Although there’s some new stuff, it sticks with last year’s formula. Which probably wouldn’t be that bad if the same old problems didn’t remain intact, from the limited AI to the graphical bugs, not forgetting those annoying loading screens. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It manages to escape the curse that haunted previous similar efforts from Capcom. It’s not highly recommendable, but offers some interesting moments for eager fans of the series. Good effort Capcom, but can we have Resi 5 now, please? [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Only die hard action fans will find reasons to be interested, and only if they can get over the terrible plot structure and some of its gameplay problems. It had a lot more to offer, but leaves a bitter taste of disappointment. Not Io’s greatest moment, a company that’s really capable of so much better. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

With its peculiar fighting system, it’s the best recreation of the fights that we saw on TV, that really come alive with the great cel shading visuals. More than 150 characters, the campaign and tournament modes and the encyclopedias make it just perfect for DB fans. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

We welcome with open arms the change of attitude and approach of this new Need for Speed. But we frown upon some of the problems that were left unsolved, like the structure of the career mode but mainly on the handling of the cars. But for those who turned their backs on the previous games, it’s a good place to return to this franchise. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It doesn’t make any changes on the mechanics of the original. Which is good if all you’re interested in is to be the fastest character to cross the finish line…but bad because it becomes boring after a while and doesn’t add anything new. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

With its basic use of the touch screen, this DS version was made much like its mobile counterpart. And that shows on the lack of freedom of movement and simplistic visuals. Even the strategic elements aren’t enough to rescue it from mediocrity. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

There’s a lot of intense moments in the single player campaign and the multiplayer supports 32 players. The PSP doesn’t have a lot of good FPS in its catalogue but Heroes 2 follows the same pattern of quality shown by the original title. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The abilities that offers the player, like the invisibility, vision mode and the Predator weapons, are well implemented in the control scheme of the PSP. But the levels are somewhat empty and all the action is extremely repetitive and boring. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

In the line of WarioWare Touched!, here is another good casual game for DS. It’s funny and quite intuitive, especially in the competitive mode, but it’s also repetitive and sometimes frustrating. [Sept 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It’s probably closer to perfection than most of the games that we’ve played this year. You just can’t miss an experience that’s pure fun and can put a smile on your face from start to finish. Buy it, borrow it... just play it. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Not that we were expecting something big from this game. But something like this, unfinished and with no personality whatsoever, will quickly drown in a highly competitive industry... even more so if it’s an FPS. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Even without offering something new to anyone who knows the franchise, it still manages to be a surprise. It’s pretty well executed for a portable game and the sound atmosphere is unsettling… as you might expect from a Silent Hill title. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It tries hard to be a good mixture of action, strategy and RPG. But its repetitive nature, limited gameplay and few strategic options make for a boring experience. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

A very linear FPS that doesn’t add anything new, even for those who enjoyed the first game. It still uses the same old trick to provoke tension and easy scares on the player, but it doesn’t seem to have the same effect as before. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It’s one of those cases that could easily pass for an expansion of previous titles, but those similarities are also one of its stronger points. There are some highly challenging battles here, especially if you want to keep all of the party members alive. [Apr 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The natural evolution of Infinity Ward’s franchise is the best action game of the year, thanks to all the tension and cinematic feel of the single player campaign, alongside one of the most addictive multiplayer experiences on consoles. Highly recommended, even if you’re not an FPS fan. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

We might say that this game was a bit “unlucky” with its release date, because it can’t measure up with some of the FPS that came out this year. The truth is, although the time controls are a fun idea, everything else is a carbon copy of every other generic shooter out there. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

For its target audience, one of the strongest points of this game will be the fact that they can play with Ben, and the super heroes he can transform in. Those who only wish that can add a few extra points to the final rating. However, the remaining players will have to deal with the fact that the game is too limited, too easy, and too repetitive. Younger players might want this game for its cute characters, but it’s not as fun as it looks. It’s possible that some less demanding children might like it, but there are better party games available out there. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The way it makes fun of the videogame culture is pure Simpsons genius, but the gameplay gets in the way of all the fun. Fans will still have their Simpsons fix, but the marriage between two different mediums (the TV show and the videogame) doesn’t work out very well. [Nov 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The simplicity of all its elements is kind of a trademark for this Battalion Wars. But that can also be held against the game, because it could use a little more depth. But if you think of it for what it is and not for what it could have been you can enjoy it properly. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

As fun and addictive as the previous ones, although the increased difficulty might be a little intimidating to anyone who intends to join the Guitar Hero cult at this later stage. But the new Les Paul guitars, the co-op career and the fabulous track list form, once again, an incredible experience. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Makes use of the pretty interesting technology from the PS Eye. Although it’s essentially a multiplayer experience, it stands out as the most different game in PS3 Xmas catalogue. [Nov 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)
