After completing the first episode of this Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea, it clearly appears that mixing Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite universes was a very good idea indeed, and maybe the best reason for a solo DLC. Going through Rapture is a true joy, and the meeting with Elizabeth as a pin-up is great. The gameplay, the art direction and the scenario are still very interesting. The only drawback are the two hours of play sold for 15€. You should go for the Season Pack!

With Vertigo, Pendulo Studios is abandoning the genre of puzzle adventure games in favor of slightly interactive fictions, Dontnod Entertainment style. The initial promise was enticing, but the pacing issues, lack of real gameplay, and bugs got the better of our enthusiasm.

Unfinished and yet terribly ambitious, The Secret World stirs up a hornets' nest among the MMORPG titles. Its fantastic and modern universe does not bother introducing the usual elves and dwarves, and offers a great graphic experience. Moreover, by introducing investigation side quests we could find in the game In Memoriam, the title moves us away from the traditional fight sequences against monsters.

Ni No Kuni is not a bad game strictly speaking, but frightfully irritating. Beautiful, nearly an artistic piece, packed with enchanted moments, especially for a younger audience, the Level-5's game miss its target. With its unbalanced difficulty, Ni No Kuni can easily put children aside and its lack of thickness will bore adults. It's a shame.

Another year, another Pro Cycling Manager, but still no big improvement in this 2012 edition. Cyanide may have been focused ont other projects and, as a result, the game isn't very different from last year's game. Graphics are slightly better and the Season Planner is finally a pretty good tool. But at the end of the day, players who already have PCM 2011 will need to think hard before splashing some cash in this new edition.

SEGA reinvents the music adventure game by giving us a strong story and a very pleasant background which is Paris under the lights. A really a nice mixture of Rhythm Paradise, Elite Beat Agent and Samba de Amigo.

Dead Island 2 is not doing too badly, especially for a development that started more than 10 years ago. But we obviously cannot ignore all the archaism of its game design. Whether it's the overall structure of the game (several small, very down-to-earth open areas, without any possibility of verticality), its basic and repetitive gameplay, Dead Island 2 can put off some players. Despite these major flaws, the title of Deep Silver still manages to appeal to our primary instincts, namely to slaughter zombies with such graphic violence that it becomes enjoyable.

Iron Harvest is quite a nice RTS (which is a rare thing ATM), and even if we can find a few hiccups with the AI and more specifically it's pathfinding, we can expect some updates to correct all of this. Seven years after the last Company of Heroes, it's great to see some new faces.

If Troy isn't the best Total War, it's one of the most convincing Total War Saga games. Overall the recipe for the IP doesn't change much, which is a bit sad for newcomers, but will delight the fans of the series.

Football Manager 2017 will be a disappointment for the fans ; so few new features, so few improvements. It still is the best game in its own category, but it's now two disappointing entries in a row. The next one will release under some pressure, for sure.

Killing Floor 2 is a very good coop shooter that puts you and your team in front of hordes of Zeds. If the game looks a bit better, overall there is very little new content from the first opus of the IP.

With a lot of content, God Eater 2 : Rage Burst is a very good Action-RPG game, but it heavily suffers from it's visuals. Looks like it's a PS Vita Port with a few HD textures thrown at it.

It's a strange feeling to play this Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. The gaming experience is both exciting and frustrating. Exciting because replaying this adventure fifteen years ago has remained almost intact. Apart from a few aspects of the gameplay that have aged badly (because the gameplay was originally built for the Wiimote and Nunchunk) and its bosses that are still disappointing (like in 2010, it hasn't changed), the game still shines with its ingenious game design, its well-crafted level design and its gameplay that is still as square. Where Donkey Kong Country Returns HD disappoints is in its basic, almost lazy adaptation. Apart from the HD smoothing, it's the same game in every way, and it's true that in 2025, some models have aged. And then, we would have also liked Nintendo to offer us exclusive content for this Switch version, as was the case when the game was released on 3DS in 2013.

Take a large measure of Dead Island, a pinch of Mirror's Edge, a handful of Left 4 Dead, a little of Dead Rising and a few grams of Far Cry, and mix the result. You'll get Dying Light, an open-world game which tries to bring something new without really being able to do it.

Pro Cycling manager is the best pushbike sim available on the market, with a manager mode more enjoyable than ever. The biggest flaw is the absolute lack of official licensing which will undoubtedly keep some fans away.

Battleborn got us quite divided. Some praised its humor and the 25 colorful characters that make for a lot of farming, while others criticized the lack of maps, gameplay modes and overall content that's quite thin for a game sold at full price.

Every year, it's the same story. Because of the lack of competition, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 keeps its position as the best golf game on the market. However, the next game really needs to present new features to the players to give the IP a new lease on life!

Theatrhythm : Final Fantasy is clearly a game developed for fans. Similar to Dissidia in terms of contents to unlock, the game also offers a interesting gameplay introducing some RPG elements. The experience points are earned with difficulty and yet pride, especially when when players will fint it unthinkable not to play each musical pieces over and over again to reach perfection. A great opportunity to discover or rediscover the amazing compositions composed by Uematsu, Hamauzu or Sakimoto!

Don't be fooled. Unveiled as a retro game, FEZ is a breath of fresh air. Inspired by a lot of 80s games, FEZ is both a platform and puzzle-game that will enchant the players, thanks to its beautiful design, its ingenious riddles, and the perfect use of 2D and 3D graphics. Despite some frame-rate issues, surely FEZ is a game that you need to add to your digital game library.

Greedfall is the clearly the best game from Spiders to date with a good freedom given to the player, and a great lore. There are a few hiccups here and there, mainly due to the limited budget, but if you're ready to close your eyes, it's still a nice RPG.

If you're done with Zelda Breath of the Wild, we suggest you go for Snipperclips as it's a good concept to demo the Switch's abilities along with some nice puzzles to resolve. The paper cutting aspect is clever and the game is sold for way less than the boring 1-2 Switch.
