In spite of great game design ideas, especially concerning the stressful fights against zombies, this Walking Dead VR game suffers from difficulty balancing issues and from a lack of innovative situations.

We would have liked all the charm of the African legends of Tales of Kenzera ZAU to also be found in a level design that was both inspired and inventive! Outstripped by a plethora of competitors, the first software from Surgent Studios lacks the depth and precision to establish itself in the domain of the Gods. However, it does not lack assets: with its low price (20 euros), its dynamism and its enchanting universe, this Metroidvania, less labyrinthine than the others, has interesting arguments to help you spend 8 entertaining hours.

If we will deplore the fights of great classicism, an often routed AI, an insufficiently dense multiplayer mode or a campaign without flavor in terms of stakes, Warlords always retains the pleasant character of the series in its management aspect, and satisfactory when our army creates breaches in abundance in the enemy ramparts.

Permanently taken by the hand, the player who sets out to discover Detective Pikachu Returns must be young enough to appreciate the formula... but not too young if they don't want to be put off by the idea of spending 12 hours reading texts. As for older fans of the Pokémon saga, they will try it just to discover the end of this incredible story which features a Pikachu with a gravelly voice dressed as Sherlock Holmes and a great coffee lover.

Daemon X Machina is a frustrating game. Because, on one hand, it has everything a real robot anime lovers is looking for. But most of the time, the game is sluggish, with terrible gunfeel and repetitive missions.

If its atmosphere as its concept are successful, The Signifier struggles to develop its very good ideas and comes up against a certain repetitiveness even though the ground of the game would have been fertile enough to diversify both the puzzles and the phases of the game.

The adventures of Anu, Octavio and Fran struggle to achieve the furious madness that we have come to expect from a game stamped Borderlands. Sometimes irreverent, often conventional, the title signed Gearbox is satisfied with the union minimum for an Interactive Drama of 2022 in terms of gameplay. The virtual absence of Cornelian choices and the rhythm which collapses after the third chapter prevent him from forgiving his lack of ambition. The problem with New Tales from the Borderlands isn't that it doesn't reinvent the wheel, but that it spins the genre around in circles. Fortunately, his humor gives him a significant sympathy capital.

Left alone without any form of competition, Just Dance 2019 hardly evolves. This one episode, on Switch, banks on fun above all, but at the expense of precision and skill.

SNK 40th Anniversary Collection was craft with all the good intentions in the world, but that’s not enough. But the good emulation, interface and fonctionnalities don’t balance the cruel absence of many great SNK games.

Pro Cycling Manager 2018 isn’t a bad game, but clearly, it lacks any kind of new features one can expect for any brand new video game. And that’s a shame because many things needed to be improved.

Clearly, Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory won’t fit to many players. It’s repetitive and the action may be messy at time. But the writing and the fighting save it all, making it an interesting game.

Due to the absence of VR headset on Xbox One, Transference feels a bit incomplete and loses here a significant immersive element of its suffocating atmosphere. Plus, the experience remains too short and lacks freedom.
