  1. Being able to play them again, without plopping down pounds of quarters and inhaling ozone all night, is fabulous. I hope they keep coming.
  2. It's a must for old schoolers and also a must for the younger generation so they can see what we had to play and how far videogaming has come in the last 20 years.
  3. The funny thing is that Midway probably could have combined the best games in both complications and released just one version of the Arcade Treasures.

But what's really a labor of love is all the bonus material - historical info, original poster and advertising art, and behind-the-scenes videos with the games' creators. [Nov 2004, p.85]

While there are some great games on this disc, total duds like Kozmik Krooz'r, Arch Rivals, and Pit Fighter, make MAT2 an uneven compilation in the end. For a better group of games, check out the first "MAT."

Midway's got your party covered. The included games are dying to be played in pairs or groups. In fact, many of them -- "Xenophobe" and "Timber," among others -- probably shouldn't be played solo.
  7. It's under a pound a game, although it is more like five pounds each for the three titles you will play almost exclusively over time. Given the amount of cash you put into these things as a kid (multiplied up by a million times because of inflation and interest lost) it's a steal.

I spent twice the amount of this game every night playing cyberball. It's a steal and just like the original.

I would pay $20 for Total Carnage alone! I would pay another $20 for MK3 alone! Midway...you are doing us hard-core gamers a huge service! Thanks!!!
