A weak and uninspired entry for the franchise, The Hobbit presents a poor puzzle design riddled with annoying input problems while being deprived of the charm and ingenuity that characterizes other LEGO games.- LevelUp

As expected, 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil struggles to find its own identity when compared with FIFA 14, and beyond the fresh presentation, there's no evolution at all. The game has great controls and makes up for the lack of atmosphere in FIFA 14, but EA didn't put too much effort in the game modes, and the charm will fade immediately after the World Cup ends.- LevelUp

Kinect Sports Rivals can be fun at times, but Rare assumes that Kinect works perfectly and increases the challenge accordingly, not knowing that the devise is still a bit slow. The result then turns into frustration and exhaustion. Add that to the lengthy loading screens, dull story and reiterative NPC sequences, and you end up with an experience that will only entertain for a few hours at most.- LevelUp

Yaiba left behind everything that built the Ninja Gaiden franchise in order to deliver a generic hack and slash experience, long gone are the days of challenging combat with unique enemies and what remains is a tiresome and boring combat with an absurd story to tell.- LevelUp

More like an elaborate joke than a real game, if you decide to play along with Goat Simulator, you will have a good time. However, it's not much than a fancy tech demo. In the end, Goat Simulator is funny because of the absurdity of the concept rather than because of the game mechanics.- LevelUp

This new expansion in the Diablo universe puts great effort into what really matters in the franchise: the tireless search for the most epic of equipment for your character. Every feature in Reaper of Souls is a highly rewarded activity that will captivate old a new players alike.- LevelUp

Both episodes of Burial at Sea develop different and interesting aspects of the BioShock franchise: stealth and the opportunity to visit Rapture in all its glory. Maybe the second episode is the best in terms of new game mechanics, but the first one does a wonderful job at complementing the excellent plot first established by BioShock Infinite.- LevelUp

The foundations are fun, however inFAMOUS Second Son suffers from a lack of variety when it comes to combat and the missions become dull after a while. Aside from the gorgeous new updated visuals and impeccable performance, there are no signs of game design evolution. Next time, we want to interact with the beautiful city in a way worthy of the new generation of consoles.- LevelUp

Enter the best controls the franchise has known and a ton of other changes and improvements. It's a shame that the fantastic level design wears out because of how the game forces the user to play in the same place over and over. Otherwise, this introduction to the new direction of the franchise is really satisfying.- LevelUp

Even when you consider that this game has solid foundations inherited from previous iterations of the franchise, its poor level design and dull learning curve, make it a forgettable experience that we can do without, especially when there are much better platform games out there.- LevelUp

Even though it's not perfect, this game is an exemplary case of what must be done with a remaster. Maybe its quality is inconsistent, but the extra stuff, trophy support and more make this rendition worthwhile.- LevelUp

What it lacks in variety and depth, Titanfall makes up for in balance, excitement and addictiveness. It is not the FPS messiah some say it is, but it certainly is the breath of fresh air the genre needed so badly.- LevelUp

Even though it has a terrible control scheme by today's standards, Resident Evil 4 HD stays true to the original game, released in 2005; sadly, the HD upgrade is barely noticeable despite Capcom's best efforts to make a remarkable feature out of it.- LevelUp

Without a doubt, this is the best South Park game so far. The quality in the level design, the animations, and the addictive combat highlight this fun experience and really makes you feel part of a South Park episode. The Stick of Truth doesn't try to revolutionize the genre but tries to offer a good laugh from classic poop and fart jokes.- LevelUp

The solid combat mechanics and quality voice acting are the only things that this game has going for it. Everything else feels either disjointed, shallow or out of place. Lords of Shadow 2, as a whole, feels as a mediocre product with some graphical hiccups. In the end, the sequel destroys the good memories we had from the first iteration.- LevelUp

The LEGO Movie Videogame offers the same enjoyable formula from other LEGO games, but also some new mechanics, and every single aspect from the film, has been brought to this tie-in, including the catchy song. Having said that, the game also has new flaws when compared with others in the LEGO series, and in the end is less enjoyable than the movie.- LevelUp

Bravely Default represents a solid revival of Square's old-school JRPGs with an extremely competent execution and rich, elaborate combat mechanics. However, it suffers from narrative stiffness, bad dialogue, unsympathetic characters and an altogether tiredness in it's cliché-ridden story.- LevelUp

With an inspiring art direction, a relentless but interesting game design and a good combat system, The Banner Saga only suffers from a lack of variety in its fighting scenarios and its slow caravan sequences. This solid Kickstarter game shows its pedigree but some players might not get charmed by its particular setting.- LevelUp
