Reptilian Rising is a charming, focused tactical game that fully commits to its identity and earns genuine goodwill through personality alone. Technical rough edges, including UI elements blocking the grid and the occasional menu-locking bug, add friction that a $29.99 game at launch shouldn't carry. At 10 to 12 hours for a single campaign run, a one-and-done player won't stretch Reptilian Rising all that far. Those willing to run it twice on hard, experimenting with a different hero lineup, will find considerably more value. It won't be for everyone, but for the right kind of player, it is hard to put down.- KeenGamer

Gunboat God gives you an action-packed game that tests your reflexes and incentivizes you to practice your skills. With several enemy variations and level objectives, there's plenty to do as you master your use of the gunboat. Unfortunately there's nothing but gunboat combat and high scores that keeps you playing. It's great for anyone looking for a good action platformer but just wants the action.- KeenGamer

Super Meat Boy 3D successfully preserves the fast-paced, challenging gameplay fans expect, offering plenty of content for those who enjoy mastering difficult platforming. However, its shift to 3D reduces precision and introduces camera and control issues. While some will enjoy the added freedom, others may find it frustrating, making it a solid but imperfect evolution.- KeenGamer

I believe that if anyone is looking for a challenging experience, then Death Howl is the game for them. I sadly didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped, but it did leave me with a lot of respect for the game. It has a clear identity, strong art style, and a combat system that'll really click for players who enjoy the grind. Like most souls-likes, I can see myself coming back to Death Howl when I'm in need of a mountain to climb.- KeenGamer

Goblins of Elderstone provides a colony building experience with solid fundamentals and an enjoyable experience. It's nice to see your colony expand as you deal with threats. But the tutorial doesn't cover everything and you are often left to fend for yourself. It doesn't help that many of the resources you need are out of reach, forcing you to learn the hard way. While the game can be fun, it also feels more difficult than it needs to be.- KeenGamer

Bogos Binted has several games that are great for quick fun with friends. The fast pace and unpredictability give everyone an equal chance to win. However playing for extended periods of time drains you and it's hard to find a suitable online game without friends. If you have friends, this game is easy to recommend but without other copies, you can't experience the game's full potential.- KeenGamer

Nova Antarctica presents a difficult survival challenge but that's mostly because it's difficult to know what your objectives are. While surviving against the brutal weather is part of the fun, it's also challenging because you must restart with every failure. It's a game where you must dedicate lots of time to learn and the mystery isn't a big draw. You may be entertained at first but it could be tough to continue playing.- KeenGamer

The Dagby Files is something you should look at getting if you enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, with the added component of narrative through detective mysteries. Even if you're not much of a mystery fan, you'll still enjoy doing the puzzles and there's no consequences for getting investigations wrong. At the heart of it, it's just a fun new way to complete jigsaws. The illustrations by Dave Montes definitely adds that special touch to The Dagby Files, not just being attractive to look at but also from a practical standpoint when solving the puzzles. I'd like to see more puzzle games like this, where jigsaws are combined with a narrative.- KeenGamer

High School Dirty Secrets masterfully creates a tense atmosphere that makes you jump at the slightest sound and dread looking around every corner. It doesn't overstay its welcome and you have a great time running from enemies. The story isn't the best and puzzles could use more guidance. DETECTIVE - Rainy Night tries to be two different genres at once but never finds its focus. The result is a game that doesn't feel like mystery or horror, instead a rough combination of the two. Sanatorium - A Mental Asylum Simulator balances patient treatment with investigating a mystery. It does a good job of making you balance patient welfare with your own survival within the asylum. Syberia Remastered is not a bad remaster—but it is a timid one, and that is what hurts most. This world, this story, this legacy, deserved a revival that honored Benoît Sokal’s vision with boldness and confidence. Instead, we are left with something in between: a remaster that flickers with brilliance but too often fades back into mediocrity. For newcomers, it offers a glimpse of why Syberia became a classic. For longtime fans, it feels like a missed opportunity—a reminder of just how powerful this story could be if given the chance to truly shine again. Syberia Remastered is heartfelt but incomplete—a nostalgic return that touches the heart, but never fully captures the magic it tries to revive.- KeenGamer

Bounty Star does a decent job of mixing mech combat with base management. You slowly build stronger mechs while earning money and starting a farm. DeadWire encourages creativity by creating connections between various objects to defeat enemies. There's always a solution and you can't lock yourself out of a level. It may not be a main SUDA51 title but the collaboration with SWERT doesn't feel as different other than 2.5D perspective, which thankfully works well. The gameplay may need some polishing with input delays but it has that roguelike itch that this addict can't resist. Its a nice starter to keep SUDA51 fans going till Romeo is a Dead Man releases. Skygard Arena is thoughtful, punishing, and rewarding once the systems click. Its status-driven tactics and persona/relic builds offer genuine depth, especially for players coming from tactics or MOBA backgrounds. For newcomers, early campaign spikes and limited sustain options make the first hours rougher than they need to be. With improved onboarding and a touch more access to healing/cleansing in story missions, Skygard Arena could be an easy recommendation across the board.- KeenGamer

Coloring Voxels is a soothing, cute, and fun little paint-by-numbers game. Whilst it isn't a gaming revolution it has everything that it needs to be charming and to help you to relax after a busy day. The gameplay may be too simple for some. Death Relives is a horror experience that confuses itself for an interactive history lesson at times. It may be filled with entertaining puzzles and an enjoyable intimidating antagonist, but It sadly doesn't justify the frequent bugs and frustrating stealth mechanics. I can see the vision the developers were going for but Death Relives definitely needed some more time in the oven. Hopefully in their next venture they'll learn what worked and what didn't, and maybe leave the AI generated content behind.- KeenGamer

While it is its own vibrant and enjoyable game, Spray Paint Simulator feels extremely similar to Powerwash Simulator. The levels and equipment are fairly basic, and I feel as though there was missed potential for more creative and novel ideas linked to the spray painting theme. However despite its flaws, Spray Paint Simulator is still a solid addition to the simulator genre. The mindless and satisfying gameplay is ideal for switching off and zoning out, perfect for those moments when you're looking for a game which doesn't need you to pay to attention to cutscenes or puzzle solving.- KeenGamer

Wizard of Legend 2 presents an enjoyable roguelike experience where you combine elemental spells to create powerful combos. Spirit of the North 2 builds on the charm of the original with a larger world and more polished graphics. It's a soothing experience for those who enjoy light puzzles, environmental storytelling and walks through picturesque landscapes. However, inconsistent mechanics, a lack of direction and technical problems prevent it from being truly great. Play it if you like relaxing exploration games, minimalist storytelling, or you just want to be a pretty fox in a beautiful world. Skip it if you prefer tight gameplay, strong storytelling, or are easily frustrated by unclear mechanics and occasional bugs.- KeenGamer

Spellcaster University is a game of contradictions: chaotic yet structured, charming yet quickly tiresome. Its systems are deep, its personality undeniable—but its transition to Switch is clumsy at best. This version demands patience, sharp eyesight, and a high tolerance for fiddly menus. Deck of Haunts provides a solid deckbuilding roguelite experience combined with horror you inflict. It's fun to come up with ways to prevent intruders from reaching the heart of your haunted house. Cauldron is a fun RPG that deftly weaves mini-games into the standard formula. It's easy to learn and the story has lots of snark that keeps you entertained. Wavetale provides a cozy, enjoyable ride of exploration and puzzle solving. The story is one big side quest, but its subtext is well written - global warming, industrialism and the hubris of humanity. Sports: Renovations isn’t a bad game—but it’s definitely one you play with Netflix on. Instructions are vague, the story is easy to skip, and even finishing your main goal early earns no acknowledgment. There’s solid voice acting and some charm in the radio broadcasts, but most players will miss it while zoning out or playing their own music. There's no reward for creativity, and your effort rarely matters. I’m not sure who the target audience is—sports fans or dad game fans—but merging the two doesn’t quite land. Still, if you just want something low-pressure to unwind with (and you dodge the glitches), it’s a decent time-waster.- KeenGamer

Even though the developers followed the general outline of a proven formula, the overall experience is genuinely enjoyable and becomes a fun challenge once you get past the first run. That said, the game can’t really be compared to more popular titles. FAR: Lone Sail could have been great. The game nails the emotional attachment to your vessel, creating a neat gameplay loop, combined with lovely art design and a beautiful soundtrack. WWE 2K25 is far from a perfect game. 2K and Visual Concepts continue to get more ambitious with each passing year. And while that's certainly commendable, WWE 2K25 is a great showcase for the flaws in that mindset. The core of the game they're building on needs serious work, and several modes need a lot more TLC than a few updates a year. Overall, The Executive has a lot working in its favor. Cinephiles will appreciate the impressive attention to detail and the meticulous recreation of the movie business. That said, a few frustrating design choices hold it back from greatness. Moons Of Darsalon can be a fantastic game at times. Offering a fresh spin on a subgenera that often times feels stale and unenjoyable. However there are times that it can fall prey to the same troubles that other similar games have. With the AI being brain dead to the point that it makes the game unplayable. Creo God Simulator does a good job at providing a city builder simulation experience with godly powers. You do feel like you have control over the lives of your citizens. James Pond: Codename Robocod is an odd beast. Whilst it is technically a rerelease it isn’t the game that many players will remember. And the game that we do end up getting here is fun enough; the core mechanics are solid and provide and decent challenge which is close enough to the original that this feels like a sequel of sorts. However the level design is slightly lacking. And the presentation of the game is rather poor, with bad sound design and poorly implemented sprites. Feed the Deep's compelling gameplay loop lured me into the deep end numerous times, causing me to sink hours into the repetitive cave diving. Controls are responsive and fluid, becoming lumbersome in the right places to effectively create tension and build on the claustrophobic feeling. After playing levels and levels of Fit My Cat, I realized one thing. It's like Tetris where you have to put the cats into an area and make them fit. Well, I guess you can also say it's like a jigsaw too. But, not only is it a puzzle game, but it's an adorable, simple and cutesy puzzle game! Going into it, I realized that the controls are a bit weird. I had to figure it out on my own, even the picture for the controls didn't help me as much. Throughout the game, I noticed that they are a bit stiff and wonky. The cats themselves, too, are a bit hard to maneuver, especially if you don't place them down correctly. I used to have a motto of sorts for finding good restaurants. "Authentic doesn't mean good." You can't base the quality of something purely on how close it mirrors the thing it's representing. Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator is very authentic. Authentic stretches of kilometers filled with nothing but snow. Authentic silence. Authentic cold. It tries to spice things up with the absurdity of your Mafia missions, like being asked immediately to blow up a bridge. That shininess wears thin very quickly though, and the absurdity quickly turns to monotony. There's a decent game in here. If you like train sims, it's perfectly functional. If you like shooters... maybe look elsewhere. If you're looking for both, well, that's weird. But so is this game.- KeenGamer

The Kindeman Remedy is a mixed bag of good ideas in a not so well executed procedure. With its tiresome repetitive gameplay, lack of challenge, and odd story decisions. It feels like a first attempt at a great game that delves into dark and twisted themes. But sadly gets confused on what it wants to be with its gameplay. I hope the developers are able to lean from what they got right and create a better twisted tale down the line.- KeenGamer

Rock Climbing? is a fun indie platformer with a rock solid yet also rock hard core gameplay loop. There is no denying that this game isn't for everyone. And there are a few quirks of the gameplay that do undermine it somewhat. But for a quick game to play on and off or to even stream it is great fun for the entry price.- KeenGamer

After waiting for the chance to play it on PlayStation 5, The Last Case of Benedict Fox doesn't give me everything I wanted, but gives enough for a decent trip into the world of Lovecraft. Though its story and parts of the combat do let the game down, the art style, puzzle solving and the exploration that Metroidvania's provide really did save it from me putting it down and never playing again.- KeenGamer

All in all, as far as hidden objects games go, Sophia the Traveler is pretty decent. It does have a few minor flaws, but you'll soon be warped into the beautifully hand-crafted scenes of Venice, surrounded by amazing sights and sounds as you search hard for people and objects. The large and highly-detailed scenes might seem overwhelming, but these are the ones that will hook you into the game and keep you absorbed until you find every object. Plus, the game does offer a lifeline if you do get truly stuck, however, it is a lot more satisfying when you find something by yourself after spending ages trawling the sprawling scenes.- KeenGamer

Atomic Heart offers great graphics and enjoyable combat. While the weapon variety is moderate and the story predictable with some cheesy dialogue, the game excels in providing enjoyable character upgrades. Though it may not fully live up to the initial hype, it remains a decent choice for players craving an immersive dystopian game with an incredible soundtrack.- KeenGamer

Farming Simulator Kids may be tailored towards younger audiences, but it shouldn't deter older players who want to play something safe, simple, and cozy. It might turn off some harder core players who prefer difficult campaigns and more goal-oriented gameplay, but others may prefer the slower carefree pace that Farming Simulator Kids offers. This is an ideal game for younger players who want to dabble in farming games, learning about farming in the process. The cheerful art style is also appealing, giving a children's picture book look. This game may not be like the other Farming Simulator games, but it shouldn't be overlooked.- KeenGamer

Hearts Of Iron IV: Trial Of Allegiance is a perfectly adequate piece of DLC. Whilst it does add some decent content, what we get feels rather inconsistent. With some focus trees being full of variety and flavour. And others feel a little 'mid' at best and lacking at worst. With the overall thrust of most trees ultimately being nearly identical. Ultimately, unless you are playing as one of these nations, you'll never really notice the changes.- KeenGamer

The Warhammer DLC is pretty neat, but it isn’t exactly as amazing as some of the other ones FuturLabs is currently selling. If you are an avid follower and player of Warhammer, you may enjoy some of the Easter eggs and understand a bit more of the nuance behind the messages. Unfortunately, it feels just a bit too expensive for five new vehicles/machines to clean without any wide areas. Despite having this large, open area that you don’t have to clean, you don’t get to see any of the previous vehicles despite there clearly being space for them. It would have felt more satisfying and conclusive if you saw your journey up to the Thunderhawk. The Warhammer DLC just doesn’t compare to the free content and other DLCs already in PowerWash.- KeenGamer

The Ramsey is packed full of bright colors, charming characters, and fun gameplay. It's a great modern 2D mascot platformer with an adorable main character destined to sell merchandise. And while it's certainly a fun time, it is held back by a shorter runtime and a general lack of challenge until the ending stages. And with a bare bones story, some people could find themselves mentally checked out a few hours in.- KeenGamer

With weak exploration which tends towards being more tedious, and even exhausting, combat which trips over itself to constantly interrupt the player, and an overall feeling of awkwardness in the presentation, getting through The Thaumaturge's low moments can be a real struggle. However, on the other side is a compelling and interesting political slow burn which weaves the role of magic and Thaumaturgy into real historical scheming, even if that means the more interesting aspects of the world take a backseat. This is alongside an engaging core combat loop and some excellent creature designs. If you can stomach the slow start and are willing to play into the game's more obtuse aspects, particularly the walls of emotive text, The Thaumaturge is sure to be another exciting CRPG for you.- KeenGamer

The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology is a great attempt at bringing a children's series to life. However, it is brought down by several factors that make gameplay a difficult experience. It's hard to tell where you are, scent-based gameplay blends together, and graphical faults can inconvenience you. But for fans of the series, you can easily overlook those flaws and have a decent time.- KeenGamer

The Lost Legends of Redwall: Feasts & Friends is a simple game to learn and jump into. It's a great way to continue the Redwall adventure without investing time into reading the books. However, you will invest time in the game mechanics, learning through trial-by-fire as you cook new dishes. It feels like the process could be much easier than it is, but it works for a simple cooking game.- KeenGamer

Slave Zero X is great at throwing you into combat that tests your ability to extend combos. You fight a variety of enemies that provide unique challenges and the combat is fun to learn. However, the story is confusing at the beginning and the tutorial isn't implemented well, making it easy to miss out on your full arsenal. Spending time learning how to fight is a key part of the game and failure is expected. It's a long grind but if you love the precise nature of combat and chaining combos, you will enjoy Slave Zero X.- KeenGamer

Murder is Game Over: Deal Killer is not a bad game by any stretch. The biggest issue is its length. The core of the mystery provides little challenge or excitement, especially compared to bigger series like Ace Attorney or Danganronpa. Though, had it been longer, it would need a more diverse gameplay loop and more complex mystery to justify it. However, for only $5, you get a fun little mystery game filled with good moments and solid characters.- KeenGamer

Town Adventures allowed me to have my first experience with a walking simulator game. While I do feel a tad underwhelmed, it might have been because I was expecting a lot more and I'm not familiar with these types of games. If you like walking simulators, hidden objects games or both, then Town Adventures ticks these boxes.- KeenGamer

Alisa: Developer's Cut is an amazing homage to the roots of the Resident Evil franchise. Recreating the feeling to a near-perfect T. Overall, Project Downfall succesffuly presents a challenging first person alternative to Hotline Miami, showcasing fun updated gameplay that many old-school shooters paved the way for. The story having a branch narrative with multiple endings is great and I'm definitely going back to see all them but the lack of an interesting plot does stop it from being perfect. Some irritations with AI, lighting, and some gameplay mechanics hold it back, but there's enough here to keep you playing and smashing heads in the name of John Wickian Justice.- KeenGamer

Grime isn't necessarily a great game, but it's definitely a memorable game. I can think of a few other games that play like it, but I can't think of any other games that really look like it. The disgusting body horror world was my favorite aspect of the game, which is good, because creating a memorable world is important for a Metroidvania. There's definitely some wrinkles to this Switch port, but Grime remains a satisfying time, sure to appeal to fans of both Soulslikes and Metroidvanias.- KeenGamer

The game leaves a lot to be desired. At first glace, the combat seems interesting but ultimately falls flat due to the repetitive nature of the missions and combat encounters. The dialogue and cutscenes are excellently produced, however, the same cannot be said about the boss fights and ending of the game. Not being able to play the game offline even when solo feels like a slap in the face but it can be forgiven. Ultimately, the game can be enjoyed by some DC fans looking for some quick, chaotic fun, yet a lot of die-hard comic book fans will be quick to criticize certain aspects of comic accuracy and character development. The hefty price tag is definitely unjustified and doesn't feel fully worth it.- KeenGamer

Turnip Boy's second adventure is every bit as cutesy and charming as the first, with just enough existential dread to keep you on your toes, wondering what Turnip Boy will do next, perhaps it could be "Turnip Boy Runs a Crypto Scam". It's funny that despite all of the crimes Turnip Boy commits, the real crime was the state this port released in. It's still perfectly playable, and I saw no major glitches, but the performance is so awful that my recommendation is to either wait for it to get patched or play it on something else.- KeenGamer

Graven is a difficult game that combines resource management with RPG-style adventure combat. You will fight hordes of undead enemies that force you to be creative and push your resources. It's a punishing game where lowering the difficulty might be a good idea, given how easy it is to get hurt or become lost. But if you fight past the frustration and get knocked around enough times, you can find a decent adventure that you are proud of completing.- KeenGamer

The Last Faith does not pretend to overcome its prior inspirations but impeccably attains a satisfying length and experience. It carefully adopts classic sensations, covering players in some of the genre's finest moments. Thus, in a gaming landscape inundated with overly ambitious Metroidvanias featuring ambitious maps, this game's convincing approach makes it an exciting challenge to complete at least once and a fair experience with increased difficulty for those who seek tougher battles after the initial completion.- KeenGamer

Blood West is a perfectly standard take on the western horror genre, offering new monsters, takes on firearms, and the aspect of being part of the undead. Will you be able to free the land from the evil curses brought on by the settlers? or will you become just another vengeful spirit roaming these hardened lands, a ghost of the past. Either way its up to you to decide with your knife, bow, and plenty of fire power to settle the wild west!- KeenGamer

While the existence of Warzone by itself shouldn't represent a threat to the franchise, Modern Warfare III is the ultimate proof of how Call of Duty's free battle royale mode is harming the main entries by turning them into Warzone spin-offs and diverting the series from what they have been re-constructing since 2019. Sadly, the enjoyable multiplayer mode doesn't compensate for the open-world mess the campaign and zombies mode represent for this wasted and mistreated sequel.- KeenGamer

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a visually breathtaking game with the DNA of standard Ubisoft games. Unpacking is not a game for everyone, but the people it appeals to will fall in love with it. UFC 5 officially marks the UFC franchise joining the ranks of every other sports game in 2023. Like a dog that is repeatedly fed the same meal everyday, this game's player base is forced to settle for a play experience that is virtually similar to UFC 4. Tacoma is a really good story wrapped up in a simple walking simulator. Engaging with the AR segments and exploring the station was enjoyable; the information presented was mostly interesting, while the voice acting was excellent. In terms of actual gameplay, it's sadly lacking and the investigation feature is its' saving grace. There are some minigames thrown in, but very little else. Coupled with (this reviewer) several game crashes, this definitely dampened the experience. I would say it is worth making the trip once. Make sure to play this in one sitting.- KeenGamer

Afterdream tells a poignant story which explores the dark aspects of grief. Feelings of blame, depression and loss of identity in the face of deep personal loss are emphasised using various visual effects. Afterdream is a psychological horror which may not strike fear into your heart, but will leaving you thinking about life, death and the in-between. The story is a little on the short side and left me with a longing for another hour or so. However, Afterdream is well written, and the gameplay is simple enough to allow you to soak in the melancholic atmosphere and ponder the narrative at your own pace.- KeenGamer

Although Land of the Vikings provides a relatively fresh setting in the city-building simulation genre, the lack of content after you pass through the first winter might prove to be unsettling, as with the frustrating Tree of Life system where some basic mechanics are locked behind, particularly the Auto Assign mechanic. Hearts Of Iron IV: Arms Against Tyranny is a solid DLC. Adding a great slice of new content that more than just adds in a couple new focus trees and a crowbarred in mechanic like the previous one. In terms of a DLC, High on Knife delivers exactly what it should. It gives you more of what made the main game good with some new things to keep it fresh. Any praise it deserves is earned more from the fundamentals of the main game rather than its own thing. All-in-all, Home Chef Hustle Stuff marks a triumphant return for Stuff Packs in The Sims 4. I used the words "slightly undercooked" in the title for a reason, and that's because I felt that there could have been a few extra CAS items and objects. There are also a few minor bugs I encountered. On the whole though, this is a good Stuff Pack.
