Severed is one of the best PS Vita games ever, and the touch controls are used well. The game is a constant surprise full of smart gameplay features, items and magical powers. It is very fun to explore this world as it keeps on challenging you until the end.

Black Desert Online is an addictive and interesting game full of changes. It is so huge and it is so full of options, that it might scare away a few gamers. That would be a pity because this game is worth your money: after 138 hours there is still so much to discover.

Star Fox Guard has a nice learning curve to get you up to speed about robots, CCTV and mazes. There is a huge variety of enemies and weapons, to keep guarding the Grippy installations fun. That really helps, but only for a while, after playing this game for a while, it does get repetitive.

Yo-Kai Watch is both on the outside as the inside a very attractive game. The funny and unique Yo-Kai truly make this game worthwhile, even though it involves too much walking and searching. This is a great introduction to the franchise.

Star Fox Zero tries new things while trying to stay true to the franchise. The controls are something to get used to, but you'll get over them. What is difficult to accept, though, is the repetitive nature of the missions and the brevity of the game. Such a pity, because deep inside this was such a good game with awesome air battles.

Ratchet & Clank is reintroduced to gamers and it is done very well. The visuals are fantastic and the combination of chaotic shooting action and platforming is still gold to us. It is too bad the friendship between Ratchet and Clank is very much in the background.

Dark Souls III is the best that the genius, yet twisted brain of Hidetaka Miyazaki has to offer. This might feel like the Dark Souls game you already played before, but then optimized, smoother and visually more spectacular. Expect epic bossfights, a mysterious story and constant excitement.

The short and shallow story fails to make Automatron a must-have. Making your own robot is awesome, especially as you can customize it totally to your liking. Automatron is a nice reason to pick up Fallout 4 again, but it is not a totally new experience at all.

Car enthusiasts do not have to look any further for the best race game of the moment: that would be DiRT Rally. There is so much depth, challenge and sensation in this new Codemasters title, wow. All we want is more tracks and cars.

There are some cool new features in Rio 2016, for example the costumes in the story mode. The possibilities of 3DS are used as much as possible, which is very fun, especially as the variety in minigames is good. Is it exciting though? Unfortunately not, and there are no online ways of playing, which feels a bit old-fashioned.

Quantum Break is all about one thing: storytelling. The game is dynamic, quick and has a terrific look and feel. Remedy has made a masterpiece.

TrackMania Turbo is not perfect, but it is an amazing race and a pleasure to watch. If the community is nice and active, TrackMania Turbo can stick around for a very long time.

On the New 3DS Hyrule Warriors Legends is a surprisingly entertaining port of the Wii U-game. It misses some detail, but there are new characters and missions to make up for that. The game is still repetitive and on older models the frame rate is very bad, but if you own a New 3DS, this is definitely worth playing.

The concept of Wondershot is pretty good: you only get one life and one chance to use your gun if you miss target. On the PC it is too bad that the game is very much made for local co-op play, as many home setups do not really allow for more than one person to sit. Plus, Wondershot does not have enough personality to really stick.

UFC 2 feels like a complete UFC experience with a few good new features. The Ultimate Team and Knockout modes offer many hours of fun. The career mode however, could still use a bit of work.

In general Pokken Tournament is not super brilliant or innovative, but it does put everything we have learned about Pokemon over these past twenty years in a very solid fighting game.

This is a strategic and rhythmic roguelite that offers many hours of entertainment thanks to its randomly generated dungeons, bombastic soundtrack and waves of deadly enemies. Sometimes it seems impossible to really get through the game, but that awesome feeling when you do win, will get you hooked on Crypt of the Necrodancer.

The Division is more RPG than shooter, but on both parts it is a lot better than expected. At the end of the game, after reaching the level cap (30), the amount of content gets a bit small, but that does not mean we want to stop playing this great game.

Superhot is not traditional, standard or bad. The unique gameplay offers a highly entertaining adventure in a surreal world. The story and the way it is told are original and the extra challenges offer a couple of hours of crazy fun.

This is a shooter that will make any bad mood fade away instantly. It does not matter if you'd rather play on the zombie side or the side of the flowers; both will offer fun new characters that will grant you many hours of multiplayer fun. The campaign is a bit short, so in a next game we would like to see more of that.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD might not be the best Zelda, at least it aged well. The HD port is not on all levels equally solid, plus there are not a lot of new features. However, this game still is an amazing adventure that will entertain you for many hours.

Even though the setting, graphics and characters are pretty solid, AC Chronicles Russia simply does not feel like an epic adventure. Instead we get frustrating fights and that is again a disappointment.

Hunting and taming wild animals is a great experience, but it is the only big new feature in this game. The fighting misses depth and impact, and most of the gameplay simply feels to familiar. The game is entertaining, but together with the thin story Primal is just too average.

The Following is a lot like Dying Light. The same rough edges, basic story and annoying characters. Even the bugs and other technical issues are still there. However, this add on does bring enough new features to make it worth while to play Dying Light again. Plus, it is still a game with strong gameplay and amazing co-op modes.

It is really hard not to fall in love with Unravel. The atmospheric, beautiful world is the perfect setting for an emotional story. There are a few hiccups when it comes to gameplay, but thanks to the quality of the adventure that is hardly noticeable.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon rewards players that look further than just the boring story and slow introduction. As soon as you have freedom, this game is one of the best ones in the franchise. There are more than 700 Pokemon to collect and that is exactly what we want.

This is a game with two faces: the story mode and adventure modes are amazing thanks to the action, fights and quick time events, but there are also bad dialogues between characters. Thankfully there is a lot to do in this game, so that does make it worth while.

Firewatch is great little game among all the big productions this spring, as it only takes you four hours to experience this glitchy game world. It is a good adventure with a few emotional moments, but it simply does not impress as much as we were hoping for.
