Amnesia is an interesting games with some good ideas. Its pace is slow, its gameplay is not common and its narrative could be better, but it delivers what hardcore horror fans may be looking for. Ideal for those who love having a bad time with their PCs, and as the game itself recommends, it's better to play in a pitch black room.

The unique combination of narrative and gameplay with internet browsing makes Hypnospace Outlaw a very interesting experience, and the impressively detailed (although slightly exaggerated) reproduction of the end 90's internet makes it a recommendable (albeit short and not too replayable) investigation title.

An example of IP with personality, Atelier's series can be recognized just taking at look at the screen. After Escha & Logy, Tecmo brings to the West another Atelier, second in a row in the same year, to keep the fans of its crafting system entertained the whole summer. It's better in all aspects than the original Rorona, but if you have already played that back in 2010, this Plus version dosen't have so many new things to pay again for the experience unless we are real fans of the game. Journey to the Savage Planet was a pleasant surprise because it offered us the chance to delve into a kind of Metroid Prime that was much more casual than Retro Studios' title. But although the story of the twins, Jacob and Eve, has better elements than last year's Unity, it reinforces the fact that the whole series needs at least a year of two of rest and gathering new ideas. Yes, we have a grapple like Batman, and even horse vehicles, a great background scenario, a town to control and gangs of crooks to lead, along with the usual array of side-quests.
