Without a doubt, Kingdom Hearts is a satisfactory chapter in one of the most beloved JRPG franchises. It has some problems that could have been ironed out, but it's still a great and magical experience that can be enjoyed by fans and newcomers alike. Ultimately, it was worth the long wait.- LevelUp

The Takeoff, flight and landing have been successful. Project Aces honor a tradition that spans more than 20 years with a fun and adrenaline-filled experience. After all this time, it's satisfying to know that Ace Combat is still soaring high above the clouds.- LevelUp

I can’t deny that it was a pleasure to meet again with a title that I played many years ago and, in general, I consider that it is an experience that can be pleasant for fans of the series. However, its not easy to bring back mechanics and control schemes already overcome; maybe those who played the original delivery will take a little time to get into the rhythm and, in a brief time, they will achieve it. The big questions remains: can Onimusha: Warlords appeal to a new audience as well? The answer remains uncertain. In any case, elements such as control and certain game mechanics, such as the more complicated riddles and the difficulty of some combats or enemies, will leave the coin in the air waiting for the experience to be pleasant for those embarking on this adventure. Despite its limitations and, Onimusha: Warlords fulfills its premise as a remastering and as a game. Without a doubt it is a good return to the past and I hope that it has the necessary reception to guarantee the launch of the subsequent titles.- LevelUp

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a perfect example of what a good remake should be. Toys for Bob took everything special about the original trilogy and made it better with a fresh coat of paint. This is the definitive way of playing Spyro the Dragon.- LevelUp

Although controversial, the decision to swap the single-player campaign for a popular and alien game mode shows a complete evolution in the franchise as it consolidates as one of the freshest installments in the series. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has the real potential to make jaded veterans return to a game that feels different, fair and requires skill and, at the same time, is supported by two gigantic modes that are addictive and fun to play.- LevelUp

Red Dead Redemption 2 is technically impressive; a well-made game and a visual jewel polished to the smallest detail: a masterpiece in every way. By displaying excellent writing and storytelling, developed character and plots, and a full array of activities, it stands one of the best open worlds to date. Rockstar Games once again stands as the creator of the most successful and influential works in the medium of interactive entertainment. We are probably facing the best game ever made by Rockstar Games.- LevelUp

Playground Games newest addition to the open world racing genre is everything you can expect from a game that belongs to the Forza family. It’s easy to learn due its granular design, yet it provides deep tuning tools for the connoisseur. Despite its numerous and solid online systems that feeds its communities, the series feels like it has forgotten its competitive roots. Despite this, Forza Horizon 4 invites you to take part in its copious amenities and, in the end, the experience feels like your own, as long as you do not demand too much from the multiplayer.- LevelUp

Thanks to the way in which the history of video games developed, Metroidvania as a genre continues to nourish the romanticism that surrounds the titles that gives it a name. In that sense, Guacamelee!2 is a worthy representative of the genre since it complies with the elements required to be approved by enthusiasts, old and new school players. As promised, DrinkBox Studios has taken the series to the next level and everything has been greatly improved. The merit of the Canadian studio is that the game is capable of expressing itself through its mechanics.- LevelUp

This year’s mastery of the Frostbite engine offers an impressive visual experience with players represented close to reality. Visually and audibly its a success. At the same time, improvements in important game modes, Franchise and Ultimate Team, guarantee weeks of fun that will be driven by the start of the regular season and endless interaction with the community. Octopath Traveler is the magnificent missing link between pixels and polygons. It is game full of nostalgia with an incredible art direction, deep and addictive combat, a soundtrack worthy of the Squaresoft legacy and a lengthy although somewhat disjointed story line. If you are an old school player that enjoyed a classic JRPG , this game is definitely made for you and you will appreciate immensely. If you are new to the genre, it is a great opportunity for you to get to know turn based combat games, pixel art, and understand what all the fuss is about.- LevelUp

Taking an American muscle car at 300 km/h along a gorge, falling hopelessly into the void and ending up maneuvering gracefully an aircraft in an instant is a pleasant driving experience that is rarely seen in the racing genre; but it's just one of the many activities that The Crew 2 has prepared.
