Not the best nor the worst Mass Effect to date, Andromeda is a still a good game with a load of content. It lacks a bit of personality to stand out, and needs quite a bit more polish from a technical standpoint.

Severed is exactly what you would expect to see on PS Vita more often. What we expected to see, to be fair. Something different, something new, that uses the console in a very smart way, just like Tearaway did a few years ago.

As FIFA 17 will take a few gambles in order to build something new, PES 2017 rather has improved and polished what Konami is trying to do for two or three years now. It will be time for the big changes next year.

With a very well made atmosphere, a good storyline and a high quality Jazz soundtrack, Compulsion Game's title takes the player in a very seductive world. But the true strong point of the game is in its addictive gameplay, the possibility to shift between 2D and 3D serves both the game and the story by providing us with a peep of the real world, seen through a game of shadows. Without being flawless, Contrast manages to be a very good platform game that will win the hearts of most gamers for sure.

With six studios collaborating, The Division 2 is a blockbuster that builds itself upon the strengths of its predecessor. The game offers good gameplay, decent AI, and loads of content which is a good thing for power players. The game still lacks some soul and feels repetitive after a while.

Ruiner is a very good action game with an on-par scenario, very good gameplay and quite impressive graphics for an indie game. The only shortcoming is the eight hours of life this game has, but for such a low fee we can't really complain.

Like the first épisode, Little Nightmares 2 plays on childhood fears to distill a particularly unhealthy and disturbing atmosphere. If the gameplay goes better with the arrival of a companion, the handling remains unfortunately perfectible. Not enough to sulk our pleasure, this little adventure remains both charming and scary.

Going open-world is now a fashion rule for all the racing games, and DriveClub is kind of a rebel from this point of view. But offering only closed tracks is absolutely not a problem here, as the game distinguishes itself with its thrilling sensation of pace. It's true that we'd have appreciated more subtlety in the driving and less rubbish in the collisions but DriveClub is at least accessible to everyone. Visually well-shaped, Evolution Studios' game is lacking a good AI and this little bit of craziness... Fortunately, the players can count on the included online functions to compensate.

FIFA 20 still retains its enormous content and its pool of official licensing, but overall the experience feels dated, and the minor improvements made by the devs can't rejuvenate the formula enough.

We'd like to give a greeting to Ultra Street Fighter 4 but we doubt that a wider audience can enjoy the few technical changes in it. It would maybe have been better in a free update? Fair enough, it comes with five new characters, but only one is a real surprise... And this version comes with glitches of its own, so it's the most complete iteration, but not the perfect one. It's perhaps time for Street Fighter 5.

Battle For Azeroth succeeds in renewing the interest around Blizzard's MMORPG and that's enough for most fans. Of course, most additions don't really revolutionize the game even if the wild pvp and the exploration of islands are welcome.

In 2025, Xenoblade Chronicles X is no longer just another forgotten Wii U RPG: it's a videogame manifesto brought up to date, a singular work that finally finds the setting it deserves on Nintendo Switch. Where so many modern productions rely on cinematic narrative or immediate gratification, Monolith Soft's title dares to offer something else: a truly free open world, non-linear progression, gameplay that demands investment, and above all, a vision. That of an uncompromising RPG.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is very close to Dear Esther, to Twin Peaks in the atmosphere, but it offers real gameplay, something fresh and new for this style of game. The first-person view and the freedom given to the player assist relatively simple but always rewarding puzzles. Above all, we can only assess the very high quality of the graphics and the talented artistic direction. OK, it's not very long to play, but it's not very expensive either, so there's no reason to ignore it.

Sadly this remaster of Beyond Two Souls doesn't bring much to the game. The graphics improvement is minimal, and the lack of 60 fps framerate is quite unfortunate. Beyond Two Souls stays one of the best narrative games of the last few years.

For the first time, you can really be the Batman and it's a exhilarating feeling. Rocksteady adapted Batman to VR really well: they kept focus on investigation instead of fighting, avoiding motion sickness by making Batman still. And they eventually offer a surprising scenario. It's far from perfect, but it's one of the best experience on PS VR you can play today.

Skylanders Trap Team is by far the most completed game in the series, thanks to the bad guys of Skylands, which weren't expected in this party. They make the gameplay deeper and the fun they bring allows you to forget the linearity of the journey, still in place. Sparkling graphics, hours of play and hundreds of treasures: Skylanders Trap Team has all that is needed to be a new success.

Valorant offers undoubtedly a well-tailored gameplay, and Riot will certainly make the most of it on the eSport scene, but it still feels a bit like a bootleg of Counter-Strike, and that's sad.

Moonlighter is an incredibly enjoyable jaunt through some interesting ideas and some fun fights. While the combat gets a little easy as you progress, the fun of watching money pour in as you play is immensely satisfying. It would be nice if there was more reason to play after completion as is normally the case with roguelites, but equally having an actual conclusion is a breath of fresh air for the genre. It is a lot of fun and one that will keep you entertained for a fair while if you want to sink your time into it.

Let's not blind ourselves, while being sold as a stand-alone, Wolfenstein : The Old Blood is more of a DLC than a real new game. By adding around 10 hours of gameplay at a very attractive price (20€), Machinegames treats us with a very nice add to the IP. A must-buy for every Wolfenstein enthusiast, a must consider for FPS gamers.

Pentiment is clearly not a game like the others. An investigation game set in the Middle Ages on the side of Germany, the title developed by Obsidian requires an effort of concentration from players unaccustomed to so many dialogues. Despite this, Pentiment is doing well with a captivating story, pleasant gameplay, despite sometimes readability problems in the story, because of its many dialogues.

There is absolutely no bad idea among the new ones included in Soul Sacrifice Delta. A more developed background, a deeper universe still well-served by the exceptional narration of the first episode; new factions that modify your game; a larger content: no doubt, Soul Sacrifice Delta is something you must have if you own a PS Vita.

Outlast 2 is a very good follow up to the first iteration which improved graphics and a very good story if you're brave enough to read every paper you grab. Sadly the Die & Retry side of things brings the fear down a notch.

Outlast is the pleasant surprise of fall 2013, a true survival-horror game with an olds-chool gameplay and a very scary atmosphere. Fear is what it's all about and that's what you're going to find inside Mount Massive Asylum, and it already makes the game a success. With a very well made storyline in spite of a touchy ending, Outlast is definitely a reference title rivaling with Amnesia or Forbidden SIREN. In spite of some problems which are due to the tight development budget, hence the small retail price of 20€, the game will provide gamers with a deep dive into the most dark horrors, which will make you forget the minors faults that Red Barrels let slip pass. A title that will scare future PS4 owners for sure!

With no change to the game whatsoever, Capcom gives us an essential and intemporal game as Resident Evil 4 HD and still dominates other titles it has inspired. At last out on PC after years of begging from fans, this game is clearly the definitive edition of the title, with a motherload of content and a welcome graphics-lifting. We enjoy meeting Leon, Ada, Ashley, Saddler and Salazar again in their roles, and with a 20€ pricetag on Steam, this is tremendous value. The perfect time to discover a classic of videogame.

With Pragmata, Capcom comes in with a pretty bold idea, a dual gameplay system where shooting and hacking happen at the same time, and honestly, it works really well. The whole dynamic between Hugh and Diana is easily the highlight, and once the hacking clicks, the fights feel fast, tense, and really fun. The game is at its best when everything flows together, Hugh feels great to control, super mobile, and Diana’s hacking system becomes pretty natural after a while. That contrast between the two is really what makes the game stand out. But yeah, it’s not perfect. The progression gets repetitive, the game is pretty easy overall, and the bosses, while cool-looking, don’t really push you that much. Story-wise, it’s also pretty standard. There are a few nice moments between Hugh and Diana, but overall it’s a bit predictable, and sometimes a little cheesy. Still, for the gameplay alone, Pragmata is worth checking out, just don’t expect it to last more than about 10 hours.

If the new stuff is scarce in Assassin's Creed III Remastered, the game still offers a good experience, and offers a nice bundle with Assassin's Creed Liberation. We would have loved a bit more polish on the graphics though.
