Micro-transactions are still omnipresent, almost essential for career shooters, the fault of a new timing system that is very difficult to learn and very frustrating. The completely visually redesigned quarter hides the quarry's stagnation, most of the other modes have not changed and 2K20's flaws remain. Even the very lackluster in-game menus characterize the overall laziness of the title. Only the novelties of My Team mode are satisfactory for a forgettable title on the current generation of consoles.- Jeuxvideo.com

Two feelings arose upon releasing Football Manager 26. Like many, there was disappointment at not getting the expected knockout punch after a two-year hiatus and a major overhaul primarily by Sports Interactive. This was due to an interface designed to appeal to everyone (newcomers, experienced players, console and PC gamers) that risked not fully satisfying anyone, a lack of varied modes, and above all: too many bugs at launch! However, it's important to take a step back and see that the game remains incredibly deep in its management of a club, a manager's career, and player development. All of this is boosted by the new Unity engine in matches, the inclusion of women's football, and tactical progression before and during games. And for those seeking total immersion with all the licenses, authentic logos, and player photos, the passionate FM community will always be there to mod the game on PC while waiting for the licensed 2026 World Cup and updates from the British studio.- Jeuxvideo.com

The huge number of playable characters may suggest a big adventure is concealed in Marvel Powers United VR. Well, not really. But it's still worth your time, especially if you want to play with all your friends in VR.- Jeuxvideo.com

After some very good first hours of play, Call of Cthulhu runs dry with few interactions and poor stealth sequences. The Lovecraft atmosphere is here though, which may appeal to whoever can be indulgent with the game’s many flaws.- Jeuxvideo.com

For a tribute to the classics of the 80s - early 90s and in particular to Castlevania, Wallachia: Reign of Dracula can be considered a success, thanks to its exciting, difficult but satisfying old school adventure, which will transport us for 4 hours to the time. of the NES. It is unfortunately pulled down by an adventure already seen a thousand and once, dubbing sometimes alongside, gameplay sometimes frustrating and not very varied. Nevertheless, whether it is for the regulars of the games of Migami Games or the newcomers, the game will undoubtedly please if the person is up for a good challenge.- Jeuxvideo.com

With its fan-service and multiple references, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R is above all dedicated to the community keen on the work of Hirohiko Araki. A pampered remaster of the eponymous title from the PlayStation 3 toy library, it offers an impressive cast and gameplay that is as technical as it is dynamic. If the balance of forces is not optimal (some characters are much more powerful than others), CyberConnect2's game has enough assets to convince fighting enthusiasts. Provided you know the manga or anime. Otherwise, Battle R may be far too hermetic for neophytes and non-connoisseurs of manga.- Jeuxvideo.com

More seductive in its first part, The Gunk offers a pleasant exploration in sumptuous settings which lose their luster a little over the course of the journey; it also fails to renew itself in the challenges and puzzles it houses. This short adventure of 6 to 7 hours only is appreciated in the tranquility of its experience, its narrative potential and its beautiful dubbing. But difficult to be fully excited after spending long hours sucking up to abundant parasites.- Jeuxvideo.com

There’s some good stuff in Strange Brigade, such as its unique visual style and its deliberate kitsch narration. But if you’re used to Horde-type games, it won’t be challenging and fresh enough to entertain you.- Jeuxvideo.com

Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is ultimate in name only. While the title bills itself as the most comprehensive release in the series, that is only true for its impressive cast of over 130 fighters. On the other hand, as for its story mode... between a minimally regressive setting, absent major boss fights and above all an original story that is not very interesting, there is reason to be frankly disappointed. Ultimately, only fans of the franchise determined to play online will find what they are looking for by taking advantage of the generous roster and the gameplay that is still as effective despite the years. For others, we advise you to turn to the first four episodes, which are available on all platforms and often at a low price, to better enjoy the story of Naruto.- Jeuxvideo.com

Unequally interesting from quest to quest, Déraciné takes its time and thus creates a lovable atmospher, in which VR is not a gadget. But the simplistic puzzles and lack of choices makes it a nice but forgettable experience.- Jeuxvideo.com

Without ever excelling or establishing itself as a new benchmark in the genre, Steelrising is a completely solid Souls-like that is sure to please fans of Dark Souls and Elden Ring. Yes, there are pros and cons everywhere! The technique is behind but the artistic direction wins hands down. The action phases are enjoyable but lack challenge at the end of the adventure. The level design of the various areas is quite academic but works well. Despite everything, we quickly get carried away by this demanding action game, tinged with robots, French Revolution and History. If the atmosphere speaks to you and you like Elden Ring, you can go there without hesitation.- Jeuxvideo.com

After a weekend of intense play on the courts of NBA 2K24, the observation is there: the mechanics are very different from last season to perform on the floors, and progress in the career. It is less obvious to have a very complete player online, and the new defense and contact system will delight the greatest defenders and screen setters at heart. To complement the many hours of gaming required online, the single-player content of the software is still gargantuan, with welcome new features. We will simply complain about the ever more invasive micro-transaction system to progress quickly, and a Mamba Moments mode tribute to Kobe not at the level of that of Michael Jordan last season.- Jeuxvideo.com

Hoa asserts itself as a nice little independent parenthesis, at the crossroads between the gameplay of Ori and an artistic direction at studio Ghibli. The latter is also a success in every way, whether in terms of sets, chara design or animation. A colorful dreamlike epic galvanized by Johannes Johansson's musical composition. Unfortunately if the visual is inspired and inspiring, it just lacks a dose of challenge and innovation in the gameplay to make the platform unforgettable. Two elements that can only be found in the conclusion of the work, enough to leave regrets.- Jeuxvideo.com

Beautiful to fall for, fun and nervous, The Ascent is a generous twin stick shooter, which evolves in a coherent world with neat lore. If the optimization of the game as the ergonomics of the navigation or the interface remain to be reviewed and can sometimes be frustrating, the whole is sufficiently solid on its shoot part as an RPG to occupy you for long hours, solo or with friends . A great way to get back on track for the small team of Neon Giant, whose game is available as soon as it is released on the Game Pass.- Jeuxvideo.com
