Each new entry in the NBA 2K series makes it more impressive, more realistic, more believable. NBA 2K16 succeeds in making itself more easy for the newcomers and it's still very demanding for the experienced players.- JeuxActu

Haters can have fun criticizing Nintendo for hours, but the Kyoto firm shows a remarkable knowledge with Pikmin 3. If the graphics, no matter how cute they are, can't hide the technological gap already existing between the Wii U on one hand and the PS4 and Xbox One in the other, the game has nothing to learn in terms of level design or gameplay. Very clever when it's about dividing Pikmins in 3 separate groups, the game shows that the concept is still worthy. We regret, nonetheless, that the GamePad hasn't been able to present itself as absolutely necessary, making Pikmin 3 an evolution rather than a revolution.- JeuxActu

Even if Total War: Warhammer 2 was made in a short time, it is clearly better than its first iteration thanks to the four new races, the new story mode and the many gameplay improvements.- JeuxActu

Four years after the PS4 version, Spider-Man Remastered is still fun to play on PC. Graphically, the game is still nice and the game is a real living advertisement for raytracing. So if you ever missed this game on PlayStation, you no longer have any reason to deprive yourself.- JeuxActu

Ten years, five expansions, and World of Warcraft keeps reinventing itself. Warlords of Draenor is no revolution, no disruption, but it makes the gaming experience even deeper. A good way to show that WoW is still the number one MMORPG.- JeuxActu

Does Halo Infinite give us a graphic slap worthy of a new generation title? Outside of the cutscenes, not really. Does Halo Infinite offer us an innovative open world? No, the recipe could not be more classic. But Halo Infinite remains one of the best episodes of the saga, which it significantly enriches while offering more tactical combat than ever, the latter requiring the player to constantly adapt to the current situation.- JeuxActu

In 2025, Xenoblade Chronicles X is no longer just another forgotten Wii U RPG: it's a videogame manifesto brought up to date, a singular work that finally finds the setting it deserves on Nintendo Switch. Where so many modern productions rely on cinematic narrative or immediate gratification, Monolith Soft's title dares to offer something else: a truly free open world, non-linear progression, gameplay that demands investment, and above all, a vision. That of an uncompromising RPG.- JeuxActu

Like all annualized sports franchises, NBA 2K14 is coming at the end of a cycle and of an era. Even though the next gen version is nearing completion at Visual Concepts, the devs didn't forget about fine tuning the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, adding exclusive content and a sleeker gameplay. Overall, NBA 2K14 gained in rhythm, the dribbles are easier to manage and the defense system rocks. Add to the mix new crazy animations and you'll have a good picture of what NBA 2K is today. We can also enjoy the presence of Euroleague even if the 14 available teams (not including France) are restricted to exhibition matches, which brings some fresh air to the roster. On the other hand, we were let down by Lebron James's mod "Path to Greatness", badly made just to justify the King's presence this year. But those drawbacks are quickly forgotten because NBA 2K14 still reigns as the master on the court.- JeuxActu

Grow Home is an interesting surprise from a publisher who get used to mismanaging his own IP's. This platformer like no other has everything going for you and for a very low price tag. You can easily give it a try.- JeuxActu

For only sixty euros, you can own three action/adventure masterpieces. Even after all those years, we're still amazed by the perfect balance between exploration, gunfights and reflection. If you can afford it, don't hesitate one bit.- JeuxActu

Football Manager 2013 is the best Football Manager released at this stage in many ways. New modes arrive just in time to renew interest in the game (with the Challenges) and give an easier access to it for the newcomers (with the Classic mode). GUI improved a lot, every information you need is at your disposal. Forget about playing with the 3D engine by the way : it hasn't evolved since last year, unlike training sessions, which are simpler and more logical to organize. FM has never been so deep, so real and each decision you make will have an impact on your manager.- JeuxActu

F1 2017 is clearly the best opus of the IP in the last 4 years at least. With increased content and the return of the old cars from the glory days, the game only suffers from a vastly improvable multiplayer mode and an old graphics engine.- JeuxActu

The Messenger is a very good game that has lots of twists, whether it's in its narration or in it's gameplay. This game seems more aimed at the nostalgic gamer rather than the younger audience with lots of references to games from the 8 and 16 bit era.- JeuxActu

This PC port fulfills its role very well because it cancels a lot of limitations of the Switch version. The framerate is no longer stuck at 30 frames per second, the resolution can go up to 4K, some textures are much more detailed, and loading times are noticeably reduced. However, we should not expect either that this former Nintendo exclusive will miraculously transform into graphic mastery worthy of the biggest productions of 2022.- JeuxActu

The PC version of Death Stranding is clearly the superior version as it's better looking, but also offers more content, a new difficulty setting, and a few Easter eggs to Valve Software's franchises. On the other hand the game's initial drawbacks are still present, like that awful advertisement for an energy drink, or a messy UI.- JeuxActu

The main attraction in Titanfall remains the gameplay. On this side, there is no doubt that Respawn did a really great job. It's excellent, handy even with the profusion of possibilities. The parts of the game you play in Titans and you play on your feet are very well-balanced as well. However, it's difficult to hide the small number of modes and their lack of originality.- JeuxActu

Sent to the stake before it could even justify its communication blunders, Silent Hill 2 Remake has now had its revenge. Not only has Bloober Team delivered a modern reinterpretation of Masashi Tsuboyama's game with this remake, but the Polish studio has also managed to capture the very essence of what it represented, namely an agonizing and anxiety-provoking dive into the tortured and painful mind of James Sunderland. The themes addressed have an even stronger resonance today, since it deals with domestic violence, toxicity, child abuse and even suicide. Not everything is perfect, mind you, and we would have liked more up-to-date animations, a more flexible combat system too, and perhaps a more marked character design, but the incredible atmosphere that emerges from the game manages to make us forget these technical errors.- JeuxActu

Mario Kart World marks a bold reinvention of the series, introducing an open world and new mechanics like dynamic weather, aerial stunts, and grinding. While the Free Roam mode feels underused and the Battle mode lacks depth, the game shines with varied, exciting tracks and a thrilling new Survival mode. Despite a few omissions, like the 200cc mode, it’s a strong, modern entry that refreshes the formula while laying solid foundations for future updates.- JeuxActu

With Nioh 3, Team NINJA delivers its most ambitious entry to date, and easily its most divisive. In an effort to modernize the formula and appeal to a wider audience, the studio shifts toward open areas inspired by games like Elden Ring. The downside is that this evolution comes at the cost of the series’ core identity. At its best, Nioh 3 is still a combat juggernaut. The fighting system is incredibly deep, the Samurai/Ninja duality is a smart and satisfying addition, and the sheer variety of builds, weapons, and playstyles is impressive. Few games in the genre reward skill, experimentation, and long-term commitment quite like it does. Unfortunately, the open-field structure never truly comes together. Exploration feels flat, enemy and asset reuse is hard to ignore, the story lacks impact, and the overall presentation feels dated, especially by 2026 standards. In the end, Nioh 3 is a great fit for hardcore fans who come for the combat and the challenge, but it’s unlikely to win over players looking for a striking open world, a memorable story, or a strong visual showcase.- JeuxActu

It's tough to deny the quality of StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. Little by little, Blizzard makes the original version more perfect and this expansion is logically a must-have for fans. Newborn strategists and skilled warlords will find what they're looking for. There is still one question, however: did Blizzard hold back enough new elements for the last expansion devoted to Protoss?- JeuxActu

Pentiment is clearly not a game like the others. An investigation game set in the Middle Ages on the side of Germany, the title developed by Obsidian requires an effort of concentration from players unaccustomed to so many dialogues. Despite this, Pentiment is doing well with a captivating story, pleasant gameplay, despite sometimes readability problems in the story, because of its many dialogues.- JeuxActu
