A great platformer and one of the best Sonic games in side scrolling. Along with Wii’s The Secret Rings it’s probably enough to dislodge Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360 and PS3 from our memory. [Nov 2007]

Even to gamers more used to Bioware and Bethesda, it’s still a great proposition to everyone who likes RPGs, with its delightful backstory and visuals. [Nov 2007]

This is quite a contradictory game. The console has so many titles available that this one doesn’t really stand out, but it’s nevertheless a good Donkey Kong. Some of the levels are really creative, but others become quite frustrating because they require too much of the controls, which are innovative but not very precise. [Jan 2008]

Its original concept and great execution makes something more of what might have been just another platformer. It’s quite a treat to see our own creations in the game world. [Nov 2007]

It’s still a good game, but unfortunately it doesn’t offer anything that’s different or relevant when compared to last year’s title. This time, EA Sport’s rival "NHL 08" takes the throne. [Dec 2007]

Early on, the controls reveal themselves as almost unplayable. Even the excellent production values are not enough to mask all its problems. [Nov 2007]

With some great moments full of humor, great voice acting and some original ideas, Dead Head Fred could have been something else if it managed to get the combat right. Still, it’s something different for PSP owners. [Jan 2008]

The excellent control system is not the only virtue of Retro Studios. The brilliant level design and the absence of any technical flaw makes Metroid Prime 3 a Wii masterpiece. [Nov 2007]

An excellent mix between FPS, RPG and adventure, Bioshock challenges conventions to bring us a game where the choices available to the player are the focus of its innovative and creative gameplay. It’s not a perfect game, but it’s without a doubt an unforgettable experience. The main candidate to the GOTY award rests its case. [Sept 2007, p.59]

Although it tries to be a enjoyable recreation of a board game, the interface, camera and even its own complexity damage an experience that doesn’t seem to fit on a portable console. [Nov 2007]

Between an RPG and a variant of The Sims, Persona 3 is a title that shouldn’t be missed by anyone who craves for a different experience. The story is not only good but also intriguing and the amount of things that you have to do and manage can be a little overwhelming. [March 2008]

Don’t be fooled by it’s cute 2D visuals and the sidescrolling format that reminds us of the old 16 bit platformers, because this is a great strategy game. It can be chaotic at times, and there aren’t many different levels. But everything else makes up for it. [Dec 2007]

With arenas full of color and 3D Pokémons, it might be of interest to anyone who likes the franchise, but it’s kind of short and doesn’t offer a lot of variety. An adventure mode might have been a good idea. [Dec 2007]

If you like fast paced beat ‘em ups and you’re familiar with the anime, you can find some fun here. But some of the combats with very specific victory conditions can be quite frustrating and the exploring before the fights could have been better. [Dec 2007]

Although it makes good use of the stylus, the combat system is not as good as any of the many alternatives available on the DS. It can be a little repetitive, but if you play in short sessions, it could mean fun to the more patient gamers. [Dec 2007]

The combats are great but it’s not an easy experience because it requires a huge dedication from the player to level up his party and to manage inventory and skills. [Nov 2007]
