Trek to Yomi is impressive as a tribute to Akira Kurosawa and definitely has great audiovisual production, with renowned anime voice actors and amazing soundtrack. In terms of gameplay, however, it falls short.

Ikai is a small game that works better in terms of ideas than in execution. It brings a good J-horror setting and puzzles that make you think, although the narrative is not up to par and it doesn't bring anything new to the genre.

Moss returns with an adventure that feels like it was conceived for virtual reality and is only possible thanks to it. Moss: Book II takes the formula of the first part and fills it with steroids to be a bigger and better game, becoming a must-play experience for all those who own VR headset.

Chinatown Detective Agency feels incomplete, rushed and lacking in essence. A failed successor to Carmen Sandiego that which looks like a very adult game, but ends up being as simple as a story for kids with access to Google Play.

The new Kirby game isn't as big as Breath of the Wild or Mario Odyssey, but is a full of content and fun game that ends up being a must-play for the console and a great choice for any type of player.

Weird West is original and offers a fresh, immersive and highly entertaining experience. Its high points include a gripping story in which all our actions matter and a beautiful artwork. The game has obvious limitations, but manages to capture the essence of the Wild West.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands doesn't kick the board to reformulate the Borderlands series, but it brings enough fresh air to boost the series. The game characters, dialogues and craziness are much more interesting, dynamic and fun than in previous entries, and they provide a good base on which to build future titles in the franchise.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition shines because the magic of the originals is as relevant as it was more than 20 years ago. The games themselves are second to none, but the remaster sticks to the basics and offers a simple updated version of the classics.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga can cause some frustrations with its inexplicable design decisions and it is not a "breakthrough" title in the franchise as it was expected. However, it can’t be denied that’s extremely fun to play.

Ghostwire Tokyo is such a well-rounded game that it's clearly one of the best titles so far this year. The combat, the progression, the way in which Japanese folklore is introduced and the design of the scenarios are the strongest points of an experience that is easy to recommend.

Gran Turismo 7 can be recommended to everyone: to those who are looking for the "must-play" racing game, for real car lovers or even for those who are only going to use it to take car photos or have a nice dynamic car screensaver on Your tv. It's offer a bit more of the same, that's true, but in this context, what the game offers is enough to make it refreshing.

Shadow Warrior 3 is a huge disappointment and a wasted opportunity to elevate the series and take it out of the niche it's been in for a long time; in fact, it's a considerable step back from Shadow Warrior 2. Lo Wang is constantly irritating and prevents us from enjoying those moderately well-executed moments.

Martha is Dead captivates and always leaves you wanting more. It is also, without a doubt, one of the hardest and most deeply themed games I have ever played, bordering on the unbearable at various points. A story like few others, a universe not so explored and unexpected and original twists.

Elden Ring feels like the natural evolution of a video game series that continues to reinvent itself after more than 13 years of its birth. FromSoftware is simply the best at what they do. While there are some technical issues and repetitive structures and creatures, Elden Ring is a cruelly wonderful piece of work and one of the best adventure games of recent years.

Horizon Forbidden West is a textbook sequel, but a really well-executed one. You already know what you are going to find and it does not seek to reinvent the wheel or modify the formula that led the first game to sell more than 20 million units. Guerrilla Games therefore opted to take the very good base already established in Zero Dawn and worked to improve the combat, the options to navigate the map, the story, its characters, its mythology, climates and setting, all wrapped up in a dazzling visual package that It's nice to explore at all times.

SIFU is one of the best titles that came out so far this year. A game that requires full patience and commitment, and rewards attention and dedication with some of the best-executed action sequences and most satisfying combat I've played in years.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human isn't a revolution as the first game, but it is a solid entry with hours and hours of content, although probably not as long as 500 hours. It has everything it needs to become a game that fans are going to love.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is clearly a game from another generation. There is a lot here that the series still does well, particularly when it comes to setting and story. However, years don't come alone, and the quality of this remastered, along with the game's control problems of controls, really make the experience less interesting.
