    While there are some great games on this disc, total duds like Kozmik Krooz'r, Arch Rivals, and Pit Fighter, make MAT2 an uneven compilation in the end. For a better group of games, check out the first "MAT."

    Midway's got your party covered. The included games are dying to be played in pairs or groups. In fact, many of them -- "Xenophobe" and "Timber," among others -- probably shouldn't be played solo.

    Sadly, it would appear that most of Midway's classic titles have already been used in the first compilation and apart from a small selection; a lot of the games on offer are space filers and nothing more.

    The words 'a mixed bag' tell you everything you need to know about Midway Arcade Treasures 2. For every classic like "Mortal Kombat" there's a travesty like "Pit Fighter" - so this one can only be recommended for the purists.

    It's huge, nicely-reproduced and sells for a great price. But the genuine classics part? Well, not so much. To be frank, there are two types of games in Treasures 2: decrepit hits, and obscure leftovers.

    There are about five games out of the 20 that we'd ever want to spend time with again, and another half-dozen modern day fillers that have been usurped massively since, while the rest are just truly awful reminders of why things are better just the way they are.

    It's under a pound a game, although it is more like five pounds each for the three titles you will play almost exclusively over time. Given the amount of cash you put into these things as a kid (multiplied up by a million times because of inflation and interest lost) it's a steal.

    Most of the games in it you will only play once or twice, and only a few of them are fun.     I spent twice the amount of this game every night playing cyberball. It's a steal and just like the original.

    Truly a delight. If you are familiar with these games or remember playing them when they were hot in the coin arcades go out and buy this. Truly a delight.
