the Embrace and become its Sire while you wait for the arrival of the messiah Bloodlines 2.
