Bloodroots is a very entertaining game. The influence of Hotline Miami looks good on this game, matching its artistic style very well. However, it loses momentum half way through, with the story becoming predictable, the levels introducing frustrating mechanics, and even by suffering from technical errors.- Malditos Nerds

A very skilled hybrid game between point-and-click adventure and platformer. The plot and the surprises it has in store make it a very special, unique and absolutely satisfying game.- Malditos Nerds

Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection lives up to the circumstances, not only because it includes 6 six fantastic games, but also because of the quality of the emulation and the extras.- Malditos Nerds

Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind is designed for true fans of the series, being the Final Mix that fans were waiting for. But its high price, even for the most loyal ones, is undoubtedly its weakest and most critical point.- Malditos Nerds

The biggest flaw in Infliction: Extended Cut are its similarities to so many other games. Many of its mechanics and design decisions have already been seen, but players who love horror will be hooked by its creepy atmosphere and story.- Malditos Nerds

Zombie Army 4: Dead War is easy to recommend on PC and Xbox One for its low price, but not so much on Playstation 4. The improvements over the original trilogy are noticeable, both in quality and in variety, and if you have company in this zombie hell, you'll find a satisfying experience that has a lot to offer.- Malditos Nerds

Arc of Alchemist is a game I can't even recommend to fans of Compile Heart. It's a frustrating experience with an uninteresting combat and a boring story.- Malditos Nerds

Dreams is finally out and the creativity of the community is starting to flourish. Even though there are still a lot of clones of other franchises and none of them have a particularly good gameplay, more robust experiences can be found and a few original games can also be a good time. However, the real appeal of Dreams lies in the creative tools and the collective game design that's being built around it. Creators from all over the world are getting together to create games in a platform that is unique and incredibly important to the industry.- Malditos Nerds

Kunai is a fantastic experience. It delights us with a charming main character and an action challenge that is always adding something new to keep us hooked. Undoubtedly, one of the best games of 2020 so far.- Malditos Nerds

The Pedestrian may look like another simple skill-platformer, but the sum of all ofits additional elements —setting, aesthetics, original mechanics— makes it a great game for every fan of the genre.- Malditos Nerds

It's a shame that The Blind Prophet fails so bad because its artistic work is absolutely fantastic. It feels like a video game turned into a comic, both gameplay-wise and story-wise. However, we can’t overlooked its flaws.- Malditos Nerds

From the point of view of the narrative, Through the Darkest of Times is a fascinating and very important game so that we never forget the atrocities that stain the history of the 20th century. However, if you are looking for a good strategy game, better look elsewhere.- Malditos Nerds

Kentucky Route Zero begins on the road and expands to dozens of stories, all of them unforgettable. A must-play mystery and surreal adventure that took almost 10 years to be complete and has defined the ways of telling stories in video games, influencing many different titles.- Malditos Nerds

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is a great strategy game and, fortunately, players don’t need to know the story or the characters of the TV show in order to play it. The learning curve is very friendly, which means that any player can fully immerse themselves in this story of uprising and revolution. Netflix is now making headway into the game industry, after their mistake with Stranger Things the game.- Malditos Nerds

Unfortunately, the technical side of the game isn't up to the same level as the art style. But fans of classic platformers will find a decent game with pure puzzle gameplay.- Malditos Nerds

Despite being too similar to its inspirations, Coffee Talk is a unique blend of love for retro style, chillout music and a surprisingly vivid and fantasy portrayal of Seattle. A beautiful and relaxing experience that succeeds as a hybrid of barista simulation and traditional visual novel.- Malditos Nerds

Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE Encore has both a J-pop-styled soundtrack and presentation that distinguish it from other JRPGs. Characters are also charming and the combat is extremely engaging despite its high difficulty. However, it is hard to recommend it to those who already played it on Wii U.- Malditos Nerds

Rugby 20 falls into the "for fans only" category, but not in the traditional sense because it is a game for those who are willing to buy it only to support the franchise. The lack of budget is obvious, but there is a solid base of something good here that might get better in future sequels.- Malditos Nerds

Even when the visuals remind us of so many other games, Journey To The Savage Planet has very unique ideas and its exploration mechanics are particularly remarkable. The experience is short-lived, with some major bugs, but still good, especially if you play it in co-op.- Malditos Nerds

Not everyone will find AO Tennis 2 fun since it asks the player to adapt to its peculiar gameplay, and even after a dozen hours of practice and playing, you’ll keep missing the court because of its whimsical guides. But if you look past those frustrations, you can have a good experience, especially playing with friends.- Malditos Nerds

What began as a compelling exploration of the Vampire: The Masquerade universe quickly became an endurance test. This is a peculiar, idiosyncratic game, both in its narrative structure and the many capricious design choices. I’m sad to say I can’t recommend it.- Malditos Nerds

Wattam flaunts the same absurd, childlike humor that Katamari Damacy did, setting the bases of its design in the logic of the playground, but this time Takahashi offers a different game - a miniature sandbox in which the rhythm is dictated by the player, with a fine story and dozens of lovely characters.- Malditos Nerds

Julian Gollop knows what he’s doing, and his experience lends tremendous breadth to this crowdfunded indie game. It keeps your mind busy as you try to achieve your goals in the most efficient way possible. I’ll go one step further: it’s what XCOM 2 should have been.- Malditos Nerds

Darksiders: Genesis proves that less is more. The choice of Diablo-style isometric perspective proves to be a boon, but don’t be fooled by the puzzle and adventure elements - this is an action game at heart. Strife and War are here to entertain you, and they’ll do whatever they have to do to achieve that goal.- Malditos Nerds

Beautiful art, a rousing soundtrack and an appealing combat system can’t compensate for the game’s weaknesses: poor tutorials, unintuitive mechanics, and two-dimensional characters. Fans of the series and old-school JRPG nostalgics may overlook its flaws and endure it all with a smile - I couldn’t.- Malditos Nerds
