Trying a little departure from the Atelier's Arland trilogy, Ayesha brings new elements, like a combat system with more options and a revamped item-crafting system. Maybe its visuals are poor in texture quality, but Atelier Ayesha sure feels like a regular entry in the series.- Meristation

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is one of the most satisfying games of the genre thus far; but it’s not the most varied game of the series. Omega Force does make a huge step forward in its game mechanics, but also simplifies the strategy and tactics during the missions. Plus, there are just six playable arcs, something odd given the big number included in the prior entry. Still, this is a must play adventure for any Mugiwara fan.- Meristation

Overall, Ridge Racer: Unbounded is a good arcade racing game, which offers many interesting features like its multiplayer modes, the track creator, the destruction of environments. Another year, another Assassin's Creed. This year the series takes us to another dazzling historical setting like the Victorian times, the London of the Industrial Revolution. But although the story of the twins, Jacob and Eve, has better elements than last year's Unity, it reinforces the fact that the whole series needs at least a year of two of rest and gathering new ideas. Yes, we have a grapple like Batman, and even horse vehicles, a great background scenario, a town to control and gangs of crooks to lead, along with the usual array of side-quests. But there plenty of elements that, if allowed time to polish, would have made Syndicate as big, fun and entertaining as others like AC II or Black Flag.- Meristation

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are a worthy return to Sinnoh, respectful remakes that seek to offer exactly the same experience as the original Nintendo DS works; albeit with new conveniences that help the pace of the adventure while borrowing quality-of-life details already established in the series. On the other hand, they are also much more permissive releases, with facilities during the adventure that cannot be turned off and that help too much in once-challenging situations. They are very conformist titles. The return of the random encounters did not convince us, especially after seeing how well the ability to see creatures in the environment worked. With plenty of content thanks to the Grand Underground and a generous endgame, it will provide plenty of hours of gameplay even though they are limited to the first four Pokémon generations. All of this, coupled with a beautiful art style despite being low-key on a graphical level, makes for an unmissable trip to Sinnoh for fans; especially those planning to play Pokémon Legends Arceus in a couple of months.- Meristation

Ambitious on paper, Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is one of those games that runs up against a budget that limits its good ideas. Technically, this Masquerade needs an overhaul, improved animations and textures. And in the gameplay there is a certain imbalance in sections such as puzzles and basic tasks that only extend the duration without contributing anything. After Escha & Logy, Tecmo brings to the West another Atelier, second in a row in the same year, to keep the fans of its crafting system entertained the whole summer. It's better in all aspects than the original Rorona, but if you have already played that back in 2010, this Plus version dosen't have so many new things to pay again for the experience unless we are real fans of the game. Using a background, elements and references to classic Horror and FantaTerror, Tape: Unveil the memories is one of those effective games that comes to tell you a story and that's it. In this case, one with very uncomfortable elements that the videogame doesn't usually use, although it doesn't take advantage of them either. The original use of the camera, the good sound design, the elements of Galicia and its Fantastic tradition stand out in a game that strangely doesn't want to be a horror game and continually refuses to scare, nor does it create tension. But the narrative ride, puzzles and its scripted surprises are well worth the experience.- Meristation

Tanuki Justice feels exactly like a 90s platformer, with its colourful levels and cute characters that, combined with the difficult but well crafted levels make it a recommendable game for any retro player.- Meristation

It lacks game modes, it lacks some replay value and it has some of the most frustrating elements in an sports videogame to date. And still it's the best football game recently released on PC. Plus, you can equip your QB with a shotgun. Beat that, Madden!- Meristation

A great psychological thriller where its potential resides in its puzzles and its oppressive atmosphere.- Meristation

The dragon's return has not occurred with the same force as expected. Fans will have their ration of TES: Online for a while, but Elsweyr feels less than the previous two expansions.- Meristation

Warlock: Master of the Arcane is a highly addictive and entertaining game, although it would not meet the need of a nicely-updated Master of Magic. The game perfectly fulfills the expectations raised and offers good content at an affordable price. And this is quite important these days. If it keeps growing in the right way (through some DLCs) it would become an unforgettable game, but needs to improve its AI and add more options.- Meristation

Acquire has made its job innovating with a franchise that was almost set up to death. Our objective is to kill without being noticed, so we'll definitely use shadows to hide and to proceed with an instant murder. Quite impressive visuals lacking a better gameplay system is very much what we're going to find on the latest installment of Tenchu.- Meristation

PES2010 hits the post this year. It's basically the same game we've enjoyed during the last 12 months, with same graphics and gameplay mechanics. Plus, there's no sign of the Online Features, and the only new inclusion's the UEFA Champions League. It's not that much, but it's still one of the most interesting football games for this handheld.- Meristation

Fun, but not quite what we were expecting from a Mario sportive franchise. Square Enix has managed to create an entertaining game lacking multiple game options and a variety of sports. It's a multiplayers focused experience, so if you're looking for something interesting to play with a couple of friends, here's the best choise so far on 2011.- Meristation

The improvements received in Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters are scarce enough to make the player interested in him. The mechanics continue to work but perhaps it would have been better to launch it as downloadable content.- Meristation
