For those fans, it's a blast from the past chock full of nostalgia and other fuzzy feelings. Unfortunately, new players with an ever-growing backlog of games that are begging to be experienced simply won't have the time to enjoy Monkey Island 2.

The story, characters, combat system, theme and the overall weird factor of the game are the main reason to check it out. However, that you must face a very poorly designed hub world to progress into No More Heroes and experience these things is unfortunate.

Like a Michael Bay movie, Split/Second is a must-see, but isn't worth more than a rent.

If you need one game to get for the launch, NBA 2K6 is the way to go, simply because "NBA Live" is more of a visual presentation with very little substance.

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny is a solid portable fighter.

For every great feature in the game it's a downside. Upgrading skills is nice, but not when it takes 30 repetitive street missions to buy the next Swing Speed. But most of all the length of the game is the biggest disappointment. A swift 8 hours of your time you can have it beat.

Born on the Playstation 2, and it looks it. Muddy Textures, low detail. The large gameworld is technically impressive though.

Mistwalker’s dream team hasn’t given Microsoft the best RPG ever made and it won’t blow the minds of any long-time RPG fans, but they may have created exactly the kind of Japanese RPG that Microsoft’s western-centric audience needed to get their feet wet with the genre.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is not a typical DS game. However, those gamers who also enjoying burning away the hours with a good book will find plenty to like in this courtroom drama.

If you are fan of the James Bond games, then check it out. If you are looking for the next Halo you will not find it here.

When the game handles save data properly, it's an enthralling addition to the Ghostbusters mythos that provides plenty of fantastic gameplay as well as hilarious performances from a talented cast. On the other hand, I cannot overlook its collection of frustrating technical issues.

I'd call Mutant Storm Reloaded a poor man's Geometry Wars Retro Evolved, but the fact that it costs twice as many Marketplace points kinda makes that insult moot.

Klonoa is one of the best platforming games on the Wii.

If you're looking for a realistic warfare game and you only want co-op, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is going to be a good choice, otherwise you might as well wait for Modern Warfare 2.

A step up from last year's sequel to "Underground," but it still has its problems.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex Edition is what you'd expect to find out of it. It doesn't live up to the HD versions because the severe graphical hit the game takes, but the multiplayer is still a lot of fun to experience and that alone may make the game worth it for you.

Metal Slug 3, at four years old, still remains one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences on the Xbox for those who are up to the challenge it presents.

If you can get together four people that enjoy Mario sports games or soccer titles in general, you'll find plenty of fun to be had. If you can't, then don't even bother.

Tomb Raider Underworld gives us our beloved Lara Croft in her best outing in recent years.

With Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords being one of the best puzzle games ever, Galactrix isn't. The result is a game that is unique and interesting but leaves much to be desired for lasting appeal.

The game is pretty fun to play, but it doesn't really take that great of a leap forward as most sequels are expected to do.

If you can get past the limited modes, non-descript tracks, and overly simple menu the gameplay is a blast.

Poker fans will like what is offered and casual card fans can pick up a few pointers.

The gameplay moments in Mafia II are forgettable with action that has been seen and done hundreds of times over.

Graphics are not top notch, not even close to it. Make no mistake, this game is a port of a PS2 game brought to Xbox 360 and it looks even less impressive than the Xbox version.

Today’s modern gamers who have not experienced the joys of the 1980s and 1990s arcade will probably be underwhelmed.

There is tons of fun to be had, however, that needs to be tempered by a warning that there are online limitations.

Resonance of Fate is a game designed specifically for the hardcore role-playing fan.

The biggest downfall is the racing itself. Aside from Quick Race, you have to do more solo practice laps than I cared to do. I wanted to fight for position and not try and constantly beat my old time by me being the only car on the track. When the big race finally came, I was bored of the track and wanted something else to do.

The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces does a lot of things right. Unfortunately, the game also falls a bit short in a few areas, and doesn't even get off the ground in others.

While there are some great games on this disc, total duds like Kozmik Krooz'r, Arch Rivals, and Pit Fighter, make MAT2 an uneven compilation in the end. For a better group of games, check out the first "MAT."

The moments where teamwork is highlighted are the best moments in the game. It is curious why those weren't capitalized on more throughout. Even the co-op is compromised from FTB3 being designed with grander battles in mind.

In the end, there is a lot of dazzle but no substance. Don't let the impressive car numbers fool you, if you have been waiting for this GT, you'll be whole-heartedly disappointed at this wasted effort of a AAA franchise.

It is inexcusable that the multiplayer mode is so underdeveloped. It is as if Rockstar came up with a nice innovation for a multiplayer mode and forgot (or simply didn’t care) to complete the programming of it.

Even though this is a sequel, the gameplay still feels fresh and unique. The downside is that the opportunity to smooth out the learning curve was largely passed by and casts a shadow over the whole experience.

Clipping issues are everywhere, and not comical ones like GTA or Saint's Row. While playing, I've been shot through buildings, implanted in the ground, and stepped through cars.

Fans of the series will be thrilled while the rest of the population is left out in the cold.

This game needed a tutorial to explain itself better. Not even the instruction manual provides ample information to arm you with the knowledge to play at a beginner level. You need to do a lot of trial and error runs to get caught up to speed on what works and what doesn't.

The multiplayer modes are enjoyable, but it's hard to get very excited about them with the 360 version of the game offers both online cooperative play as well as an offline mode.

Sure, the presentation is poor, and the lack of d-pad support is a real drag; but the individual games are just so enjoyable that I can't help but recommend the Metal Slug Anthology to any fan of the franchise or the run and gun shooter genre.

It's a fun beat-em up and a heck of a game. It has more hits than misses and is a definite rental for anyone looking to kill a weekend.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a good game that could have been great.

Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party is a mildly fun DDR game with Wii-mote functionality thrown into the mix. Unfortunately, it just feels so standard.

Strangely enough, Endless Ocean is a very well made game. The problem lies in something else: as a game, Endless Ocean isn't very entertaining.

Having a battle fall apart when the healer is killed because you forgot to pay attention to her for fifteen seconds. Uh, a healer should be able take care of herself, at least, right? It's in their freakin' job description.

The Club is a game you want to master but might find the lasting appeal is lacking. The multiplayer stands out as being the shining feature of the game but the single-player will be a love/hate relationship.

It will attract new fans to the franchise with it's fast, arcade action. It will deter old fans with it's fast, arcade action.

The unusual controls and music will intrigue most players, but like other music games, it will quickly fall by the wayside.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games is a good break from more serious sports games, but it falls far short of the mark it set for itself.

The drawings you create make the game's name ring true and brings life to the game that is mostly a story. The levels are over in the blink of an eye and feel like stop gaps for telling the story.

The best part of Clank is how enjoyable the game is to play. The story is lighthearted, characters are memorable and the action is constant.

Mortal Kombat II can't hold its own in today's market like some titles from the Golden-Age of gaming. The nostalgia runs high with the digitized sprites of the fighters and the color swaps of costumes to make three fighters out of one (Reptile, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero) but it won't last long.

The minor quibbles on control and visuals keep this game from becoming the defining golf game on the system. With that being said, the potential is still enormous.

This one doesn’t redefine the fighter genre, but it’s still a fun Wii fighter that interested players can enjoy if they’re willing to put up with some small problems here and there.

The mini-games are repetitious and require little skill, the CPU-controlled characters are easy to beat even on higher difficulty levels (unlock the Brutal difficulty mode for a fairly decent challenge), and the microphone is a neat peripheral that adds nothing amazing to the game.

If they were allowed to finish this game before it was released, it would be a classic.

It is not the best brawler on the market, but Shrek SuperSlam is a good one that gets held back from greatness due to some weak parts.

Flatout has the basics down pat for a decent racing game, but with its core gameplay aspects still a bit rusty, this is definite rental material, through and through.

Only negative I have with this is the fact that most of the game can be beaten by repeatedly tapping the "X" button; varying control scheme would have been nice.

Yet another substandard attempt to make a splash in the shallow Xbox survival horror pool. Toss this one overboard.

The game is cute with charming LEGOs but there isn't as much of a game as even Rock Band 2. The family-friendly soundtrack is sure to broaden the appeal of this game but there are better options available if that isn't a primary concern.

It is a silly, fun Wii game that is accessible to everyone and wacky enough that it will leave people perplexed or in stitches.

EyePet aims its sights squarely away from the traditional shooter fan, but offers a unique perspective with the augmented reality that will make EyePet a great showpiece for new PlayStation Move owners.

Untamed is a nice entry into the legacy that Rainbow Studios has carved out for itself. However, Untamed hasn't made the jump all that well onto the next-gen consoles after the impressive showing with MX vs. ATV: Unleashed.

Cooking Mama: Dinner with Friends is not a bad game; it just doesn't expand on the franchise as much as a new sequel should.

Sure, the AI’s nowhere near present standards. Granted, its graphics engine is severely outdated. And, yeah, it’s not breaking any records in the sound department either. But therein lies its charm. If you’re like me and have been a longtime fan of the series, you’ll find this one as comfortable to slip into as a well-worn, unwashed pair of jeans.

NASCAR is a fine little kart game. The speed is representative of the actual sport and the gameplay is solid enough to warrant you pulling out the Wii Wheel for a spin around track a few times.

A bargain platformer that tried to stuff twenty pounds of game into a ten pound bag - and it shows.

An air combat game with potential, marred by its own identity crisis.

The Godfather: The Don's Edition doesn't feel next-gen. Even with the new additions, it plays like a PS2 game.

A great game and if you can convince yourself to spend the $50 instead of just buying the Cube version for far less, then you'll have a lot of fun. However, the controls vary from new and fresh to frustrating.

However, the franchise is in risk of going stale and not pushing more boundaries in other areas while maintaining the excellent gameplay.

Detailed and fluidly animated characters duke it out in impressively destructible environments. Framerate and texture issues hold the game back from graphical greatness.

On a console over populated with first person shooters, there's nothing exceptionally special or unique about Pariah. If you really want to play it, give the game a rental.

If you loved the first two Crazy Taxi's then you will likely enjoy the new one, though feel the new city is a bit boring and go back to the original two. Overall it is fun package worth checking out.

Neither the graphics nor the sound is going to set the world on fire, but I’ve certainly seen and heard worse. The bottom line is that if you’ve got a jones for GameCube golf, there are better titles out there.

It gets the series back on track, but its lousy on-foot controls and AI restrictions really kill a lot of the major fun factor.

This is a classic example of graphics look better but the gameplay isn't as compelling as the competition.

If you've been craving more Konga then this is worth checking out. Otherwise it may be best to move along.

Gyrostarr would be great fun as part of a larger, more elaborate arcade-style space shooter set free from WiiWare limitations, but on its own the total package falls short of enjoyment and expectations.

MagnaCarta 2 is a generic RPG. If you want to play a RPG and want to indulge in a generic, very straightforward experience, then MagnaCarta 2 will give you some fun.

Glory of Heracles kicks off with a lot of promise. The intro video gets you pumped, the tutorial gets you ready to explore the deep combat system, and the combat visuals impress right from the start. Unfortunately, once the initial excitement wears off, the game becomes a bit repetitive and boring.

Taking advantage of all the neat things the Wii technology has to offer should be applauded, but when the core gameplay itself is merely so-so, it all goes to waste.

With a variety of missions and many distinct worlds, Secret Rings provides the fairly solid Sonic game for which fans have been clamoring.

The game has a lot of great features and loads of content to wade through, but the developers completely missed the first, most basic elements of motorcycle racing. The thrill of riding a motorcycle is completely absent and without it, the rest of the feature set loses its impact.

NHL 2K10 tries to wear way too many hats for its own good. At most moments it tries to be a party hockey game, and if it stuck to this principle throughout and adopted fast paced, arcade style hockey then it may have had a chance to succeed. But then their attempt at realism rears its nasty head and the horrific, slow and boring gameplay gets in the way of any party you'll try to throw down.

As far as arcade racers on the Wii go, Need for Speed: Nitro isn't a bad experience.

This isn't fun, this is sloppy. Fights devolve into senseless button and stick mashing, and often lead to a lot of controller throwing moments.

You could do much better than Tron 2.0: Killer App. In fact, you should.

Turok manages to revive the ailing franchise. The dinosaurs look awesome and fighting them is just as cool.

It'd make a great rental though. Take it for a test drive and see if the experience sticks for your preferred control method and number of available players.

An average start to a series with potential.

While there is an intriguing idea at the core of MySims, there are just not enough interesting activities worth repetitive engagement.

The problem with Link's Crossbow Training is unusual. It's not that it's a bad game. Instead, it's that there's just not enough to it.

Despite some of the more flagrant errors, I'm still slinging webs around New York City enjoying the thrill of being what boils down to an urban Tarzan.
